A local to FV, I have brought a number of items to Ace. They have dry cleaned many items and even replaced a cheap zipper on one of my favorite jackets. Their turn-around time is amazing. Glad to have them in town.

I have been going to Ace Dry Cleaners for over a year ever since my previous dry cleaner closed for business due to covid. I'm really glad I found this place! Service is top notch and have never had any issues with missing items or a bad cleaning. The owner works on premise and is dedicated to providing a quality product at the best value in the area. We need more businesses like this with this level of service in Fuquay!

The owner contacted me immediately. He was very gracious and asked me to further explain what occurred. I did and met him at the store this morning.

His tailor had determined that he could resolve the problem and get the zipper to work without replacing it. Much better than having to remove and replace the zipper. The tailor departed on vacation and the communication of his decision was lost in transit. It happens. The price to replace the zipper is much less and I was credited the appropriate amount.

I am happy with the result. The owner seems to be a man of good character. Someone with whom I would like to continue to do business. I took more shirts to be laundered today and will continue to do business with Ace Cry Cleaners in Fuquay Varina NC.

Problem solved. I made a new friend and found a new dry cleaner!

I paid $32 to have the zipper replaced and another $15 to dry clean a coat. The coat is clean and the zipper works but it is the same zipper slide and zipper stop with the same corrosion that was there when I bought it in.

The employee said they replaced the tapa and teeth but not sure how they did that if the zipper stop is the same and if they had a new zipper, why isn’t everything new?

I think they cleaned it up really well and got the existing zipper to work but I paid for a new zipper. You can still see the corrosion residue on the zipper slide, zipper stop and the zipper!

I also had some shirts laundered. I asked for medium starch but the ticket says light/no starch. Shame on me for not checking before I left the store at drop off.

Just moved to Fuquay Varina and looking for a dry cleaner. Ace will not make the cut. They didn’t do what I paid for in one instance and they didn’t do what I asked for in the other instance.

The place is conveniently located and very clean. The staff is pleasant and polite.

Troy is so nice and helpful
They were able to get a very difficult stain out of my dress.

I had 2 jackets altered and both came back perfect. Troy was exceptionally helpful and even plays some awesome jazz while you wait.

Omg!!! I absolutely love this cleaners. They did a rush press on my dress. My dress has a lot of material that was very wrinkled & they removed every wrinkle 😃. Oh & did I mention the price was very fair.

Ive been trusting Ace to dryclean my husband's suits and dress shirts for likely a decade or more. They are timely and affordable. The owner is always friendly and happy to see me, and I always enjoy our chats. Great business, great people.

What a tremendous DISAPPOINTMENT! I decided to try Ace Dry Cleaners for their alteration service. I just moved to Angier from Raleigh and I thought I would give them a try because I work in Fuquay. I should’ve known something was up when I went to take the pants in, and there was no tailor there to do the adjustments, but I thought I would try it anyway. I picked up the pants today and when I looked at them once I got home I was quite surprised to find a seam at the top of the cuff. I have been wearing quality trousers for many years and I have never seen or experience someone putting a seam through the cuff itself. It doesn’t even sit correctly on my shoe. I am highly disappointed, and I would never go back and if you are considering doing any type of alteration, don’t. I would rather drive to Raleigh to a tailor that I have come to trust over the years.

I have taken many items to have them cleaned, and have always been pleased with the results.

I have also had custom alterations done to my favorite jacket. It was a pleasant experience, and the team there was great to work with. They offered some great advice as to how we could work with such a difficult jacket. Any time they ran into a difficult situation; they contacted me directly to gain approval before continuing the work. I was very happy with the end result, and it was all don’t for a fair price. The stitching was done so well Icouldn’t even tell that the jacket was altered until I put it on. It fit like I wanted. I will definitely be bringing back more items to have fitted.

I had a lined jacket with a small stain near the lapel. When I had the jacket dry cleaned, I asked if they could get the stain out. When I picked it up, the stain was still there and a lighter color circle around it. Clearly, their stain removal was strong enough to discolor the jacket, but not enough to get the stain out, creating a bigger mess.

I’ve had several pieces dry cleaned without incident.

Alterations? - NEVER AGAIN! I took a pair of white, lined, dress pants to have the lower legs taken in and the length shortened. When I picked them up, they had used a bright pink marker to mark where to take it in and shorten it. The marker was very obvious from the knee to the bottom on the inside seam of WHITE pants. It was also obvious where they measured up for the length, but they TOP STITCHED OVER it. (WHO topstitches dress pants?!?). Because I am not a complainer, don’t like confrontation or a good ‘fight’, I took them home having paid $60 for the alterations when I paid just under $50 for the pants to begin with. I thought it only fair to future customers to post a review of my experience.
I hand washed them to get the pink marker out and I live with the slightly cream colored thread of the top stitching on white dress pants. (Once holes are put in a cloth like top stitching, it’s very difficult to take out the stitching and not have the holes still show, or I would take it out and blind stitch it myself.)
Alterations: Never again.

The owner was RUDE and un- business- like. He refused to launder a 100% Cotton shirt. Apparently his real motive was to Dry clean the shirt for which he charges substantially more. He lost a real customer...

Your ten + years have taught you nothing. The shirt label states clearly 100% Cotton.. P.S. the 2nd shirt also was 100%. You have No Excuse. Your manners need a great deal of polishing.
