Gary recently came and repaired a leak on our ac for us. He was very professional and friendly to work with and really cared that we had our issue resolved quickly. He fit us into his schedule and worked very late into the evening to make sure it got done. This was very much appreciated and not expected. Thank you so much Gary!

Holly Springs Heating & Air was awesome! We woke up today with the inside temps scorching! 82 degrees on the first floor, 84 degrees on the second floor, and 86 on the third. My partner and I both had to work from home today and due to my chronic health issues, the heat would have made it impossible. My partner did some troubleshooting with the help of a coworker and discovered we needed an HVAC tech asap! Sundays are usually tough to get help for anything home related but a quick google search and Holly Springs Heating & Air was open for business until 6PM! Within seconds of texting, the tech was responsive and assured me he would be at our property within the hour. He arrived as planned and was able to diagnose an issue with our contactor that should not have happened with a new unit - we have a new build as of Dec 2020. He had the part needed to be replaced readily available and got our HVAC system back up and running in no time! Personable, down to earth, and he'll be the first one we call for all of our HVAC maintenance and repairs. Being new homeowners and not having trustworthy and knowledgeable techs and contractors has been a common theme for almost 2 years but we were happy to finally get top notch customer service and quality work from Holly Springs Heating & Air. We will be repeat customers for sure!

Great company. I have used Holly Springs HVAC for over 11 years. The air handler is the original when the house was built and the compressors the original owners replaced in 07 and 08. We replaced the coils in the air handlers about 2 yrs. Ago and the systems work great.

Tim has been my AC repair go-to guy for years. He's quick to respond when it's urgent, regardless of the time of day or night. He's honest and a great technician.

I was without air from both of my units from early May until the middle of June. AHS sent two different contractors to assist with the problem: Comfort First & Island Breeze. Neither really assisted with the problem other than quoting ridiculous rates for Freon. One quote was more than $2500 out of pocket which was almost 1/2 the price to replace the unit that was 22 yrs old-didn’t make any sense! I was on the phone almost every day for a month without air and no satisfaction until I finally asked for the ticket to be closed and a new one opened with Holly Springs Heating & Air. It took 1 day to get both of my units working again with the expertise of Gary who was efficient and my out of pocket was most reasonable! I know that the units will need to be replaced soon, even paid someone from a company outside of the network to assess my situation and he
emphatically stated that my units needed to be replaced now -rusted out and sound like a Mac truck, but after Gary from Holly Springs, they are working for now.

I must say that I did get some assistance from AHS’s corporate office, and appreciated Amanda’s help.

We had a problem with our A/C unit and called in a warranty repair with our Home Warranty company, American Home Shield. They sent us Holly Springs Heating & Air Conditioning, Gary was our technician. I put in the claim on a Tuesday evening and HS Heating and Air came out on Friday, not the quickest response. He also showed up just after the time window specified by the home warranty company, first impression was not great. Once here, Gary did not think he could diagnose or repair the unit unless it had been running for a day or so, something I had never heard before from an A/C technician. I asked many questions about the unit condition, the status of the Freon, and where the water was coming from. He had answers for the Freon but not much else. While this is the first time I have used a Home warranty in a long while, I expect a qualified technician to come to my house on time and be able to diagnose the problem the same day. Furthermore, I expect a plan of action to solve the issues with our A/C unit. Neither had taken place during the initial visit. He set up a follow-on apt. for the next Monday, this time he barely arrived during the allotted window and I reminded him of the issues we had last Friday. He wiggled some pipes, took some insulation from my closet to push into a vent pipe of the A/C unit and confirmed that a GFCI outlet that powered the sump pump was tripped, something I would have expected him to notice during the first visit. While my A/C unit is working, I feel as if I did most of the diagnosing and Gary did not do much other than look over the unit and check the Freon. I can’t in good conscience recommend this company to anyone with Air Conditioning repair needs.

I have known & used this company for years. I would highly recommend. Gary was able to troubleshoot a problem caused by a different company on a brand new unit after that company just gave up trying to fix the problem. They installed a complete system in a 1920s farmhouse for me that still works like a champ 18 years later, without destroying the charm of the house. If you want someone you can trust to do a good job and not rip you off, go with Holly Springs Heating and Air. If you need a big company at a big price, this probably isn't the company for you.

Highly recommend! Great customer service and fair pricing. Called at 3:45 on a Sunday in August and he was at my house by 4:30 and the problem was fixed by 5:00. Texted the next day to check in and make sure everything was working. Will absolutely call him again!

Tim is great! He will be honest with and he shows up when he says he will. Also, if you want to hang out with him while he is working, you'll get some good conversation.

He went ABOVE and beyond when our AC went out over the weekend! Truly, such a life saver. Extremely professional, kind, and transparent. We really appreciated how he made sure to explain exactly what the issue was and did not oversell us whatsoever. He saved us a ton of money compared to the technician that came out the day before, and we could tell he knew his stuff. He will be our go-to technician from here on out. We so appreciate you!!

Our air went out in the middle of a Saturday night and the forecasted temps for that Sunday were going to be in the high 90s. I did a Google search and found Holly Springs Heating & Air. The owner was super nice and was at my house within a couple of hours (ON A SUNDAY!!!) and he repaired the A/C and it has been working perfectly ever since. The price was very reasonable. I would 100% recommend this company!

Tim was quick to come out and check out our AC unit same day (less than a handful of hours between our call and him arriving). He quickly identified the problem and while we ended up going with another company for the repair (we own a new build home so the builder covered the repair in full if we went with their preferred vendor) he was fantastic to work with. He checked up on our status while we waited on our builder’s repair company to handle everything and was well priced for diagnostics.

Needed AC fixed urgently on a very hot July day. He came out, completely the job very promptly restoring it to working condition and offered advice on its upkeep and maintenance. Above all he was very personable and affordable!

This guy is the man. Knows his stuff, he figured the problem out in minutes and had the part swapped in minutes. Very clean and polite. He also smelled amazing. He will be my go to guy from now on.

Here’s a little story about my summer of 2022– Early in the summer of 2022 the unit for the upstairs wasn’t working correctly so I called a Duke-Progress recommended AC repair company. The tech showed up and charged me $200 for a part he said would “fix” the issue, it did not. He came back nearly two weeks later stayed for 20 minutes and left without being able to fix let alone diagnose what was wrong. My new neighbors across the street happen to be getting a new AC unit installed by Ellis. I asked Ellis if he would be able to give me a diagnosis and he promptly stated he would be over when he was finished the neighbors instal. After Ellis and his assistant finished across the street they came over and found that my drain pan was filled due to a clogging drain pipe and then proceeded to wet vac the water out and put in two tablets that would clear the algae build up and with that the AC resumed working properly! Ellis had a customer for life now! Fast forward towards the beginning of august when my downstairs AC unit stopped working, I called Ellis and he set me up with the first available appointment. On that appointment Ellis found that there were several major problems with the unit and being a 2007 model I wasn’t surprised. He provided a very thorough inspection and estimate to replace the whole unit and all the other parts that go with installation of a whole new system. Ellis found me the best preforming system in my budget and offered a credit or cash option for payment. A week later the team showed up and installed my new AC system. Ellis was very knowledgeable about the unit and everything hvac for that matter. One of the most professional, understanding, hardworking young business owners I’ve have the honor of doing business with. If you value receiving quality work without feeling like you’re being taken advantage of— call ELLIS. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

We used E. Powell Heating and Air, LLC to install a hood vent in our kitchen as part of a renovation project. Ellis and his team are fantastic to work with. They show up on time, provide excellent service and are reasonably priced. Ellis even went above and beyond when the cutout for the vent unit was not quite large enough. He was willing to do some minor carpentry work to get the job done. Highly recommend!
