Huntersville Hardscapes did two projects for us: a driveway expansion and a deck remodel. We cannot say enough positive things about the company and its workers. Joel knows what he is doing and clearly enjoys it. He wanted to create our vision and had great ideas/plans. The workers that assisted him were prompt and hardworking. I actually had to say: "you do not have to work the day after Christmas!" - but they did anyway. They arrived early and worked late. They clearly cared about doing a good job and took pride in their workmanship.

"Professional" was the word we used repeatedly to describe them over the course of our project. When Joel says that they will be there on a certain date at a certain time to do a certain job, you can bet on it.

My wife and I needed to replace a backside wood deck for quite some time and decided to go with a patio in lieu of a new deck. We also needed a walkway from the driveway to the front steps. We ran across Huntersville Hardscapes and contacted Joel Smith for an onsite consultation to discuss options. Joel was very attentive to our needs and answered many questions. He offered suggestions and outlined the process to construct a patio and walkway with pavers. The job took several days and Joel and/or his team, arrived early each day and worked until dark. The entire process was managed professionally with regular communications from Joel. His team did an outstanding job with great attention to detail. We could not be more pleased with the workmanship, the price, and the quality of the materials. Completion of both the patio and walkway exceeded our expectations and has given our house a fresh look. We have some future projects in mind and Huntersville Hardscapes will be our first phone call. A huge thank you to Joel and his team for the great customer service and a job very well done.

Joel and Lia run a great business, there crew does wonderful work. Our patio turned out just as designed and we were happy to support a locally owned company. Joel did a great job of listening to what we wanted and making suggestions based on his experience.

Huntersville Hardscapes built a beautiful and well-constructed trash corral at my house and I couldn't be more pleased. The quality of construction is the key difference. For example, they installed a 6"x6" post more than two feet in the ground to support the gate! Good quality siding material was applied on both the inside and out, and painted with matching colors. It was built quickly by polite and competent hardscape professionals. I strongly recommend this company!

Joel and his team did a wonderful job on our patio! We had them remove an old deck and they were able to execute the vision we had to put a paver patio in the space instead. He kept us updated as they made some tweaks to the plan throughout the process. They use quality products and we know our patio will look good for years to come.

My backyard was quite the project because I needed an entire re-do. It was hard to find one company that could do everything we wanted but Joel, from Huntersville Hardscapes, was up for the challenge. The end result was beautiful and exceeded my wife and I's expectations. We’ve already gotten a lot of compliments from our neighbors and look forward to hosting many parties in our new back yard! Communication with Huntersville Hardscapes has been awesome. Any question or concern I had was promptly answered. Every person at the company, from who answers the phone to the fellas at the site, were pleasant to deal with. The guys over at Huntersville Hardscape are great at what they do and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

What a delight it was to work with Huntersville Hardscapes. Joel and his team are simply wonderful. Crews showed up on time each day, and Joel did a great job setting expectations. The team went above and beyond in every way - even doing a ton of extra work to ensure everything looked perfect. We love the results. Joel solved a huge drainage problem for us, transforming our backyard "bog" into a beautiful showpiece. He designed a gorgeous walkway to replace the original sidewalk and a raised bed to surround our front trees. The crew did a beautiful job executing his vision. We were actually a little sad when the work was done, because we enjoyed working with everyone so much. I highly recommend Huntersville Hardscapes.

Our builder left clay pile is now properly graded, draining and features a beautiful retaining wall giving us two levels of useable space.

Horrible service. Agreed on bimonthly lawn service and other projects. Showed up once in 5 weeks. I have left 6 messages that have not been returned. Apparently Rene is too busy to honor his commitment or return a message. Don't waste your time. Can't be counted on now.

Stay away! I called 3 Little Stars Landscape for information and to set up a time for an estimate. Whoever answered the phone was completely unprofessional. He didn't identify himself he seemed like he was too busy to care. When asked if I called at a bad time he said no but was disinterested in anything I had to say. He told me to send a message and that he'd get back to me if he had time. Wow! That is NO way to run a business! Even if he had time there is no way I'd want him to work for me.

I have used Rene several times for pine needles and mulch install. Good guys. They work hard, work fast, communication is easy and the prices are fair. I would use again.

We moved into the area recently and needed a landscaper. I received 4 different quotes, all high and were unable to do the cleanup for a week or so out. These guys came the same day I contacted them to provide a quote and the next day to do the cleanup. I was so impressed, super thorough, and did an excellent job. Will be using them going forward! I'm super happy we finally found a good landscaper! Highly recommend.

Rene & his crew took the time to do things correctly & didn’t cut corners. He was receptive to our input along the way & did quality work. He quoted us a very reasonable price. Our new patio & sidewalk turned out great.
