I want to take a moment to recognize Chad for the exceptional service he provided while servicing my heating system. From start to finish, Chad was respectful, courteous, and extremely professional. What truly stood out was how thorough he was—he took the time to explain why things needed to be fixed, what caused the breakdown, and how everything worked, which I really appreciated.
His customer service ethic is phenomenal, and his level of professionalism is truly top-tier. I felt informed, respected, and confident in the work being done. I would absolutely recommend Island Breeze and strongly encourage anyone using their services to request Chad specifically.

Ramsey did a great job, came out late on Saturday to find the issue. He found the issue very quickly.

To follow up, after Ramsey found the issue and the new part was ordered, Ramsey came out on time as scheduled. He completed the work timely and had the system back up and running quickly. We really appreciate this efforts in getting this done for us.

Terry & Deandre installed my upstairs system and worked continually throughout the day except for a lunch break. They made sure I had heat working before leaving for the night.

Update: Dylan & Jon just finished installing my downstairs system. They were thorough and took the time to make sure the job was done properly. Nice work.

Amazing service. I called them because I needed someone to take a look at our heat pump that was having issue and they were able to fit me in last minute for the next day. After they stopped by they called me to let me know what they did, what was wrong and what they recommend I do next. Then they sent me the information via email, very professional and contacted me through the whole process. Very satisfied with their service and will continue to use them.

Martin came out to repair our heating system. He performed a thorough cleaning of the system and replaced a part. Martin was very nice, experienced and professional. We were very pleased with our service.

Brian and Aubrey just completed our winter checkup. They were excellent! I highly recommend Comfort Air as a company and these two gentleman individually. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They took their time to be sure I understood everything about our systems. We are very pleased!

This company came to my home for the one year check on my newly built house. They sent someone who was not qualified to do the work. He shut off my gas stating there was a gas leak. He said he could not repair it and I would have to wait till the next day. It was a Friday evening and 36 degrees outside. I called another company who came out within the hour and found the gas valve unwired, set to off, and the input test screw filled with silicon. The new company cleared this out and found there is no leaks. They even cleaned up after the Carolina Comfort. There are 2 regulators which intermittently vent a small amount of gas which is normal. I do not recommend Carolina Comfort to anyone. They do not call their customers back. Their service tech was rude and yelling stating he was not going to jail for manslaughter. Unbelievable experience!

Brian was professional and respectful in our home during the HVAC scheduled maintenance appointment. He provided a thorough explanation of everything he checked and made sure our system was ready for the summer.

Mr. Smith was our technician! I'm giving four of five stars only because CCA was not able to get a technician to us yesterday as originally scheduled. But Mr Smith did a great job for us today! He took the time to explain the part of the system that was failing in a way that I could understand, "It's like the alternator in your car." He confirmed the cost of the replacement before getting permission to complete the repair. He was congenial, friendly, and someone I would enjoy getting to know better! I whole heartedly recommend our technician and his work!

This was our first time using this company to service our HVAC system. So far we like them. Making the appointment and connecting with someone was fast and simple. Our technician Martin was super friendly and very knowledgeable....he was on-time, actually early which worked out great. We like the annual price. There are some optional add on services, but no pressure. It has been an overall pleasant experience.

Aubrey was our technician and he was great. We are in a new construction home and this was our first maintenance/cleaning. He explained what he was going to do as well as explained a few things on how the system works. At our request he explained the benefits of a surge protector and we had one installed (we had this on our previous home). Aubrey was pleasant, well informed and had great patience in his explanations. Very happy with service.

I had a maintenance check up today and the Technician Nathan was so nice and friendly . He explained everything that he was doing to the HVAC system. He answered all of my questions and concerns. It was a pleasure speaking with him.

We recently had both units in our home replaced by Carolina Comfort and Air. They have been excellent to us, providing excellent service and recommendations. Our experience with the new units being installed was excellent. The process took 2 days (as explained). The team was professional. They were careful with the removal and installation. They took care of our property well, putting protective liners down and cleaning up well. We were very pleased with our experience and we are excited to use our new HVAC system.

What really stood out was how patient he was in explaining what he was doing and even showing me a few helpful tips for maintaining my system. In July of last year after obtaining 6 quotes from HVAC companies, we decided to use Carolina Comfort Air, who had recently acquired Joyner and Dickens in Sanford. CCA was not the cheapest or most expensive, falling in the middle. The sales representative was a strong reason for using CCA. Unfortunately, the installation was not smooth, requiring a substantial amount of effort on our part. I will add this was a change of location from where the existing system sat but things like, the new return in the ceiling was not centered, asking us to relocate plumbing then in the end that was not needed, there seemed to be a gap between who designed the system and the understanding of the installation team. Barely 5 months later the brand new Trane system started to emit a sound, where 3 teams of technicians came out, each contradicting what the last said, eventually settling on the idea that the brand new NEST thermostat had failed, but that was after the first 2 teams said it was not the thermostat. I still have not received the manuals required to register the system. In addition, I have contacted Duke Energy twice for our rebate, only to be informed the 1st time that CCA incorrectly filled out the form, and Now in Jan 2026 that CCA has failed to resubmit the form after I was ensured this would be corrected in November. The back office struggles to respond to customers. Essentially I now have spent 15k + the costs of other subcontractors, on a system that I am not confident in and have not received the benefit of the rebate to reduce the costs.
