I’ve been using Helm’s for over ten years for regular service checkups. When I moved to another location in the Charlotte area, I had them recommend a replacement unit for my new home. Installation was done in 2017. Had a hard to solve issue in 2023 with my Carrier unit. The unit is under warranty and Helm’s customer service was great. Keeping me informed of part delivery and coming out after hours to install the part! The technicians explain what they are doing and answer questions in a manner that I can understand. Helm’s is reasonably priced and just nice professional people. When you call, someone answers the phone and always addresses you in a proper business manner. I highly recommend the company. Can’t say enough good things about Helm’s Heating and Air!! Great company to do business with!

Helms is a fantastic company to work with. They are easy to talk with on the phone (you are not on hold for hours like other companies). They offer very competitive pricing for the service they provide, are respectful of your home, and you can tell they take pride in their work. I would highly recommend using Helms. Sam was the best person we could have asked for when searching for a new system. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I received quotes from 5 different HVAC companies for a completely new system and Helms offered the best price. Save yourself the time and call Helms first.

After having my HVAC system installed only two years later, it is no longer working even though it’s still under warranty. I called Helms to come service it and they informed me that they cannot come out for two weeks to look at my system and see why it’s not working. I literally have never heard of that from an HVAC company for a system that They installed to not come out for two weeks in the middle of summer with somebody with zero air on a newer system. I would highly recommend choosing a different company

Travis was very communicative from the start. He called prior to getting in here with ample time for us to prepare for his arrival. When he got here, he was very friendly and very customer service oriented. He was very well knowledgeable of what he had to do and did a good job of explaining us what was happening. We also requested a quote and he was very prompt to do it at the moment and send it to us by email. Overall, excellent service, excellent communication and excellent customer service.

Our technician Travis was very helpful. He was polite and knew exactly what he was doing. I would recommend this company to anyone who is needing their air condition unit checked. Very reasonable with pricing as well.

Prom was knowledgeable, professional, and patient. He knew exactly what he was doing and how to resolve the problem. He was also very well organized.

Ramiro was our service tech and he was AMAZING. Very informative and knowledgeable. We plan to request him for all future service.

Heat out this morning. Called Helms who came out late afternoon, found the problem and fixed it at reasonable rate. Caleb was professional and knowledgeable.

Greg was fantastic in diagnosing our issue. Even though it didn't end up being a hvac issue, he found a roof leak that was causing the moisture around an ac vent. Great service!

Excellent customer service! They came right in and changed my filters without me having to say a word. They also explained everything they were going to do prior to doing it.

This company needs a total reset in their communication, scheduling, and professionalism. After being rescheduled (pushed out weeks) multiple times for almost a $2000 service repair. The workers accidentally stepped through the ceiling creating drywall damage. The crew did not admit to the damage until it was discovered after they left. When reporting it to their staff, they sent another representative out who was more concerned about getting out of the customer's home than resolving the issue or apologizing for the mistake. When contacted later in the day, this employee stated that another company would be in contact to get the drywall repaired. A week later, no contact was made so a follow up attempt was made and another representative stated that they did not have a contact, thought the customer should contact the builder, and made no attempt to resolve the issue. Accidentally stepping through the ceiling when working happens but the issue is the inconsistent and inconsiderate follow up will cause this company to lose a customer for life.

Caleb was incredibly pleasant and professional - a seeming rarity these days. Prom was equally courteous and professional. No catchy commercials or silly slogans, just a good company, hiring good people and doing good work.

Ramiro always does a thorough job. He comes out twice a year and keeps our system humming along. I would definitely recommend Helms and Ramiro.

Outstanding service . Timely, professional, extremely competent and wanted us to be satisfied with all of his services and routines. Travis was a great representative of Helms.

Brandon is very polite and conscientious and does a great job at servicing our systems. He always informs us of the status of our units and only recommends replacement parts when they are necessary. I would highly recommend Helms Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone needing repairs or service.
