Jake performed AC tune-up for me today and did a much better job than the Michael and Sons tech last year. He was more thorough and corrected a misdiagnosis of a refrigerant leak from last year. It was more expensive than Michael and Sons for a tune up but worth every penny more. Will be rebooking Modern Mech for tune ups and diagnostic in the future.

Jackson was timely, courteous and professional. He throughly checked and cleaned our AC, even offered to change our filters 😊 Really appreciated him going beyond expectations!

Modern Mechanical came highly recommended to us by 3 people. They replaced both our upstairs and downstairs Heating/AC systems. I cannot recommend Modern Mechanical enough. We were in a panic after another company came out to look at our furnace. That first company did a temporary "fix" that lasted less than 24 hours before the heat went out again. When they returned, they quoted us $3,600 to "fix" it, then recommended that we just replace our entire 7-year-old furnace.

Luckily, a coworker recommended Modern Mechanical. They fit us into their schedule the very next day. The difference was night and day. The technician, Jamie, arrived and identified the problem within 5 minutes. In less than 30 minutes, he not only fixed the current issue but also solved a problem that has plagued our system since we moved in. Cody came out first thing on a Saturday morning for the first scheduled service and cleaning check about 6 months post the installation of the new Train unit for my second floor of the house. Modern Mechanical included as part of this free first service my 24 year old Train unit for my basement and my -15 month old Goodman unit on my first floor to insure everything is operating appropriately. Cody spent about three hours going through all the systems and cleaning. Cody and Modern Mechanical did a great job.

Full system replacement is a tough pill to swallow. However, it can be made easier when working with the right people. Over all the years they have serviced our home I have never experienced anything but top notch communication and service. Give them a call, you’ll be impressed!

First service of a 3 year contract. Cody arrived on time, completed all the cleaning/maintenance quickly didn't try to upsell anything we didn't want. Very happy with the service and Cody was great.

Jackson, with Modern Mechanical residential service team, completed my HVAC system maintenance today and was very thorough on the two systems. He explained what he was doing & reviewed the results when complete. I very much appreciated him being considerate of our home (i.e. booties and turning out lights, etc in attic/crawl space). Jackson came out today to do service both of our units. He was very friendly and had great customer service. He provided a checklist of everything he did and did not try to upsell me on anything even though one of our units is original from 2004. He said it is still in working condition and heating properly. I truly appreciate Modern Mechanical and their staff who is always honest. We have had them out on a couple of occasions for issues we encountered and we did use their company to replace one of our units. We will 100% use them when it comes time to replace our other unit. I can't say enough good things about this company. Their honesty and not trying to just sell me something every time has earned my business. Thank you Jackson!

Jackson performed service on both of our gas furnaces, one that his company installed and one that another company installed 23 years ago. I watched as he checked out the older unit in the attic. I was surprised to see how many things he did and very efficiently. He was polite, very knowledgeable, and seemed to have all the tools and apps to ensure that the unit would continue to operate another 23 years (just kidding). I was was very satisfied and I am glad to be Modern Mechanical's customer.

Jackson called ahead to let me know he and Jack were on their way. They arrived on time and greeted me so kindly. Worked diligently and methodically, inspecting and cleaning my HVAC system for over an hour. They changed both filters, one needing a ladder to access! Checked every switch and my thermostat to ensure it was working properly. What a relief to know I have no worries this winter. I highly recommend Modern Mechanical! Absolute peace of mind!!!

I just had a new HVAC system installed (TRANE) and it is a very awesome system. All steps of the process were good. The sales engineer, Joe Anfuso took measurements of every room and found I needed an additonal air duct on my 2nd floor (yes builder Pulte does everything to a minimum). The Two-Stage Variable Speed furnance and Multi-Speed Air Conditioner are very high quality and run MUCH quieter than my old builder grade equipment. The installation was lead by Scott and Andrew who took care to protect my floors and keep everything neat. I ended up with a fantastic system. Supervisor Dean made on quick final adjustment and my home now heats up in cold mornings in less than 30 minutes. My old system took 2.5 hours. As a retired engineer I am impressed with the overall quality of the system, especially the new return and distribution plenum metal boxes. The whole assemby is very clean, neat, and runs like a top.

While I’m confident I would have gotten great service regardless of the technician I have been lucky to have Josh as my technician for the past 2 repairs. Couldn’t be happier with this company overall.

I got a call about a fan motor and capacitor being diagnosed as being out on a friends furnace.
"BE AWARE" - Capacitor - Cost $15.00 wholesale - Their cost $300.00 plus installation, Fan motor - Cost $145.00 wholesale - Their cost $1500.00 plus installation. This is not good business practices, just beware of the price markups!
