I absolutely cannot THANK Marvin Austin enough! My father-in-law accidentally backed into his garage door and he couldn’t get it closed. Marvin went and took care of it and was able to help! He is very polite and very helpful!!!!!!

Everyone from the company was very professional. They were on time each time they came to our house, they were very careful with our furniture, and they did excellent work. And the icing on the cake was that their pricing was very reasonable. We highly recommend them and we will definitely call them again.

I experienced a major flood in my downstairs area. I notified Southern Contracting Company about my emergency, they came out the next day with equipment and began extracting the water from my carpet, removed the drywall and wet insulation at the bottom of the wall. They were thorough in doing their job, they sprayed a solution on the inside of the wall to kill any mold that might try to grow. Brought in fans to dry the carpet. Great communication, Great work. Will use them in the future.

Cannot say enough good things about Greg Maxwell. The utmost professional who came on his own on a Sunday evening to help situate my house after a flood. He communicated well and went above and beyond to start the process of fixing the situation. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

Southern Contracting was a joy to work with. They were at my home the next day after I called about the damages to my home, after a grease fire. They were very transparent through the entire transaction, and didn’t miss a beat. They were able to work around my schedule and have all repairs done, and provide quality work, all within 3 weeks.

Southern Contracting renovated our entire kitchen and den this included moving walls, opening four doorways and making 3 different flooring materials all come together to match hardwoods in the dining & living rooms. Suffice this was an extensive renovation. Dan Clark the GC/Project manager was always responsive to our calls and concerns. Regardless of time or day he always returned our calls. The crew he had was knowledgeable, helpful, and comfortable to have around (although we did have to move out during the work). The house was taken down to the studs in the kitchen and den which flow together. Our home is an older home that has been added onto several times albeit not very well over the years thus we ended up finding structural concerns during the demolition. We found the ceiling in the den was not properly supported and the band (the board that sits on the foundation) in the kitchen had termite damage and a plethora of electrical concerns. Those were unanticipated issues and not in the scope of original quote. Dan was great about explaining what had to be done to fix the problem areas and bring to code. We felt reasonable about the increased cost. He and his team were easy to deal with and just very helpful in all kinds of ways when things went a little sideways. When we had things come up we were able to talk them out and Dan always worked to find a solution to take care of things to our satisfaction. You can't ask for more than that. The biggest and best thing is that we absolutely love the end product. We had a very small kitchen area and a very strange long bathroom in the middle of the kitchen/den area. It is all opened up now and much more functional and just beautiful! We had a very small punch list at the end of the job, and I believe that is because Dan kept an eye on things as the job was finishing up to make sure the fine details were done. We are thrilled with the results and feel so good about the renovation process and the new kitchen, den, powder room etc. thanks to Dan Clark and his crews! They did an outstanding job on what turned out not an easy one because of twists and turns but it all was worth it in the end.

The team at Southern Contracting was very professional and easy to work with. They are very responsive, priced well, and the team that came to my house was very respectful and friendly. Home repair work was amazing, A+. Had repair work completed quickly and maintained attention to detail. Would have them back for future work.

Hired Southern Contracting to handle our bathroom remodel. They were able to come out within 72 hours to do initial consult and discuss remodel plans.

Work started within the next week and words can’t describe how amazing everything turned out, from the drywall texture and paint to the new tile work on the lower half of the walls. They custom built a new shower stall with a 4 inch step-down and shower floor and walls done in stone tile to match the stone tile installed on the bathtub walls. New ceramic bathtub with new faucet fixture and new custom vanity was installed as well. The whole thing looks incredible. They definitely exceeded my expectations.

I can’t recommend these people enough! Joe was especially great to work with. Seriously, don’t hire anyone else. This is the company you want.

Dan's team was fantastic. Although there were substantial delays at some points of the remodel due to staff shortages and supply chain issues, Dan remained in constant communication with us. The quality of work is fantastic. The professionalism of Dan and all of his team were beyond expectations.

After recovering from the extreme wetness of a water leak that effected my kitchen, living room, dining room, and basement, Southern Contracting was my life/house saver. Worked with them to get my house back in order and I can't be any happier with the end result. They were very good in describing what was being done, helping me make the best decisions to suit my wants and needs, and recommending a flooring vendor that I continue to use even after the house was fixed.
Safe, clean, and careful all through the process. Just great folks to work with. Even recommended ideas I needed to discuss further with my insurance company that resulted in positive adjustments for me.

We had 2 insurance claims from water damage recently and the team that came out for the first claim was excellent. They respected our property, cleaned up afterwards and didn't rush through the repair. The guy who put the dishwasher back in place did a better job than the installer when we first bought the dishwasher! The drywall/ceiling repair and painting guys were very professional. Even the scheduler did a great job of keeping us informed which (being a GC myself) is so important when working in/on people's homes. I'm looking forward them also doing the second claim repairs.

They did a terrific job with the remediation of my build from flooding from Helene. They worked hard and charged a fair price. I would definitely recommend them and will turn to them again should I need help in the future.
