Lux electrical service serviced our home on May 25, 2023. Because of this service we are able to use wall sockets that we have never used since we’ve been in our home. He’s very efficient respectful brilliant because now we are able to use a lot more space in our home. thanks to Lux Electrician.

We had Lux Electrical work on our kitchen and could not be happier with with Todd: efficient, professional, great workmanship, and he didn't mind me asking questions. Already passed their contact info to friends in the area.

Let me start by saying that this was not our first electrician we chose to come out. Unfortunately, the first electrician that came out, completely ruined our circuit breaker box to the point where, in order to turn on the power in our house we had to turn on our stove. And the reply from the electrician that came out was for us not to call him back and he charged us $350 told us to have a good day! When I posted our experience on Facebook, a friend of mine Commented that her husband was a licensed electrician, and that he would be happy to come out and check to see what was wrong with our box. Todd and Candice both came out At 8 PM that night and stayed for over three hours to make sure that our family at least had electricity that night and fixed what the previous electrician messed up. After consulting with Todd, we had realized that we needed a new box Outside at the pole, It was seriously outdated and needed a Complete remodel. The first electrician that came out, gave us a estimate of $14,000 to replace the outside box and rewire it. When we told Todd and Candice about the estimate, they were shocked And disappointed that someone in their same field of expertise, would try to rip somebody off that bad. Within three days we made an appointment To get our equipment fixed, and settled on a very reasonable rate, which was considerably lower than the first estimate that we received. When I say considerably, I mean $10,000 less!!! I would recommend Todd and Candice to anybody who has electric Issues in their home. They stand by their work and they are very knowledgeable in their expertise on electrical work. We have power that we can depend on And, my son, his fiancé, and their five-month-old are back at home And are able to use their stove without turning the lights on and off in their entire home . 😂

I was so impressed with Lux Electrical and Todd for our EVSE install last month, I had Todd come back to out ronour home today to install another EVSE unit in our garage. As with the other install, Todd was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful overall. He did a great job with the install. We plan on making our 1st call be to Lux electrical (and Todd), for all future electrical jobs in our home.

UPDATE: Hired Todd again for installation of lights in the living room and kitchen. Excellent work again and the new lights are a major quality of life improvement!

Todd did fantastic work! We had a new panel installed, a new line ran to the range, and updated pool breakers. Everything from electrical permit , inspections, and installation were all handled by Todd. He was able to get us on his schedule in a short amount of time and by the afternoon, we had power again! Cannot speak highly enough of Todd and his company. I would most certainly hire him for future electrical work and would recommend him for any electrical work you need done.

Todd and his helper did an excellent job installing a generator interlock and inlet box. Communication was great—they arrived right on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. Todd answered all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I loved that he was able to provide an estimate on-the-spot and I found him to be very thorough in the way he explained things. The first thing I have to say about Hanlon Electric is that Ryan is a licensed electricians in charlotte. I say this because the electrician I used before was not a licensed North Carlonia electrician and Ryan helped to fix all the problems the unlicensed contractor created. I recomend this company to those in need of professional local charlotte electricians who do what they say they will do when and for the price they quote.
