We needed to have over a half dozen trees removed from our property. I came across glowing reviews for Rodney's Tree Service on a neighborhood FB page. Rodney came out not long after I contacted him, surveyed the trees in question, listened closely to our concerns and inspected the trees we wanted removed. Shortly after he left, we received his estimate, which was pretty much what we thought it would be given the number of trees, and their relative sizes and location in the yard. After we quickly accepted, Rodney and his crew came back out that same afternoon and efficiently took the trees down, removed all the debris, leaving not a scratch in the yard. He and his crew (especially Phyllis in the office) were courteous, respectful, professional and quite knowledgeable about the work. Rodney also gave us suggestions regarding a couple of trees which might become problems at some point. When that time comes, we will definitely be giving him calling to assist us once more with our troublesome trees.

Highly recommend this company, they are a reliable, honest, hardworking company and did an absolutely fantastic job. We had a handful of tress we wanted cut over our driveway and knew we need more cut because of disease. Rodney was very honest and walked our property and let us know what needed to come down for the safety of our house. His prices were so reasonable we went ahead and let him cut all of trees that he recommended because because of disease. All of the work was done in a very timely manner and left our property better then when the came. If you need tress cut use this company!!!

Rodney and his team were amazing. They showed up and Rodney clearly laid out the plan for the day. His crew worked hard and it was a wet rainy day. Rodney identified a few more at risk trees and sure enough they were infested with worms. Rodney cleared all the junk trees away and left the couple of Oak trees, his team also cut the Oak trees into manageable chunks to move around the yard easier. I would not hesitate to hire Rodney again, I highly recommend Rodney's Tree Service.

Rodney's Tree Service was awesome! They were on time, very professional, and did excellent quality work in a short amount of time! And Rodney is a great guy that cares deeply about pleasing his customers! We would absolutely use them again and will refer them to anyone that needs tree removal!

Rodney's Tree Service was easy to work with. They provided a quote within a few days. We had three trees removed. They did an excellent job and were very meticulous with cleaning up the area afterward. We appreciate their professionalism and will definitely use them in the future.

If your looking for old fashioned great service, Rodney's Tree Service is it! It is SO hard to find service like this these days. Someone actually answered the phone, listened to me, and responded with a solution the SAME day. Their pricing is fair and these are honest people. I had a huge down limb from an oak tree in my backyard; they gave me quote and provided the clean up /service the same day I called. Talk about quick! I would definitely use them again. If you need a tree removed, this is the company you want!

We had a very good experience with Rodney’s Tree Service. Communication was very quick and very responsive. We had an invoice same day and scheduled for removal within a few days of assessment. He did an excellent job with the tree removal. He was conscientious and careful in removal so as not to put ruts in the lawn or damage the surrounding area. Stump removal was very thorough. He put down topsoil and filled in/graded the area. His pricing beat competitors. He and his crew were very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend .

Edited to add- I would encourage them to find a different soul to put down to fill in any deficit. The soil put down is like concrete and we can get anything (even winter rye) to grow. We are still pleased with his service and would recommend but I would advise different soil to be put down

He did a great a great job. Had a very large dead pine close to the house. When he came and looked at it for the first time he thought it could come down in a storm, so came out the next day, a Saturday to get it taken care of ASAP. He dropped it in a very narrow spot between trees perfectly.

Rodney was on time, dependable, easy to communicate with, efficient, friendly and so much more. I would recommend him 100 times over, he is even coming back to do more work on my property. Absolute pleasure to work with both him and his wife, Phyllis, did exactly what we asked for and it turned out even better than we could have imagined.

We had an excellent experience with Rodney's Tree Service having 2 large trees removed from our front yard. The crew worked swiftly and efficiently, and the end result was a smooth and clear yard that is seeded for grass to grow. Ms. Phyllis was exceptionally prompt at responding and professional as well as extremely personable. She even brought us flowers knowing we were expecting a baby soon. We also appreciated that they were able to come ahead of our scheduled date. Definitely recommend!

I had to have several large trees removed and several more trees pruned in the Fall of 2021. After meeting for the estimate, I felt Phyllis and Rodney were a solid choice for the work. They were prompt, reasonable, and professional. Rodney and his crew were respectful of my property as well as my neighbors’ properties, while working. Rodney's Tree Service did an outstanding job for us removing 3 large pine trees from our front yard. These trees were removed with a minimum of damage to our yard using precision cuts to drop them. The crew meticulously cleaned up the work area after they were done so much so that our yard looked cleaner after they finished with it than it had before they started removing the trees. The stumps were also ground down and the area raked/smoothed over to the point where you could hardly tell where the trees had been. All of this was done for a very fair price. In the office Phyllis always was available to quickly get back to us on any questions/concerns we might have. We'd highly recommend Rodney's for anyone looking to have trees/stumps removed from their yard.

This is the second time I’ve used Rodney’s Tree Service. Rodney and his crew did a fantastic job removing a couple trees and grinding some stumps in my yard.

Aside from the tree service they performed, Rodney took great care to make sure his equipment wouldn’t damage my driveway. He and his team leveled the area where they were working and even fixed a spot near the road where a truck (not one of Rodney’s crew) left some ruts in the grass.

I wouldn’t hesitate to call on Rodney again for future tree removal. Great work, great crew, great company!

We used Rodney's Tree Service a year ago and again several months ago. Both times we were very happy with the service. He was able to take down a large oak tree in front of our house that we didn't realize was dying and posed a danger from high winds. He and his wife, Phyllis are good folks who are reliable and fair. We will call them again when we need more tree work.

Needed several large pine trees that were pretty close to both my house and my neighbor’s house removed.

Rodney’s Tree Service was able to meet with me and my neighbor in person and provided a next day written work estimate. The tree work was scheduled within the next week. The team arrived as scheduled and professionally cut and removed the pines and cleaned site on same day.

If anyone is looking for tree service I highly recommend Rodney’s Tree service. They did great work and in a timely fashion. I had a question about the work they did and the work was fixed right on the spot. Rodney the owner is onsite while the work is done. He made sure I was happy with all the work they did.

I have used Rodney's Tree service twice in the last few years and am very happy with the service they provide. Fast turnaround times on estimates, and great customer service! They took out two large River Birch trees next to my driveway recently and they ground the stumps, regraded the slope and ditch next to my driveway, and cleaned up all the debris . You would never know that the trees used to be there. These folks know what they are doing! I highly recommend their service.
