HVAC Tech RIch came out to conduct the preventive maintenance on our yearly AC units! Rich was very thorough, worked the entire time he was here and only left after detailing all that he did for the preventive maintenance. Detailed paperwork was left of all that was done on each unit. My husband was very impressed that Rich wore a tool belt, thus having all tools that could be necessary right there with him, instead of having to go back and forth to the service truck. Also, RIch wrote the date on the two filters he changed so that we would know when it would be time for a new one! No other tech had done that before! Rich assured us if we needed them at any time not to hesitate to call, that they were there for us and would respond quickly! Great service!

Wareen Hay office staff and technicians were outstanding in resolving my HVAC issues, especially dealing with damaged/incorrect parts (twice) from the manufacturer. We will definitely continue to use Warren Hay for all of our HVCA needs.

We’ve had an HVAC Preventative Maintenance Program with Warren-Hay for the past few years. The technicians are always prompt, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.

On May 19, 2025, Warren-Hay repaired some ductwork that had become detached under our flooring. By our work order, Richard, one of the senior technicians, checked all the ductwork to make sure it was properly attached and did the preventive maintenance for our HVAC system. We are happy at the ease in scheduling the appointment the next business day when we called. We also appreciate that the work was completed in about an hour. Our system continues to run well.

Richard was very nice. He was quite concerned to make sure we would have the least expensive price for the work he did. Since the charge was $175.00 per hour plus travel charge, the annual service contract only would cost $15.00 more at $201.76. That would include a total of two maintenance visits at no additional charge. Overtime would never be charged for repairs either. We could count today's work as the first visit and not owe the $186.76 for the service. Plus we would have a second visit to schedule during the coming year. (Note: the service contract starts at the first of the month in which it is purchased.)

Richard also told us that HVAC units usually have a 10-year warranty. Our unit was installed in 2016, so some work still may be under warranty. Warren-Hay will check the warranty date for us and tell us. I suggested, and he agreed, that it would be a good idea to have the unit checked before the warranty expired to save money if any repair is needed.

In future we will have Warren-Hay Mechanical perform any repairs for which they are qualified.

This company is very good. They were easy to contact to schedule an appointment. The service person, Daniel, arrived as scheduled. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and seemed to be thorough. Daniel serviced my HVAC system a couple years ago and it's been working fine since then. I definitely recommend this company for HVAC service and also their annual maintenance plan. Thank you, Warren-Hay!

I had a WONDERFUL service person for my mini-split this time! In all honesty, the previous tech was not very good, so I asked them to send someone else particularly knowledgeable in mini-splits. My service tech was Nathan Knight and he was awesome! He was knowledgeable, proactive in his consideration of the state of my system & his recommendations for repairs & maintenance to fit my needs & budget. I will definitely call on W-H again and request Nathan!! He even tolerated some 'help' from my farm critters (see photo)!

W-H charged $175 fee for the 1st visit, which seemed unreasonable, especially since the tech did not believe that my unit had a problem & did absolutely nothing to help. That definitely was not the case today. Thanks so much, Nathan!! You turned a so-so day into a great day!

Excellent service! Rich was efficient, respectful and thorough. He took the extra step in guiding me through how to adjust the settings on the thermostat. Highly recommend!

We recently had Warren-Hay replace one of our aging heat pumps and I have been very happy with their work thus far. I was originally working with a different company, but had them come out to provide a second opinion based on the recommendation of several neighbors. The process of examining the current unit and providing a new quote for replacement was easy, but not rushed, and I never felt pressured to move forward before having some of my concerns addressed. The installation team was excellent - they had to battle a rain storm during the install but were thorough, friendly, and took great care of the house throughout the process. As a new homeowner, I had a lot of questions about the installation, and the team was very patient and kind in helping me to better understand the system. Following the installation I noticed a few issues, and Warren-Hay was quick to send a team back to the house to take a look the next day, troubleshoot, and make some changes - always reiterating that they would come back if anything seemed off. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone considering HVAC replacement in the Triangle area!

I've used Warren-Hay for two service calls during the past 13 months. The first one, my prior HVAC worker recommended a complete replacement of my unit - Warren-Hay provided a second opinion, working multiple days to figure out the unusual repair needed. That repair cost was about 1/5 of the replacement estimate, and it has now ran over a year with no issues since they fixed it. The second was to resolve another issue today (on a different unit) - they resolved the issue on a rainy day very quickly & professionaly - they thoroughly explained the problem & made sure I didn't have any questions. I'll continue to utilize them in the future & would recommend them to friends/family.

The workers were very professional and knowledgeable about heating and air. They knew how the system worked, and how it should be configured to maximize it's efficiency. They also cleaned up all trash making it appear no work had been done.

Prompt arrival as scheduled, very courteous, and explained fully what was done to maintain HVAC on this visit.

Latest preventive service appointment: technician Nathan was great: friendly, detail-oriented, efficient. He also alerted us to leak in our well pressure tank in crawl space. Saved us from flooding crawl space or burning out well motor. Thanks, Nathan.

Warren-Hay has been our go-to for HVAC maintenance since 2003 when they replaced our home’s original gas fired heating and air-conditioning with a Trane heat pump. That system worked without fail for 22 years. This week Warren-Hay upgraded our aging system with a newer, more efficient Trane heat pump. Both the external compressor and the interior air handler were changed out and operational within 6 hours. Their technicians are friendly and efficient. Construction debris was cleaned up and all old HVAC equipment was removed. The lead technician carefully explained all elements of the new system upon completion. I give Warren-Hay and their staff my highest recommendation.

I am always happy with the service I receive from Warren Hay. Most recently woke to no AC. They were able to come same day, professional, easy to talk with and problem fully resolved!

Warren Hay staff accommodated us by moving the installation schedule so that installation took place before out departure for travel. They sent four technicians and the new complete HVAC system was installed and running in about half a day. Taylor (sp?) led the group; all technicians were professional and very polite. From scheduling, to installation and to start-up the work was excellent. We highly recommend Warren Hay.

Due to age, refrigerant leaks our two HVAC units required replacement. The crew from Warren Hay Mechanical arrived prompted on the day and appointed time. They were courteous and showed their expertise in both the removal of the old units and installation of the new without problems. The cost was very reasonable compared to the other quotes received. I would recommend using this company, they don't heavily advertise, but with the quality of the work and product is EXCELLENT, it speaks for itself !

Fantastic service from Warren Hay again. Quick response times and our technician Richard was able to diagnose the issue in the driveway before even seeing the unit and then confirmed with diagnostics. Signed up for the yearly service plan which is an amazing deal for what you get. Highly recommend Warren Hay, but Richard specifically!

Technician showed up on time and preformed scheduled preventative maintenance. He found no problems with the operation of the HVAC. He was cordial and informed me of the service performed.
