This review is for people who maybe don't have much experience having trees removed, so they can know what to expect.

Our representative was very knowledgeable, professional, and nice. He was able to come out quickly, and let us know the tree needed to be removed. I thought the price for the removal and the stump grinding was reasonable.

They came out and were able to remove the tree sooner than expected. They communicated this the day ahead, and everything was good to go. I wasn't home when they removed the tree, but it seemed like they did a good job.

I was told that the stump removal would be about a week later, and that some plants around the base of the tree would need to be moved. We waited almost a week and took the plants out, to be ready for them. We didn't hear anything from them. (I later learned we were waiting on the water and gas company to place flags, when I reached out to them.)

They never let me know when the stump grinding team was coming, I just came home today to a giant pile of mulch and dirt filling roughly a third of my large flower bed and about a foot deep.

This may be common sense, but I honestly didn't realize I was going to be left with this insane pile of wood trimmings that I have nothing to do with. It's all over my flowerbed and it's going to take hours to get things even partly back to as nice as they were with the stump. I really wish the representative had pointed out that this was going to be a very unpleasant situation for me to deal with in the 100 degree temperatures over the holiday weekend.

This has been an expensive lesson to learn, along with a very hot and frustrating one. But part of the reason I pay companies is so they can tell me the things I don't know or am not thinking of. Davey Tree let me down in that regard.

If you go into things knowing you'll have a 40 wheelbarrows worth of mulch dumped in the middle of your finished (with rubber mulch) flowerbed, maybe you won't be so frustrated or displeased. They are nice and know how to take down a tree, so there's that.

Had a large willow oak tree trimmed by Daniel and Jose. They were GREAT. They showed up on time (actually early), were professional and personable. Their work result was as we expected and as agreed upon. They were also entertaining to a bunch of grandkids and neighbor kids! We will definitely have them back when we need more trimming done. Thanks!

Alex with truck 1400499 did an outstanding job communicating with me about the trimming work and did even better job cleaning up the property after they finished. Very professional and will use them on all my future tree work.

From the initial visit from Daniel to the scheduling with Matthew and the trimming performed by Jose and Kadin, the experience was fantastic. I was impressed with Colton. Of the companies that came to give me a quote, he was the only one that explained to me exactly what needed to be done and why. Al and Dareus did a great job trimming my trees and cleaning up afterwards. My yard looked better after they left then before they came. It was obvious that they worked well together and had the job done quicker than expected. I will definitely use Davey Tree again and will recommend them to others.

Zach, Alan, Jose, and Kadin were great - super efficient and also just very nice. Colton has been great each time we used Davey (twice) he was the only arborist we worked with who spent the time to look fully around the property to help us identify what needed trimming or to come down, he didn’t just rely on us to know the problems. They aren’t the cheapest but I think they are the best.

Workers were all really nice and personable. The work was done fast, well and with care. Communication from start to finish was awesome. Highly recommend.

Zach, Alan, Jose, Kevin and Daniel at Davey Tree took great care of us following Colton Griffith's initial visit with us. Colton was thorough and knowledgeable and listened to our requests before making his recommendations. They were able to schedule us fairly quickly (following our HOA approval), and then Zach and crew did an excellent job. They were safe, efficient, and cleaned up like it was their own yard. Will definitely call on them again.

Alan and Kadin were very, very good. They fully explained the tree work proposed and its impact on the sun and shade in our yard. They suggested work to preserve the shade while allowing our trees to flourish.
We have had a Davey Tree annual contract for 20 years. They have been most attentive and all their work has been timely and their charges appropriate.

I had a lot of trees with branches that were growing against the side of my house and my roof had become a squirrel highway between multiple trees! I called Davey Tree and they had someone out to give me a quote the next day! On the day of service, the crew that came (Daniel, Jose, and Chris) got to my house and started working right away. They did an amazing job and were super friendly! I no longer have any branches near my house and no longer need to hear the squirrels running across my roof! If I need more tree services in the future, I will definitely call Davey Tree again!

The crews at Davey are great. Zack,Daniel,Chris and. Alan. Worked as a team complimenting each other. I add a few extras that were discovered during the original work list. They added the additional tasks no questions asked except was the work completed per my satisfaction. This is the second time I have used Davey and would highly recommend them. Friendly and professional. The after work clean was super.

I’ve use The Davey Tree Expert Company for several years and again just recently. They (Daniel, Alan, Chris and Kadin and Colton) did another excellent job taking down a dangerous leaning tree, several dead trees and raised the tree canopy in the front yard. All was done safely, with little to no collateral damage and the clean up each day was near perfect. I highly recommend The Davey Tree Expert Company.

Workers were clearing the power lines behind the houses in our neighborhood and butchered our tree. We also have a fenced in yard for our dogs and they left the gate wide open to the woods after they had left. We wouldn’t have known they left it open if it wasn’t for my dad telling me to double check. Seemed like they just didn’t rlly put much effort into their job and just wanted it to be done

Zach and Chris arrived at the scheduled time to prune a large tree. They went over the work request with me and completed the work quickly. They cleaned up the debris thoroughly.

I very highly recommend Davey. They may not be your least expensive quote but I guarantee they will be the best. Their techs are experts in their field and can keep your trees healthy and thriving. On top of that, there techs are extremely courteous and take very good care of your property.

I recently had the pleasure of working with AL and Kadin from Davey Tree. They did a terrific job pruning both shrubs and trees on my property, demonstrating great skill and attention to detail throughout the process.

What stood out most was their professionalism and willingness to listen to my questions and concerns. They patiently addressed everything I asked, ensuring I felt comfortable with the work being done. I had a dead limb that unexpectedly fell in the backyard a few weeks ago, they were quick to help remove it, going above and beyond what I expected.

On a recommendation from my HOA, I contacted Davey Tree Service to remove a 30 year old maple from our backyard which was dangerously overhanging our townhouse and our neighbors.

I can not be more satisfied with Davey's professional expertise and safe removal of the tree; there was no damage to our home or our neighbors property. I can not speak highly enough of the crew members, Sean and John. Sean, the lead, answered all my questions courteously and worked very professionally; he knew exactly how to remove the tree safely.
