Herman’s Tree Service did a fantastic job removing a fallen tree from my yard and 5 additional trees that were leaning with very little damage to my yard. They worked with me ahead of time and provided a detailed estimate and came out the same day I called to look at the situation and figure out how much it would cost. The estimate was very reasonable! The owner communicated with me regularly to work out a day and time that worked well with my busy schedule. They were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions that I had. They are professionals and took their time in removing the trees carefully to avoid any further damage and were very thorough. They really do put the customer first and I will definitely hire them if I need similar services in the future! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree services!

David was very responsive and easy to work with. He was able to efficiently remove a tree that had fallen on my garage after a wind storm. Will definitely use his services for any future needs.

David and his crew were awesome!! I had 22 big white pines that were really tall and close together. Every year I worried about them falling because of an ice storm or hurricane, either on our house or our neighbors. Even with the crazy weather we were having, he was able to get all the trees down, even the ones that were close to an out-building. David was very careful in regard to safety of his crew and our property. A couple of fence pickets were broken (trees were very close to our fence), and David fixed the fence for us. That is service!!! The price was reasonable too. I highly recommend them for your tree removal services.

David did a great job removing trees and pruning a lot of lower tree branches. He did exactly what I wanted. He was very careful with surrounding items and cleaned up all the branches. My driveway and yard looks great. I definitely recommend him.

We contacted Herman's Tree Service to haul a huge pile of yard debris and were so impressed with their service that we had them remove 3 trees also. We found them to be reasonably priced,professional ,easy to work with and friendly! We would definitely recommend them to anyone and will them again without hesitation. Great experience!

David and his crew were SO wonderful! They took down a huge dead tree that was a little too close to the house for comfort and was giving me and my husband anxiety every time it stormed. I've used Hermans Tree Service several times now. David always does excellent work, leaving a clean site behind him, with a very keen eye on approaching the job with the utmost safety. He does all this for a very fair and reasonable price. I couldn't recommend his work more.

Herman's Tree Service did a wonderful job removing 3 trees from the side of my garage. It wasn't an easy space to work in, but the trees were removed and the debris cleaned up quickly. If you need trees pruned or removed, etc., call Herman's. They're competent, safety-mined, reasonably priced, and friendly. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Used David Herman and his crew to cut down some leaning pine trees behind our home. David was prompt, very courteous, and pricing was very fair and beat a few competitors we received quotes from prior to hiring him. The work was done quickly and safely and the pines were removed from our property. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking for tree removal or trimming in the Raleigh, Clayton, or surrounding areas.

Dave is extremely responsive to the needs of his customers. Following a nasty storm we contacted Dave and within 3 hours he was on-site providing an estimate to remove 6 trees that were dangerously closet our home. He was back within 4 days with his crew [even though the heat index was over 110].The job was completed within 4 hours, all tree limbs and debris cleaned up.

We've used Dave twice before at our home and several times at our previous home. He is always professional, polite and takes safety extremely serious. All people on the job wear protective helmets, hearing protection and ensure safety is #1.

David did an amazing job. We had a gnarly old sweet gum tree losing branches that needed to come down. David and his team worked around the nearby playground, the septic system, and handled all the details to make sure that nothing was damaged while taking down tree. David was always on time and communicated clearly. When I need tree work again, David will be my first and only call.

Herman's Tree Service did a remarkable job for us! They came to our home and looked over what we wanted done. They gave an accurate description of services to be performed for us, along with a reasonable price quote. They came out and worked very professionally, and we were absolutely pleased with the results. I should add that they did not request any money up front before the job, which was surprising in this day and time. My husband and I would recommend this company without hesitation! 😊

We had many large trees in our yard lifted. Work was excellent. Limbs were chipped and left for our use as we requested. Yard was left neat. Communication was great. I highly recommend Herman’s Tree Service.

Edit (2025): This is our second time using Herman's Tree Service and would give more stars if possible. David and his team were great, neatly cleaned up our yard after the tree removal, and were fair priced. I can't recommend them enough.

(2023) David was very quick to respond to us after the recent hurricane knocked down several dead trees, and he even came out the same day for a free quote. The service was completed quickly and efficiently, and they even cleaned up the yard once they were finished. I would recommend Herman's Tree Service and would use them again in the future.

We had 7 trees removed and they did excellent work in a timely manner. They left our yard cleaned up and were very fairly priced. I would definitely recommend David and his crew to anyone.

I Called David because I had a few trees that were in desperate need of upkeep and trimming. David was very prompt with responding, coming out to look at my job and give me a quote. The next week he came out and trimmed what I needed done and also removed a tree that I’ve wanted removed for quite some time! Any tree needs in the future I will only call David.
