I had 12 window screens that birds pecked holes and severlly damaged. I took them in to their office and they replaced fabric material with black aluminum wire. Looks great, invisible looking out, and birds should leave it alone. Starting another repair job next week on home site. Fantastic folks to work with.

Highly recommend Michael and everyone at Handyman for repairing my exterior shutters after the recent wind storm. Very communicative and friendly!

Brought them out for an estimate, hang a normal TV, cut this piece of turf I have, and assemble a shelf. $1,600..... This is no more than a 2 hour job at best. I don't write reviews often but these guys are way over priced.

Company is great to work with. Well run company, from the owner to the contractors. They communicate, perform good work and act professionally. I recommend and will use them again.

I scheduled this company to install a new storm door and was told I would pay their $88 consultation fee, which they said would be applied toward the final project cost. What they don’t make clear is that this only applies if the installation is completed during that same day appointment.

On the day of the appointment, I learned that if they can’t do the work right then—whether because the door is the wrong size, missing parts, or any other issue—they keep the $88 and do not apply it to the project when they return. In other words, if they have to come back, you end up paying the consultation fee on top of the installation cost. This was a waste of time.
UPDATE: the local operator/owner called me to COMPLAIN to me about the review I left, but offered no solution. I feel this company is all about the $$$. SMH.

Michael did an outstanding job installing our exterior back door! He is an expert at his craft, took his time and patiently answered our questions while he was working. He was also very friendly and ensured that we were happy with his work…which we very much were!

I recently asked Handyman of S Charlotte to help out with some small tasks when we bought a new to us home. It quickly became a larger job after an unexpected gas leak and pipe repair that put several holes in our walls. Tyrone was fantastic and fixed all the walls so you’d never know! Additionally he removed a fireplace and replaced wall, moved two wall mounted TVs, installed recessed lighting and more! He truly cares about his work. And Barbara was a Godsend, helping to juggle schedules to make sure the work is done. Though they do cost more than the average, it’s worth it when you want something done right!

Matt was my handyman and he was awesome! He assessed the damage, explained what needed to be done and got to work. By the end of the day all was repaired and I was thrilled with the results! Their price was totally reasonable for the job and I was thrilled with the results. I plan to use Mr Handyman for more projects. I highly recommend them!

PJ was incredible—polite, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding customer service. His professionalism and energy truly stood out, and he made a fantastic first impression of the company!

I had an issue with water leaking through my patio door causing damage to the flooring. I appreciate that Michael explained in detail the issue and exactly how it would be repaired. We ran into some bumps along the way so it took longer than expected to complete. I appreciate that he went out of his way to make sure the work was done well instead of cutting corners. I would certainly use their services again.

This is the second time we’ve had work done by handyman. Their customer service when scheduling and coordinating the first appointment is first class. Charles was our handyman and he was extremely attentive in making sure our project was done to our satisfaction and communicating all the technical details before starting. I will definitely recommend them for any of your handyman needs. This time was for hanging Christmas lights.

Antonio and Shawn have worked great together. They replaced an very old and out of shape attic door on June 25th. I was very pleased with their work ethic and skills. They came early and cleaned up after their work as well. Very friendly and pleasant and respectful attitude.

My only complaint is the company’s reluctance to provide better pricing to customers. I worked with other companies where I could negotiate a price for my needs but I had Zero negotiating power with Mr Handyman.

Can’t speak for other Mr. Handyman locations/technicians, but Michael at this location is why I gave one star.. not only did he have a contentious interaction with a family member, but his body language was awful when he made it to my home. He seemed more concerned with collecting the $88 service fee, while also having an attitude about having to wait 90 seconds for me to answer my door while securing my dog in a back room.. I apologized for not answering timely. Instead of acknowledging my statement, he went into asking what I was looking to have done, with his face scrunched up. No introduction.. This may not seem like a lot to some, but as someone that works in the customer service field your introduction is everything. All I have from that interaction is a $94 debit for the service fee, so I might as well take the time to voice myself for the inconvenience.

Jeff Samuel arrived on time, explained everything in the estimate, was very careful in my house, was polite, and professional. I had two projects for him to take care of and I'm very pleased with the results! My shower door no longer lined up and wouldn't close. I was afraid I potentially needed a new shower door. He fixed it instead! He also caulked all crown moulding and around my fireplace. I will definitely ask for him again.

I love Mr handyman and honestly every technician I have had has been so helpful but Tyrone is amazing. He is so knowledgeable and stayed for so long to help me with various projects over the house. I recommend him for any handyman needs! Just such a nice person too!
