I spoke with a man by the name of Billy Bost he was very rude and did not give care about my questions at all.
-
Company has treated me well for the 6 years I have been here .
-
They showed up again today unannouced to block my driveway once again.
-
No order where ever this company is they cause major delays get the hell out of NC.
-
These guys have been doing line work in my yard, turned off the power without warning multiple times, turn the power off then break for lunch, left deep ruts in yard and dodging blame for that, have left trash, cigarette butts, roam the property outside of the designated right of way, their manner and attitude surly / hostile / sarcastic / disrespectful / scary, left ugly piles of dead cut brush lying around for me to clean up, deep hard ruts threaten damage to my lawn equipment and septic drain field, rough restart of power rapid blinking on and off multiple times could cause damage to appliances, not a welcome presence, hope they don't come back.

Called due to a complaint & while I was on the phone they were able to contact the foreman & resolve the problem. This was the first time that I had dealt with this company & I was surprised at how fast they worked.
-
Extremely poor behavior and shouting obscenities towards drivers near intersection of Statesville rd. and Lakeview rd. I see why the reviews of this place are so low.

Came out today after power outage due to storm. Came out for Duke Energy and we have our power back. Gave a friendly thank you to one of the workers and got a friendly response back.
-
Great customer service. Brad Heath and his crew went the extra mile to make our utility pole replacement painless and as smooth as possible. Thanks for a job well done.
-
Last week they busted a gas line. This week they busted a water line. Like they don’t have equipment to check things before they dig?! Duke Energy needs to hire much more professional contractors.

ULCS installed the incorrect transformer on our street, destroying electrical equipment in many homes attached to the transformer, and then told the victims we needed to pay for the damages and then ask them to reimburse us, or wait 100s of hours while they get around to sending an adjuster.
......
Six days ago, ULCS replaced a transformer under contract with Duke Energy. The transformer was too big, burning appliances and melting breakers in many neighborhood homes.
I filed a complaint with Duke Energy, who sent a representative out the next day to tell me it was our, the neighborhood, fault. Now six days later I’m still getting coffee from the convenience store, our family is taking cold showers, and we can’t use our washer/dryer. ULCS told us not to do anything until the auditor came or they wouldn’t cover it (or at least we would have to fight them to cover it).

If you see them in your neighborhood, call 911 and the utility commission because your stuff is going to be destroyed and you will be forced to deal with it. -
Was told at 11am my power would be back on in 2 hours. It’s almost 6pm and still no power and my fridge is getting warm.
-
Doing work in our neighborhood and have no common courtesy when it comes to taking up road space, congregating in the road, not moving vehicles from middle of road causing oncoming cars to wait while they wrap up conversation in their vehicles side by side instead of parking along edge of road and discussing our of vehicle.
Leaving a mess on properties, bottles, wrappers, cigarettes.
Very unprofessional. -
The re did my streets lines, didn’t reconnect mine properly and my power was off for a week and they said I had a bad breaker, after buying a new breaker for 3k it turned out they didn’t connect my lines to my power box right which fried my breaker and took them another week to do my lines again the right way. Seems like most of them know nothing and it’s pure luck if they do their job right

Extremely low ratings and I can see why. This joke of a company shut down a three-way intersection, only to work on one of the roads. I saw a girl who seemed to be in distress, very upset and was trying to get out of the area, but there was no place for her to go. He went and moved the cones for her finally, and after she pulled off, he bragged and laughed about how he was going to give her business (which was displayed on the side of her car) a one star review for fun. Someone with an already low rating who would lie on another persons business account deserves to be outed for the crass, ludicrous, unnecessary insult of a poor girl who just wanted to get where she needed to be. I tried to complain to his supervisor but he didn’t seem to care one bit and laughed me off. If you want poor service and to be insulted behind your back with no reason or merit, go to this company.

This company has been doing work on our powerlines and service in our neighborhood for weeks on end now. They keep coming and closing one end of our road and then the other sometimes only leaving one lane open. We never know when they’re coming but they usually are here about two or three days a week and it’s been going on for weeks on end. Super slow service for whatever upgrades they are doing. Out on the main road outside our neighborhood they park a truck to block traffic and cause horrendous backups on a road that usually has many crashes anyway. Then there’s no flag man to assist getting out in the main road. Wish they could just be done and leave our area!!!!

This company has no courtesy whatsoever when they decide to just show up with no notice and take over your front yard. They put a sign in my own front yard that said no parking, and after pounding on all my doors at 8am started threatening to tow cars.

Way to go Sesame Street. Your guys came out to service the area for Duke Energy. They powered up a neighborhood with down power lines and twisted lines. Sparks everywhere. It looked like the 4th of July. They probably messed up a bunch of transformers. Then they came back days later to fix the lines and powered us up with bad transformers. They didn't check the transformers or warn us. They fried my microwave, heat pump, toaster oven, computer, and garage door opener, which were working via generator before Bert and Ernie lit us up.
