Drew was here to fix the receptical for my stove. I had a quote from another company that was an exorbitant amount of money. Balex charged me a most reasonable amount!! Thank you so much you guys are great!!

I called Balex on a Monday for help with some outdoor outlets that weren't working and got a quick Wednesday appointment. Mike and Marcellus showed up on time and quickly identified and fixed the problem. They were extremely professional, explained everything to me in a simple way, and also gave me some good information from the inspection they did as a part of their service fee. They cleaned up after themselves and respected my home by covering their shoes any time they came inside.

I also noticed that they took an extra second to replace a missing screw on one of my outside outlets that they were working with. Maybe a small detail but very meaningful to a homeowner to see that level of care. I would definitely recommend Balex and would use them again in the future if/when needed.

We could not have had a better experience with Scott, Tony, Betty and Noel. We were in a time crunch and Scott had a technician at our home the day we called. Additionally, the cost of their service was far less than we expected. If anyone wants a recommendation to have a home EV charger installed, Balex Electrical should be their choice.

We had a large tree come down and ripped our electrical boxes off the house. Balex's team came out, worked hard, and got it all fixed and we now have power again. We highly recommend them. Great service, and workmanship! Scott and his team are very responsive by phone and when doing the job. They informed me from scheduling and gathering parts to on the job problem solving and stages of completion. The install staff was friendly and very, very respectful of the house: they wore booties to protect the floors, moved furniture and put back exactly, informed me of drywall dust from working and vacuumed as they worked so I really did not see any cleanup needed. They were methodical with finding and solving my problem and were highly professional and worked hard through to completion. I recommend Balex to anyone with a household need, unequivocally!

We had a great experience with the Balex team when they remodeled our kitchen. They were on time, efficient, worked hard to get the job done and were very professional. They also asked for my input for some of the specific lighting fixtures so they would be to my liking. I would recommend Balex without hesitation to anyone small job or large. Derek and Liz were awesome!!! They were so knowledgeable, friendly, and did an incredible job! I enjoyed having them in my home today, they were very professional. I am working remotely and had some important calls and video calls. They were careful to tiptoe around and whisper during those times. They had excellent communication and shared what they were doing and in what order. Best of all, they got along well with my dog Luke! He adores them and it means a lot to me that he could be out and about instead of having to keep him closed up in a room all day.

I absolutely would hire Scott, Derek, and Liz again! I had another company give a quote on this job. That person seemed less professional, and didn’t have the customer service or care that Scott did when he was over for the quote. I also appreciated Scott’s recommendation for additional outlets on the exterior of my home. This really increases our happiness with the home (holiday lights! And smoker!!) and this extra attention to detail was appreciated.

Best company I have had the pleasure of dealing with ever! I came home on Monday to find partial electrical and no heat. Scott the owner and Blake my technician and the girl that I spoke with were all wonderful! Even though this turned out to be a Duke issue and then a heating and air issue Balex called me daily for a week to see how things were going and were so nice. I didn't have heat for 5 days and they checked on me numerous times! I feel like they are family they were so considerate professional and caring! I recommend them 100%. This is service at its finest! A+

Balex Electrical was so quick to respond and very willing to fit us into their schedule. They were great about contacting us to let us know what time to expect the crew to arrive at our shop. They were on time and quickly fixed the issue we had with the emergency lighting. The same is true for the few times we have asked them to come to our home - always a quick turnaround time, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. We love having the invoices emailed and the ability to pay online. No question we highly recommend them!

Very pleased with the work Balex did for us recently. Parker and Liz did a great job and were really professional. They listened to our needs and was especially happy they were able to limit the number of holes that were needed to install new overhead lights and ceiling fans. They went above and beyond.

To begin with, Balex sent texts and emails to keep us updated on when the work would occur and who was coming to the house. This was so helpful. Miguel and Tony were professional, efficient, and hard working. They did alot of work in multiple rooms in a short amount of time. They also cleaned up after themselves as they went along! That was very respectful and much appreciated. They didnt need to perform one extra wiring installation and were able to decrease our cost by $500! The overall cost seemed very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I hired Balex to try to fix issues with a flexible track lighting system. They confirmed we had no wiring issues and the lights themselves worked fine, but that the transformer (the part that connects to the box) needed to be replaced and they'd gladly come back to install when I purchased one. I discovered the model is discontinued (10 yrs old) and decided to purchase a new flexible track system and had them come out to install it. The new system looks great and it worked for a couple hours but then the lights got finicky- not always coming on, flickering, and sometimes just going out. I called a few hours after Matt left and he came back that afternoon to do some tweaking- no charge- and said to let him know Monday if it continued to have issues (it was Friday). It did, I called, and Barbara at Balex (very helpful) set up a Thursday morning appointment for Matt to return. This time, he was able to make some adjustments (with some feedback I provided) and the lights are rock solid! Again, no charge for this callback and it was a little more than an hour. He still assured me that I should not hesitate to contact them if it has issues again.
Very professional, prompt, flexible. I had contacted a couple of companies in the prior couple months, through several apps, but just was not getting a response. Balex called me back within 24 hrs and I had technicians at my house within a few days. They wear shoe covers to protect the home and offer suggestions when applicable.
I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Chandelier is back in action! Great experience with this company and the team who replaced a wire in my 70+ year old home. They were punctual, polite, tidy and friendly!

We have called on Balex many times over the past 10 years and never been disappointed. Toni and Hansen were here today replacing 40 year old ceiling lights and did a beautiful job! They also clean up after themselves! We love Balex!

We had a great service call from Balex Electrical last week. The issue has been with us for some time and another electrical company couldn't figure it out. Toni understood immediately what he need to investigate and was very thorough in his troubleshooting. He crawled the length of the attic twice to make sure his diagnosis was correct. He really knows his craft. His diagnosis was right on the money and his effort has allowed us to proceed with our project. His apprentice, Jomar, was a great help during the process. Both Toni and Jomar were super nice, very professional and willing to do whatever was necessary to bring about a successful resolution. We will be contacting Balex again for our future electrical needs.

Installation and testing was just completed by Balex for our Generac 24kW natural gas whole-house generator and transfer switch. I was very satisfied with every aspect of this project from start to finish.

I am giving Balex Electric a five star rating for a very well deserved service! When making the appointment, they asked questions to make sure the service I needed would be provided and I was able to get an appointment within a few days. When the technicians came out they were very knowledgeable, thorough and polite. They found the issue pretty quickly and re- wired the switch that as it turned out was the issue. They also re- hung the light I was having the issue with. While out on the call, Balex checked all my switches and found a few that were faulty and fixed those. I now feel safe and am happy to recommend this fine company with great employees!

Derek and Parker were amazing! I called this morning and had them come an hour earlier than estimated (a huge bonus when things are dark!) They fixed all 6 of our light fixtures, saving us $ on the replacement bulbs and service. I can't recommend them enough!

Great experience with Balex Electrical Company/Berico completing an EV Charger installation project. Extremely responsive and professional throughout the entire process of getting a quote, scheduling service, getting the work done/inspected, and providing the documentation necessary to take advantage of Duke Energy rebates. Highly recommend. Top notch work. Very fair on pricing and able to get the work done considerably quicker than other companies I had gotten quotes from.

Barbara called me within 24 hrs of my quote request online and we found a date that worked for both schedules. Michael & Miguel were great to work with on the installation of my ceiling fan (16ft vaulted ceiling) and 240v for electric car charger. Thanks again gentlemen!
