Ramsey of Carolina Comfort Air did a great job checking out my system and making the necessary adjustments to make my system more efficient. He also connected my system to WiFi and patiently explained how I could make needed adjustments. All of this was under my installation warranty, so I paid nothing.

Carolina Comfort Air is very professional and customer friendly. They were efficient and accommodating on scheduling the recurring maintenance visit. The technician assigned, Chance Davis, was terrific. He was quick and thorough. He solved a noise problem we have had for several years with creativity and minimal cost. I couldn't be happier with Chance and Carolina Comfort Air. Thank you!

Dylan and Hassan and (Jerry, electrician) did an excellent job. Explained everything clearly, worked effectively and quickly. They were knowledgeable and Very respectful of my property and especially me. Cleaned up afterwards then checked and rechecked the work.

Ramsey came out to service our furnace after our heat suddenly stopped working the week of Christmas. He work was incredibly professional and we couldn't be happier having chosen Carolina Comfort Air after Ramsey helped resolve our issue. He clearly explained what was wrong with our unit in a way a first time home owner could understand, and I really appreciated the detail he went into on the work that was needed. We will absolutely be coming back to Carolina Comfort Air for any future issues with our HVAC system.

Today, I had a technician named Ramsey come out to diagnose the issue with my HVAC system and provide a repair estimate. He did a stellar job. Ramsey not only identified the problem quickly but also informed me that there was a leak in my system. I really appreciated how straightforward and honest he was when explaining both the repair estimate and the temporary “Band-Aid” fix option.

I decided to go with the full repair, the more expensive option, and I have no complaints at all. Ramsey was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to break down and explain each part of my system so I could fully understand what was going on.

I truly appreciate the service and professionalism he provided today. Five stars all the way!

Update: had the pleasure to work with him again and same as before stellar and 10/10 would definitely recommend!!! Ramsey is truly the best !

DO NOT RECOMMEND – Worst HVAC Experience Ever
I’m Jonathan Saavedra, and I just moved into my new home in Holly Springs with a +10-year-old HVAC system that needed to be replaced. After calling a few companies, I chose Carolina Comfort Air. The only good part? The sales process with Jose Sanchez—he was professional and helpful. That’s where the good ends.

I paid over $23,000 for a new Trane system. They promised a 2-day installation that took place on July 28th, and on day two, the technician Moises left saying the system would cool the house in 2–3 hours. It was over 90°F that week in late July. The system never cooled the house.
Since then, I’ve had over 6 different technicians come out. Turns out:
The wiring was wrong
The ducts config was inverted
The configuration was incorrect
Blown fuse during night, system death after day 2 from installation.
The NEW drain pan had to be replaced
The electrical cable wasn’t changed

It took until August 19th to finally get the system working. That’s several days without AC in brutal heat—with my family in the house.
I called many times asking to speak to a manager. The only manager who responded was Alexa, who promised to call back and never did. Every time I called, I was told a manager would call me. They never did.

I asked for compensation. NO ONE followed up. And yesterday, they tried to get me to sign a document saying they did preventive maintenance (which is supposed to happen after 6 months)—something I never requested.

Bottom line: Carolina Comfort Air’s technicians were not prepared, and the installation was full of mistakes. This was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

Save yourself the stress. Go with someone else.

I was highly impressed with the installers, Ryan and Hassan. Very courteous and efficient. The electrician, Jason knew exactly what to do, also he was very courteous and efficient. The supervisors, Barry, Nilous and Tomas completed the job with courteous professionalism. I am highly satisfied with the installers and the work they did.

I had Helder come out to do the routine service on my HVAC system in my home getting it ready for the winter. He was very helpful and knowledgeable with my system. He gave me some straight facts and helped me to understand the risks involved with my system. I would highly recommend this company and this technician!

I worked with Ms. Shawn in the weekend call center over 2x weekends and Donald Stepp was my tech. We had an emergency with no heat in cold weather and they went above and beyond to take care of my family and fixed the issue sooner than expected with kindness and made sure I understood everything. Thank you very much!!

Kenneth is extremely knowledgeable and gets the job done. We had a leak in our HVAC, heating strips not working and I’m sure many other things. He quickly diagnosed, had the parts ordered and was back to get the job done. He was polite, kind, and created a safe environment that was mindful of my home. 10/10! From the customer service, appointment line, parts department and of course the on site HVAC technicians! This is a company that prides themselves on how they take care of the customer and it showed.

Scheduled HVAC inspection and systems checked. Maintenance Technician found contact switch worn/corroded on outside unit; High risk for failure. Contact switch was removed & replaced. Chance Davis was very efficient carrying out the scheduled maintenance and replacement of the worn switch. Chance is an excellent representative of Carolina Comfort Air Inc.

Ramsey did a great job. He took care of the problem and taught us some pointers to better care for our HVAC system. I trust Carolina Comfort Air to send the best technicians that are caring and knowledgeable.

Contacted Carolina Comfort for an inspection and checkout of our 3 heat pumps. The service technician, Ramsay, let us know he was on his way and arrived on-time. The inspection was thorough including both the outside and air handler units. After the inspection, Ramsay gave a complete explanation of the inspection, findings and what was recommended for repairs.

We had a recent service call due to our heat not working upstairs, right before freezing cold weather and a winter storm. Ramsey came out and was very polite and professional as he diagnosed the issue. He was able to get things working again while we wait for a replacement part. Excellent service from Carolina Comfort Air and Ramsey.

Carolina Comfort Air replaced my 20-year-old Trane Packaged Heat Pump with a new Energy Efficient Trane system. The old leaky - improperly sized ducts were removed, some of the floor registers enlarged, and new ducts, boots, floor registers, etc was installed, in the crawl space of my older home. Everyone I encountered was prompt, professional, and courteous. Caleb Resendez did an outstanding job of laying out the project and following up with Q&A. Adam Summers & team exceeded my expectations for ductwork installation, in a cramped crawlspace. He is diligent, with attention to work detail, and an eye for doing the job right. He is a hard-working tradesman. Aaron the electrician also did a great job in system wiring.
When the crew left the jobsite daily, it was as clean as expected.
I would recommend this crew for any HVAC work.

Dylan B and Jon H installed a ventless heating and air unit for us. Their work was done with quality,efficiency and attention to detail. They took care to make sure that the jobsite was clean when finished and communicated to us throughout the entire process. A true job well done!!!

Tommy and Justin were both very professional and left the area neat & tidy after install. New unit remote was fully explained for A/C unit for our Elevator room.

We had an excellent experience with the Carolina Comfort Air crew from start to finish. Terry came out and met with me and really took his time and shared his vast knowledge and experience in evaluating the replacement of our dual Trane system that gave us 29 years of amazing service. Terry’s personable and expert consultation built solid confidence in me that we had found the right Trane dealer and the field crew lived up to the same standard.
Tommy and Justin were first to arrive. These guys are a powerhouse team, they really know how to divide and conquer—-Tommy in the rafters doing the air handler replacement and Justin on the ground setting the new upstairs unit. Fantastic job guys.
Ryan was next to arrive. Very good customer service and communication skills, he jumped right into action working on getting the old downstairs unit removed and the new unit down the hill over difficult terrain ready for install.
Aaron did the electrical portion of the job. Very friendly and professional, this guy knows his craft and works diligently at doing nothing but quality work.
Jon and Hassan were the crawl space team removing the old air handler and replacing it with the new Trane unit. Jon has excellent customer relation skills and both he and Hassan stay on task the entire time on site to get the job done well.
The site supervisor Kevin was there hands on tying all the efforts of the team together to get the whole project pushed out in one day, Kevin is friendly and soft spoken and leads his men by example. Amazing work guys. This crew worked for 12 hours in drizzle and rain outside on a 37 degree day and made it all come together, never losing their professional attitude and without cutting corners, pushing through and enduring the elements and bringing the project to a successful completion. Carolina Comfort Air is THE team you want for your heating and cooling system work, they deliver above and beyond. Thank you all for your dedication, commitment and hard work to complete a very big project with finesse in awful weather and over very challenging terrain.
