Pilot light on fireplace would go out after 15 mins of use. Owens carefully took everything out, cleaned, and inspected, including vent. Determined the safety screw was bent so glass wasn’t sealing properly. They were professional, detailed, and great communication. Would use again.

A wind gust had blown the cap off of the chimney. The first company I called said they could do it as part of servicing my 2 fireplaces. They serviced the 2 fireplaces, charged a lot of money, then said they couldn’t put the cap on. They said they would need to make a new cap and install for $3,700.00. I then called Owens Chimney. They came out and quickly installed the original cap for $270.00. They also inspected the fireplaces and chimney at no additional cost.

Forest Rorie, tech for Owen’s Chimney, was professional in the performance of his work and courteous in the explanation of his work. Very thorough, to the point of making a suggestion for the cap of the chimney top and why I would recommend his work to family and friends.

Our home wasn’t built with a fireplace or any other accommodations for our wood stove. Owens actually came out to give us an on-site evaluation and then later in the day sent us an estimate that was itemized and very detailed via email. The price was very reasonable, to me, for our install. As a special note here, I used to help do installs, cleanings for another company, I was well versed in what needed to happen for our install to go smoothly. The technicians are very respectful, professional, clean and caring. This went a long way with me. Our install was done in 2019 in a new construction multistory home. Flawless. We continue to have Owens Chimney return every season to clean/service our chimney as well as our dryer vent system. It is money(an investment) well spent. Semper Fi!

We had our two gas fireplaces serviced (cleaned/inspected) and our dryer vent cleaned by Hunter. He was on time, friendly and professional. Owens Chimney has been servicing our wood stove, insert, and chimney for many years now. They are always prompt, professional, and thorough with their cleaning and inspection, and they show photos to back up any concerns they have that may require repair.

We love them and will use them as long as we're building fires. We are heavy users in cooler months, usually having daily fires for 6 months +.

Let me say that I was thoroughly impressed by Owens Chimney Cleaning. I have used other companies in the past for chimney cleaning and nothing has come close to the job I feel was done by this company. This had to be the most detailed chimney cleaning I have seen. The technician was at my house on time and the company provided great communication before and after the visit. The cleaning and inspection took over 2 hours, in the past it was probably completed in less than 45 minutes. You get what you pay for with Owens. The technician thoroughly cleaned and inspected the entire chimney from the bottom to the top, both inside and from the roof. I was provided with a very detailed report following the cleaning along with suggestions to make the fireplace and chimney safer. Working in the fire service I can’t tell you enough how important it is to have this done annually and correctly. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for a proper cleaning and inspection!

They provide an extensive inspection report which is worth the money to know the structure and condition of your chimney. They offer solutions and choices for repairs and explain the options.
