Recently moved to Modern Mechanical from another HVAC service provider. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Technician Jackson was enthusiastic and competent. He answered my questions clearly and concisely. 5 stars for first impressions - and thanks!

I was very happy with Cody came on time and was very pleasant! I have been with Modern Mechanical Air Conditioning for more than five years. I recommend them very highly! My son, my daughter, and my two neighbours also use modern mechanical and they are very happy with their services!

My Furnace quit working over night. Julio came out and thoroughly diagnosed our system.
Furnace was up and running the same day!

Cody did a great job. He was very professional, polite and thorough. I hope he's back for my next scheduled service.

Customer service was amazing! We had to have a completely new electrical meter and panel put in on a home built in 1917. They kept up with every detail, kept in touch, and made sure things were handled in a very timely manner!

Had my system checked up today. These guys are really great. I have peace of mind now that things are running smoothly and will continue to do so. The guys are always professional, efficient and offer good advice if needed. I highly recommend them for services.

We dealt with three members of the Modern team; Cheyenne, Heather and Todd. Each one of them were exceptional. Cheyenne answered the phone when I first called to learn more about their services. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. When I called back because I had another question, I asked for Cheyenne again. Heather answered the phone this time. Rather than just telling me, Cheyenne was helping another customer, Heather asked if she could help me. I was blown away because that hasn’t happened to me in quite some time. Heather was just as helpful, knowledgeable and friendly as Cheyenne. Todd came out to do our electrical inspection. He explained everything that he was doing patiently answered our questions and shared some great tips. Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had in quite some time.

Great company to work with! These guys do great work for a fair price. I’ve used them for hvac and now some electrical. Todd helped me get service for a kiln, and patiently answered my slew of questions. They are my go-to for whatever I can’t do.

Jackson did a phenomenal job servicing both units in my home for my maintenance plan. He was very professional, friendly and courteous, and explained everything he was doing. Todd came out to do electrical work for me. He did a fantastic job. Can't recommend them enough for the electrical work that they do. Todd came ready to do what he needed to do and not waste my time or my money but was thorough with everything that he did.

Jackson came out to do my biannual checkup service on my HVAC system, very personable. Very prompt. Had no problem when I asked questions answering them thoroughly can't recommend modern mechanical enough!

Cody was professional and an overall nice guy completing my winter maintenance on my HVAC. He answered my questions so I easily understood. I appreciated the effort by him and staff to get me back on the schedule after experiencing a power failure for my original appointment. Thanks for making this so easy.

Cannot recommend after 7 years as customer. Maintenance plan, repairs and entire HVaC from MM over that time. First issue, HVAC stops, MM is hours away, call competitor, they come diagnose and fix before MM calls back - $700 because MM tech let freon leak from test valve after last visit. Then MM does another maintenance check, leaves the breaker off, another $150 for someone else to fix. Techs are decent (but increasingly had no experience at all), font desk staff very nice, but leadership has no follow thru or care for customers, avoid at all costs.

UPDATE: You are correct, after 6 months I forgot a few details. Specifically a growing distrust of who serviced my house as they appeared to not know what they were doing. So the last two techs I didn't want fixing anything. So asked to finish up and defer. Then called someone else when found your error and fixed it, costing me hundreds. As for why I waited to hear from you, and I was busy. Why I posted, well where else would you like me to do, your sales can call me but you can't? I said no when they asked if I wanted to renew my maintenance plan of course.

We have happily used Modern Mechanical for our personal and rental properties for years. Always great service/products for HVAC needs.

This time we needed help with 5 electrical issues (yes maybe we waited a bit long). Todd came out and solved the issues. These were not HVAC issues- rather for lighting and wiring. Things to note:

Good communication. Someone will call you the day before to make sure you still want service. Then a text or call about 30 minutes before the technician arrives the next day.

We booked a 4-hour slot but things were less complicated and Todd finished in about an hour.

Gave me time to chat about another electrical topic of interest to me. All in all we got our stuff repaired and I learned a few things. (I can now do a couple things myself).

For today (September 18, 2025) I think the pricing was fair/reasonable. Oh and they tell you ahead of time what the rate is- so you can assess as the tech is working through the issue(s).

Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Quick response by Dylan who was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my heating system, and recommended the best immediate course of action to take, and the best means by which to save a few dollars on the service call.
I've dealth with a number of HVAC companies, but Modern Mechanical is obviously a step above the rest by their thorough examination and cleaning of all components relating to my issue. Dylan also listened carefully to the symptoms of the issue, and answered all my questions in easy-to-understand terms. I've now taken out an annual maintenance service contract with them to keep my A/C and heating systems running well.

We had a unit installed by this company in March 2024. We have had several great interactions since then in maintenance trips. We decided to renew our maintenance contract because of the thorough and kind service of the company. Yesterday Jackson handled our maintenance appointment. He was thorough, explained things to me without being condescending and was incredibly kind and respectful to everyone in the house including our dog.
