Drew,kevin,ashley and carl were spot on.we had several electrical problems and they fixed them all.very friendly,courteous and did a great job,they also cleaned everything up,which was nice.

Call pops to com out and give me a estimate on a switch from the electrical panel to hook up a generator.
I don’t remember the ‘gentleman’s’ name but he was not very professional and I never heard anything back. He was suppose to be giving me a quote for installing a switch panel.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.

fast and reliable pops is considered elites in the industry they where able to send out an electrician who was knowledgeable of his trade and helped me to save money while giving me quality work at an affordable price would consider using them again any day and referencing for friends who need electrical attention

I called because I needed an outlet put in. The electrician told me he would have to cut part of my wall out and I would have to get new sheetrock put in. No thank you. Have it now with NO wall missing. Charged me $120. I do not consider cutting out my wall and leaving it like that professional.

Tommy from Pop's Electric installed a bathroom exhaust fan ,and he was as nice and professional ,prompt and tidy as if he was working on his own home! I was so pleased, I will recommend them to all my friends too.. Since it was a Saturday am appointment,I learned Tommy was the Service Manager on weekdays,proves they are dedicated tp good service.

Kevin and Carl did an excellent job. Both of them are very skilled and even more important, they are very friendly and easy to work with. They are a great duo.

I gave 1 star because you have to. If they cheat their employees, I'm certain they're cheating their customers. I had to call up and go off about my husbands check. They are DEFINITELY doing some ILLEGAL manipulations when it comes to calculating hours so that they don't have to dish out the overtime pay the employees are working for. They ALSO make employees pay out of pocket for damage resulting from normal course of business (i.e. a bulb gets dropped during installation). Those expenses are covered under insurance, and are NOT to be taken from an employee, unless they MALICIOUSLY destroyed company property (i.e. threw materials, tools, etc out a window). Wouldn't recommend anyone working there or hiring them. Any company that cheats and steals from its employees doesn't deserve to be in business.

UPDATE: Since the owner made his little comments, allow me to expound: SEVERAL employees told me that they have ALSO had problems with their hours in the past, that they are made to pay out-of-pocket for material damaged in the course of doing business (NOT through negligence), and I had to THREATEN to involve our lawyers AND had to quote the NC Labor Law concerning hour calculations and overtime pay to the secretary, because she was really trying to tell me that is LEGAL for them to siphon hours from overtime to fill out a week with less than 40 hours. SO TRY AGAIN, BOO-BOO! My "sources" are YOUR EMPLOYEES!! #NowCommentOnThat

I contacted Pops Electric to have my existing light fixtures changed out with new, trending fixtures. When they came in, they were in and out in under two hours. Pops Electric has fair prices take their work seriously.

Have you called an electrician, scheduled them only to learn they don't show? That is NOT POPS Electric - they were here exactly when they said, did the work in the amount of time they said and the estimate was right on target. Extremely professional and thorough. Would highly recommend them for YOUR next electrical need!

I was driving on high cone road about 845 am on Tuesday 10.4.22. I was merging onto a one lane road. I noticed that a
Pop's Electric LLC truck was next me and refused to let me over. The driver looked over at me and continued to block me from merging. I almost ran off the road and had an accident. Luckily it was a small patch of space between me and a telephone pole. I was able to slam on breaks and not hit anyone or anything.

I would think twice before using this company based on the driver of the truck's decision. It was plenty of space for us both, the driver decided nobody's else's life matters besides his. Last four of the license plate is 1576 so that you can identify your driver.

I called pops because I had seen their trucks around town and they had good reviews. I was having an issue with the power upstairs in my townhouse. The first electrician that came didn't have a clue, so he called for back up. So after 5 hours neither one of them could figure it out. I was told the wires ran under the flooring in the attic and they couldn't trace them. After they left I went up in the attic and saw the wires running to each junction box, which they had looked in and left open. The only place where the wires were covered by floor was a small board at the entrance to the attic. I was able to pull it up by hand. I got my brother to come look as he does have some electrical training and he immediately found crimped wires in one of the junction boxes that they had looked in. He cut out the bad wires and reattached them and the problem is fixed. It took less than an hour. Pops might be ok for replacing recepticals or switches but I wouldn't use them for anything more complicated.

I came home late in the evening only to notice the power in parts of my home was out. Unable to locate the issue, I called another electrical companies 24/7 number, only to get their answering service. I left a message and awaited for someone to call me back. After almost an hour with no answer, I called POPS. I was surprised to find that the owner Greg answered and assured me that he would have his staff contact me to resolve the issue. In less than 5 min. I received a call from Tommy who was in the grocery store with his family but took time to call me and sent one of his "True Professionals" Karl. Karl was on my door step and ready to help. He found the issue in less than 10mins and secured the loose connections. I was truly blown away knowing that a company still exist today that really puts its customers safety first. My wife came home to find the power on and I was standing there with a smile on my face. I will rest well tonight knowing that I have found a team and friend in the staff of PROFESSIONALS at POPS! They POP into action so your electrical wires don't.

These guys are AWESOME! We had a problem that required the main breaker box to be replaced and was originally told it would be 3 days but they were able to get us worked in earlier and the repairs were done for a very good price. I highly recommend Pops and will be using them for my electrician needs in the future to!

The outlet is in, but the remaining holes in the previously perfectly finished walls is very poor customer service and craftmanship for this specific work order. Being that your business does not repair walls it seems that you would not damage areas that you do not service.

Then to quote one price before service and double that on day of service raises the concern of trustworhiness and integrity.

I wish you the best going forward, but we expected a better service than received while attempting to support your local business.

Just wanted to really thank the two electricians (Asdrubal, and Manny) that came to my property and did the upmost amazing and thorough job. Super professional and very helpful. Could not be more thankful. Our outlet almost burnt the house down and they came in and fixed/replaced the problem. They even installed my ring flood light without no problems. So many other electricians said it would be too hard since we didnt have an existing flood light. DID IT IN LESS THAN 30 minutes. They knew what they were doing and got the job done. Cant be more thankful for them. They can literally within the hour of my calling. So amazing cant be more thankful. Fast, efficient, trustworthy, the two men are both great electricians. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I am in the middle of the road with their service. The customer service is great, the prices are within reason, I have an electrical issue in the house and 4 different contractors with 4 different issues so they say have not been completely resolved. The contractors seemed very thorough, however the issue is being solved in pieces. I'm going to wait and see after almost $1000.00 it should be resolved. IJS Ok.
Update...April 5 2021 The issue was resolved. I understand I have an old system so I can't fault POPS. I appreciate the service the company delivers so we definitely will use them again, I think I will request the same guy if its possible to come out, this way He/She can know for sure what is taking place. Always professional and great guys that come to the house..I have used them several times and will continue!!

I can't say enough about Gregorio and Manuel. They came out when dispatch said they were going to be there. They stayed for 11.5 hours straight to help us after a fire at my home. I just can't say enough good thing. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and committed to doing a good job. Inspector came out and it passed with no issues. Would definitely use them again.

We needed our 100 amp breaker box upgraded to a 200 amp breaker box. The team that came out to do the work was professional efficient and did quality work. We compared their price with other companies by getting additional quotes and we feel really good about the price and the quality of work.
