Great all around experience with Mr. Handyman. There was very clear communication with scheduling and estimates were very detailed and they were transparent about each cost. Shawn, our handyman was excellent. He tackled some difficult repairs which came out fantastic. He also found additional areas of damage and was upfront about the additional cost which we agreed to. Everything was fixed and the work exceeded expectations.

I was very happy with the service that Mr Handyman provided. I had a broken shower door and knew I wanted a quick and thorough fix without having to get a lot of estimates. I had used the Mr Handyman company before (based out of south carolina) and was pleased with their promptness and efficiency. From the south charlotte business, Michael was the technician who came out. He was on time, he fixed the door, cleaned up well and the door is functioning like new. We received outstanding customer service from Charles Enyeart with Mr. Handyman of South Charlotte on September 5, 2025. He was prompt, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. He completed a variety of repairs inside our home, including removing our old microwave and installing our new one, replacing all the light bulbs in our ceiling fan in the guest bedroom, and replacing two ceiling air filters. He completed all this work perfectly. He is multi-talented as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, and general handyman. We are returning customers at Mr. Handyman, and I always ask for Charles Enyeart when I call them for repair work. The company also sent us photos of his completed work with a receipt of payment.

He completed a variety of repairs inside and outside our home, including replacing all the light bulbs in our kitchen chandelier, replacing the ceiling lights and electronic ballast in our master bedroom closet, replacing three filters, adjusting a new toilet seat, and building two new steps on our sundeck. He completed all this work in the morning before the ice storm that afternoon. He is multi-talented as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, and general handyman. We are returning customers at Mr. Handyman, and I will definitely ask for Charles Enyeart when I call them for repair work in the future. I highly recommend this business.

We received outstanding customer service from Mr. Handyman of South Charlotte from the moment we spoke with Tim and Barbara through the completed task with Matthew Doll. Their office immediately scheduled Matthew to visit our home and inspect the damage from the deteriorating sealant around the copper bay window roof, palladium window, three windows around the front door, and two second story windows above the bay window. Matthew inspected all the areas that had leaked into our dining room and foyer during the January 9th thunderstorms and then gave me a detailed description of his repairs. He was on time, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He did outstanding work removing and replacing the worn out sealant. He also repaired an area on the copper roof that was loose and filled in an area where the wood frame was deteriorating. He advised us to replace part of the exterior wood frame on the bay window and the bottom window frame on the palladium window in about one year. Their office made a notation to contact us at that time and sent us photos of the repairs for our insurance company. We highly recommend Mr. Handyman of South Charlotte for their reliability, attention to detail, and quality workmanship.

I was very pleased with my experience working with Mr. Handyman. Scheduling was quick and hassle-free, and our technician, Shawn, was punctual, professional, and friendly. I chose Mr. Handyman because I wanted a straightforward process without the need to contact multiple companies for quotes, and they delivered on that ease of use. While I’m satisfied with the work they completed on my home, I did feel the overall cost was a bit on the higher side. Given the price, I may opt to explore other options for future needs.

Mike Sanders came out immediately after I had a closet rack collapse on me. He was able to fix it and get me back up and running almost immediately. I had a great first time experience with this company. Mike is going to be helping me with some more odds and ends around the house soon. Highly recommend.

Have used Mr. Handyman in Charlotte NC before and have always been impressed with their professionalism. Decided to use them to install a gazebo on my patio. Matt and Chris arrived promptly on the scheduled day, started working immediately and kept at it until the job was completed. Was impressed with the completed work so much so that I know I will use them again.

Tyrone did a great job on two areas of wood rot on the front of my house. The window rot had come all the way to interior of my home... he came up with a way to fix and looks great. The decorative pillar had been "repaired" twice previously, but Tyrone cut out area and replaced/painted. He is punctual, a good communicator and very meticulous in his workmanship. Tyrone is also a very friendly person. Thank you.

I can’t say enough about our positive experience with Mr Handyman South Charlotte. We had a shutter repair and they came same day about an hour after my initial call. Michael did a great job and well within the quoted time. In addition their follow up call after the repair to see if we were happy with the service and repair was icing on the cake. Would recommend to anyone needing a handyman.

My husband and I had to replace a 25 ft section of fence that had broken. We contacted Mr. Handyman and they put us in touch with James for the project. The process was very professional and James was extremely knowledgeable offering options for the fencing material and completing the repair for us. We enjoyed working with James very much and will definitely use the company on any further projects within their scope.

3 pendant lights to be hung (electrical connections and outlets already exist) and change 1 outdoor garage light fixture $640. Wow! My initial inquiry was for a longer list and was told the minimum for a job like that would be $260 which sounds reasonable. Then was told the $260 was minimum for any job! I guess that’s the price to change a light bulb. Out $95 which is what they charge just to come out!

If you are looking for a professional company to get work done, this is the one. It’s so awful dealing with contractors that you have to chase down for every step of the process. Mr Handyman of Fort Mill is the exact opposite. From the first phone call, they were polite, thorough, and set expectations for how things would progress. Every expectation set was met and the contractor sent to complete my job was friendly, knowledgeable, and did quality work. After he left, they followed up to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Highly recommended!! We will definitely be using them again.

The folks at Mr. Handyman were able to schedule a service provider for me same day, as I needed to widen a kitchen cabinet space by half an inch for a combination oven - microwave unit. Mike C. arrived on time and was able to quickly resolve the issue so that the unit could be installed later that afternoon. I will definitely use Mr. Handyman again, given their excellent customer service, communication and professionalism.
