I was very pleased with Quality plumbing. The service technicians arrived when they said they would. They took pictures of everything they did and took time to explain what they were doing. Both technicians were polite and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Quality . The service was top notch. W. H. Burnette.

Brandon did an outstanding job with my septic. He solved a big problem I had and explained me how we can prevent it. They also offered me a free inspection of my tank since I’m new in the septic and well world.

We had the team come out because we had brown water. Not only were they quick to fix our issue by installing a filtration system, but they also detected several gas leaks in our lines we were unaware of that they also were happy to fix for us. Hunter and Michael were super kind and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them enough.

Alex did an awesome job re-plumbing our yurt—not your traditional home plumbing job! So I can say without a doubt that Quality Service Today and their staff can flex to any type of job. Alex was thorough and also helped me understand the work done, the operation and maintenance I should know about, and also gave some great advice for future work we might need.

Absolutely great experience! I needed my septic tank pumped out in a hurry because I needed to go out of town and I didn't want to leave my family with a big problem. Quality Service showed up quickly, did an excellent job and explained everything clearly and cost upfront before any work started. Highly recommend!

I was very happy with the service that I received. I called and they were able to come the same day to pump my septic tank. Brandon and Kenneth both did an excellent job.

QST continues to set the bar ridiculously high. Michael did my 65-point inspection and made it look effortless. My house passed with a gold star, but Michael earned platinum status. If plumbing had a fan club, I’d be president. Smart, thorough, and genuinely kind. At this point, QST feels less like a plumbing company and more like family but the reliable kind that actually shows up in times of need. Bravo!

Neil and Kenneth both did an amazing job for me. They went above and beyond in explaining to me what they were doing and why. They offered suggestions on what I could do to extend the life of my septic system. They arrived on time and did a thorough job in record time. I am very satisfied with the job they did and also how they carried themselves while here. Much thanks to both of them.

Neal and Your company. Met and exceeded my expectations. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He definitely increased my base of knowledge and understanding of Septic Systems. Neal made me feel like I was an important costumer. His actions has sufficiently motivated me. To recommend your company to future costumers.

We’ve used quality service for years and have always been impressed. This time our Technician was Blake and he was awesome! He came out in a timely manner, patiently worked with us while we figured out the financial aspects, then made us a priority and worked fast and got us water back way quicker than I thought possible. I don’t post a lot of reviews but I had to share this great experience and I definitely recommend quality service and we’ll be using them in the future for any plumbing needs!

Nampier was a blessing! While visiting my aging parents, I called for support changing out their new gas stove. From the initial phone call, I was pleased with the professional handling. Then we met our dedicated service technician, Nampier, and he brought instant relief. He was kind, knowledgeable and thorough. We appreciated the handling so much that I bought the membership plan for my parents for peace of mind when I’m not here. What could have been a stressful situation otherwise, I’m grateful to experience such human kindness with these professional services.

Nice meeting Kenneth, cool dude, did a great job, fun to talk with. The price more than doubled from the advertised initial cost with the standard nessary add ons. Not sure if this is a new industry standard, but it sure was a shock. ...And I even did the digging and cover up.

I would give more than five stars for the service provided by Charlie Smith. He quickly identified the problem and walked through all the options available to resolve with the pros and cons of each. I was able to make a decision that worked for my specific needs. The quality of his work speaks for itself as the problem was resolved. He also went above and beyond by working over 12 hours straight to get the job done. He truly understood how much this problem was impacting me and took customer service to the next level. I am a very happy customer and grateful to have found someone who exemplified integrity, a high degree of technical knowledge and skills, and exceptional customer service.

Charley was great, very knowledgeable and gave me a first class education on septic systems. Then he gave me sticker shock with estimate. At the time of this post we haven’t decided what to do. We are reaching out to our builder to see if he is willing to fix the poor quality of workmanship before we decide.

We first hired QST last fall for a tricky well issue, and Hunter was our specialist. He was kind, humble, and exceptionally knowledgeable, one of those rare people who’s both deeply skilled and genuinely passionate about the craftsmanship of his trade. His attention to detail isn’t fussy; rather, it reflects that he enjoys the work as a form of art and not just a means to a paycheck. I kept (a little annoyingly) requesting him for future appointments because it’s honestly rare to meet someone so openly nerdy about (and so good at) what they do.
Today we had a separate concern with our septic system, and Charlie Smith came out. Whatever QST does to cultivate their team, it’s working, because Charlie and Hunter are cut from the same cloth: they blend deep technical knowledge, clear communication, and genuine kindness. When they explain things, it doesn’t feel like I’m the target of a sales pitch or being talked down to. They’re actually really interesting and energizing to talk to about plumbing… like i may or may not have considered whether I took the wrong career path because they are so fun to talk to…?
Both Charlie and Hunter also train others at QST. As a pedagogy nerd, this is one thing that will keep me coming back to this company. They both possess knowledge about how people learn, and are calm, patient people. Charlie even mentioned a definition of humility that is going to stick with me: understanding that there’s always more to learn. I would say a prerequisite to that belief is a deep commitment to curiosity, which is a really special quality in a seasoned tradesperson.
QST isn’t cheap, but they also don’t cut corners or take advantage. For example, when Hunter was here working on our well system, he noticed our propane pipe wasn’t painted according to code and just quietly fixed it. He didn’t have to; he just did.
We originally contacted QST because we needed someone who services wells in Orange County. Now we’ll be turning to them in Durham too, even though we’re on city water and sewer here. And for anyone with older or historic homes: Hunter loves old houses and has real experience with it, which is a huge plus for us.
We’re very grateful and genuinely happy customers! Big thanks to Hunter and Charlie for converting us to QST fans. -
Napier was very prompt and professional, especially since we had a rather nebulous issue with our upstairs shower leaking a small amount of water onto the ceiling below. From the outside, there were some possibilities, but nothing definitive. We really weren't looking forward to tearing up the downstairs ceiling yet again, as this had been a recurring issue over our 7 year occupancy in our house.
Nampier made the excellent (and obvious in hindsight) suggestion to install an access panel in the downstairs ceiling so it will be much easier to diagnose problems in the future. Nampier did an excellent job cutting the ceiling and installing the panel and then he was able to diagnose where the water was coming from. It was actually two different leaks, which only became apparent after fixing the first one. The first problem was that sometime in the past someone chose to glue together two 90 degree elbows instead of putting in a proper trap. Inevitably that joint was going to fail and it did. It didn't leak much, but enough over time to damage the ceiling. That would have been undetectable without opening the ceiling and having an expert looking at it. In addition, after that was fixed, another leak showed up in the drain pipe joint itself, which is going to take some reconstruction of the tiled shower upstairs. Again, the extent won't be known until we get a tile person to expose the drain, but because of Nampier's diligence and expertise, we can get it fixed the right way. -
THIS COMPANY WORKS ON TINY HOMES ON WHEELS!!!!
The scheduling was efficient and courteous, Blake arrived on time and did a GREAT job for an absolutely reasonable price. Some sediment and a rock from the community well malfunctioning got into the piping for the kitchen faucet in my tiny house.
He took everything apart with care, did some extra cleaning of a second filter (Moen gooseneck faucet), and put it back together meticulously. He also explained carefully what he was doing. I have scar tissue from brain cancer and a small stroke, and he was clear and patient enough for even me to understand. He is a very kind man, and also living proof that tradespeople are some of the smartest on the planet. GREAT conversation.
I’m determined to learn how to do this myself, but haven’t had time yet, and Blake rode to the rescue! I definitely won’t give up on turning the joint to reconnect the external water filter again, lol. -
Excellent service, from beginning to end.
Hunter made great reads early on about how the system should work and gave a fair quote.
And the installers, Coleman and Tyler, were friendly and very strong on how to beautifully install the system.
I couldn’t be more happy with my hot water ;) -
Omg…My experience with Alex the technician was Awesome!! Thanks Alex for being patient & resourceful with your knowledge referencing my options available with my hot water heater. In addition to providing me my options he actually provided photos of the things that were in question while taking time to explain all areas of concern. Everything I needed was done the day of the service call with no hesitation. Although I was stressed about the situation,Quality Service Today most definitely lived up to their company’s name. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs . Thanks again for your excellent service!!!!!
And thanks Alex for being so easy to talk to. Shout out to the office staff for making sure I was taken care of in a great time frame. A local business that cares about their customers… I will continue to use them for any future plumbing needs. -

Ivey Plumbing is incredible! I had called several plumbers to repair a leaky hot water faucet in my tub and only Mr. Ivey was able to get to me on the same day. He fixed the problem quickly and the price was very fair. I highly recommend him and will call again if I have another issue!
