That came out to maintenance My fire place name was Daniel. He did an amazing job. He was very informative and very much an expert on my fireplace needs as well as my fire extinguishers and fire detectors. He comes highly recommended. He’s definitely an asset to the company.

If you are wanting "superb" workmanship Smoke Alert is your go to for gas logs, First, Chris visited and went over the details and pricing involved in purchasing gas logs. He offered safety features for my kitchen that I immediately implemented. When Jason, Jesse, and Miles arrived and saw the small firebox and all the large stones in our fireplace they took the time to formulate a plan. After a very long day of difficult work these men did what we had not anticipated. They had left every stone intact. No chips, no scraps, no cracks. Our fireplace presented multiple challenges and this team continued to deliver first class work throughout the entire process. Chris was always patiently available to answer questions and provide updates. The office staff was also available to help us and would get back to us if need be. Each of these men provided first class work. They take pride in their workmanship which is getting rarer to see in today's world. I highly recommend the First Alert team!

Justin and Ashton have made my home safer by removing/replacing my chimney, converting the open fireplace to a gas log remote start, and they executed with excellence my vision for the fireplace by installing stonework, cedar mantel and hearth which turned out even better than envisioned. Every day they were prompt, courteous, explained what activity was going to happen and did it, and cleaned up every day leaving my home without additional dust or any damage. Justin and Ashton’s authenticity and care about the project is evidence they are experts in their field of fire safety. Smoke Alert cleaned my dryer vent system and serviced the gas fireplace. Charlie was very professional and took the time to show us how to use the fireplace since we recently moved into our home. In addition, he checked the fire extinguishers and provided quotes on two issues that need to be addressed. I will definitely be using Smoke Alert again.

Great cleaning service. We had dryer, dryer vent, and stack cleaning performed. Job performed very professionally, and I got some good education on fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. Very valuable!

The Smoke Alert Team was great to work with, from making an appointment to completing the work. They were clear and upfront about the work and the pricing. The service technician who came out (Charlie) was professional, efficient, and cleaned up after he was done. We appreciated all of their work.

I hired Smoke Alert to come remove our old wood burning insert. We weren't ready to buy a new insert yet, but the old one was falling apart (original from 1980s) and causing our house to smell sooty. Craig, Miles, and Cole were able to remove it and add temporary foam up the flue (out of site) so that we could take our time picking out a new insert for installation. Really appreciate the level of service and the fact that they could remove it and clean out the box without causing any damage!

I had such great service when I had my dryer vent cleaned that I used Smoke Alert again for our gas fireplace. JACOB EVANS was beyond excellent!!!! Very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and also made recommendations for future service. I was very impressed by Jacob and will absolutely use Smoke Alert again.

This was such a comprehensive appointment. Not only did Brandon clean out the lint from our dryer vent, he replaced the broken bib and then proceeded to give me advice on our existing fire extinguishers, ie, when to replace them and where to place them in our home for the best advantage if we have a fire. I will be calling them again in the fall because they also clean and service gas fireplaces. BRANDON ROCKS!!!!!!!! Thank you so much.

Charlie was awesome! He inspected and cleaned our fireplace logs, remote switch box, and recommended a few safety items we had been intending to purchase. He was kind and professional and even said nice things about our pup which always scores points. I highly recommend Smoke Alert Home Fire Safety!

I contacted Smoke Alert after personally cleaning out my dryer's exhaust vents did nothing to reduce the 2-4 cycles required to effectively dry our clothes. I suspected that the vent further along the system in our condominium must have been clogged, and I was unable to do this myself.

Working with Smoke Alert was an excellent and painless experience. They were able to schedule me within a week of my call.

Their technician Charlie was extremely knowledgeable. He immediately identified that the exhaust vent I had installed for my dryer was not up to code, and replaced it that day. His installation of this new vent was exceptional - using properly rated duct tape to ensure no heat loss at the connection points. He then also performed the dryer vent cleaning service I had -- and thank goodness he did, as the vent was indeed clogged!

He then advised us on next steps to ensure the dryer vent dried correctly -- since it was so clogged that moisture was being absorbed and trapped from outdoors.

My wife and I are excited to see the efficiency gains in our dryer once the vent has had adequate time to dry out thoroughly.

It provides me additional reassurances that Smoke Alert is owned & operated by fire fighters. I have been fortunate enough to have learned a great deal about NFPA fire codes over the past two years as a part of my profession, and their adherence to the fire code and valuing safety over quick fixes speaks volumes to their business values and priorities. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with Charlie about the fire code recommendations/requirements for our dryer system.

I was not expecting anything other than our dryer issue being addressed, but I was happily surprised when Charlie pointed out that our smoke alarms seemed to be out of date -- and even happier when he suggested a model that would make our CO monitor taking up one of our valuable kitchen outlets obsolete.

I have absolutely no doubts or concerns about working with Smoke Alert Home Fire Safety again in the future, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the services they offer.

Jacob with Smoke Alert Raleigh was super helpful with our fireplace! We are completely renovating a 1960’s home in Cary, and had no clue what we were getting into with our fireplace. Jacob was super helpful in explaining the fire safety process, the items needed to bring our fireplace up to speed, and was very respectful of not only us as customers, but also of our home. Not only was he very knowledgeable of his job, but was also very personable as well, and was more than willing to let my wife and I watch the cleaning and inspection, so we could also have a better understanding as well.

Overall, 10/10, 5 out of 5 stars, great experience. Will definitely recommend Smoke Alert and Jacob for others around the area!

The service and professionalism from Charlie at Smoke Alert Home Fire Safety was fantastic! He was on time, kind, knowledgeable,answered our questions and walked us thru all the items we needed done. He worked on our fireplace and cleaned the dryer vent. He reviewed fire safety items with us as well which were good reminders to do. Charlie was great!

Charlie was friendly and speedy! Showed up when he said he would, in and out in less than an hour for a dryer vent cleaning, and didn't break the bank. Informative, pointed out a few extra steps we could take to be more fire safe but it didn't feel like he was trying to upsell me or scam me. I will use Smoke Alert again!
