Live Green Crawlspace did an exceptional job on our crawlspace encapsulation. Chris and his team were professional, thorough, efficient, and did a terrific job. They removed old insulation and vapor barrier. Installed new wall insulation and two layers of vapor barrier. Our crawlspace is much better. Awesome job, absolutely recommend Live Green.

Our Crawlspace was nearing 40 years old with little attention to it. falling insulation, old door, minor mold growth, unsealed vents, etc. Live Green was able to seal the crawl space with new poly, exterior wall insulation, a new door, and seals for all the vents in a cost-effective and timely manner. Chris is great to work with and communicated well throughout the project. It's a load off my mind knowing our crawlspace is in great shape.

Live Green sealed my crawl space, installed a french drain, automatic sunk pump, and insulated the crawl space doors. The service was exceptional from the beginning to the end. Everyone was extremely polite and professional. The finished job was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better work. It was done in a timely manner and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend this company if you are considering sealing your crawl space. My wood floors were cupping from the moisture and the water accumulating underneath the house and I can already see a difference since the work has been completed. I have never seen how clean a house can be underneath until the crawl space has been sealed.

I contracted with Live Green for the encapsulation of my crawl space after a friend recommended them. Their work was quick (one day) and well done. Follow ups were scheduled to ensure I was satisfied. During our follow-up meeting, two small issues were found and quickly fixed. The difference in air quality is noticeable, especially after a substantial rain/downpour. We no longer smell a wet ground/dirt odor in the house. It's also more cost effective to cool the house and we have gained a significant amount of air conditioned storage space. I recommend Live Green for your crawl space encapsulation.

Live Green did a crawlspace sealing project for me in Fall of 2022, the provided a great quote and were able to answer a lot of questions about their process. They arrived on time and did a great job. I did have two followup issues, their work exposed a plumbing problem that needed resolution (they didn't do anything wrong), and I had to have them come back to replace the crawlspace door, but there were super responsive and engaged. Definitely recommend their crawlspace sealing service, and I assume their other services are good as well with the great customer service they provided.

We had Live Green out to inspect our crawlspace after we were "doom and gloomed" by another company. I want to start by saying Chris was incredibly kind, responsive, and professional. He was quick to get an inspection setup, and quick to get it finished. He informed us that our crawlspace is actually in great condition, and that we shouldn't focus any work down there. He walked us through some steps on how we can better monitor the health of our crawlspace and assuaged some of the fears brought on by other companies. It is not often that you find a company that is willing to be honest with their customer's when they could, instead, sell them something. Live Green seems as honest as they come, and I would happily go to them with any of my repairs.

Chris from Live Green just came out to inspect my crawl space. I was sure it had mold and standing water (as another company told me last week). Chris said he found no mold, no water. He talked with me at length and said that our home does not need work in the crawl space. He was the most honest, knowledgeable, helpful person. Use this company. Tell your friends!

Chris with Live Green Inc. drove all the way out to Bahama, NC to see our project and address our crawlspace concerns. Even though he was skeptical that our crawlspace could be safely encapsulated (<12inch in some areas), he expressed enthusiasm to come out, do the crawl, and problem solve. Chris drove out on a winter day (it’s currently 18degrees F) and crawled through what he could of our crawlspace, knowing early on it wasn’t a project Live Green could safely tackle. Afterwards he was liberal with his time problem solving my concerns and pointing me in the right direction. Although they couldn’t take on the job, I am so appreciative of Live Greens transparency and genuine concern for my home. I have dealt with a lot of “salesmen” in the crawlspace industry. Chris with Live Green put my interests first in a very refreshing way. Live Green is an honest company that wants to help you first and foremost.

Needed a quote for a full crawl space encapsulation. They were out within 3 days, quote the same day, and completed the job one week later and were much less expensive than my other quote I received. Cannot believe how easy and no stress it was for a lifetime warrantied crawl space!

Update: After posting my review I was able to successfully have someone take the time and listen to my concerns and contact me immediately. They have gone over and beyond to correct any issues that may have been there and so far so good. I believe that the communication was the main problem and that as the consumer we just need to continue to be proactive and ask questions about the product, installations and warranties that are offered with anyone. During this COVID time life is different and everyone is struggling with the new way of living and doing business. I would say so far so good but I would say continue to stay in contact with them because they are busy as all business with being short staffed and covid regulations. The hardest part of this was the frustration of no one taking the time to come out to see me personally and to see the problem rather than assume they were here when it was the other house across the street using them too. So two houses same street I can understand confusion not assumption. Greg has been very understanding and I greatly appreciate their attention to detail now that they are seeing the issues that need to be handled and job looks much better than before.

I have decided to write this review after waiting and giving each individual ample time to respond to my emails. But when the email that you receive back says they have decided to bow out that is not acceptable. I responded to Stan asking him and Mr. Roland if this meant they were NOT honoring the warranty and I have yet to receive a response. I have tried to contact them multiple times for job that was done to inquire about some work that needs to be redone under the "WARRANTY" at the same time I inquired to receive a quote for additional work for another sump pump. I literally waited for 2 weeks for anyone to contact me then 3 weeks before receiving the quote. I typically don't beg people to take my money but I didn't want to void a warranty on the 5600.00 job. I have had them come out and agree that there are several areas in July that needed to be retaped on the sealing of my crawlspace. I again followed up on the status of the quote and warranty issues and they said they were at my house and installed a sump pump on 10/23/20 then told me they have gps in their trucks and it shows them at my house. Well my cameras don't show them nor do I have a sump pump in the location. However, my neighbors across the street had work by them. When I tried to call them they were not very nice to deal with on the phone and not willing to work with me. I have had constant issues with their poor installation. I have taken several videos and pictures of this and I would not recommend using them if they are not willing to respond back to you or are not open in talking with you. 5600.00 is not cheap for a job that was not done correctly or even have someone come back and recheck.I feel they take advantage of their customers and are not interested in the health and well being of us.

Honest review here: I worked with Chris Allen to get my crawlspace sealed and conditioned. He worked with me as I was on the fence (mostly due to my finances and then Covid). I had several quotes from other companies to do the job and Live Green was on par or better than the rest. I decided to go with Live Green since Chris provided full transparency on the scope and answered all my questions quickly and politely. They also use thicker poly on the ground than others, which I greatly appreciate. The installation went smoothly and we are beyond happy we finally got it done. We no longer have a musty crawl space smell in our house. It is incredible the difference in air quality. We have seen a reduction in heat usage this winter (so far); 18% less in November, and 5% less in December. Outside temps were about the same and we have not adjusted the schedule on our thermostats. On top of that, the first floor is no longer cold feeling. Overall, would recommend 10/10.

LiveGreen took care of us twice. We used them for a project in 2021 and 2025.

I had LiveGreen out to our first home in 2021 after a crawlspace inspection showed it needed some love. The crew was great and took great care of our property. We moved in 2024 and I was very happy that a tough inspector gave only compliments about the crawlspace. I knew it needed to be a priority for our new home and Chris came out to take care of us again. Really appreciate the attention to detail and comfort I have not worrying about mold or freezing pipes in the crawlspace. Give them a call

My experience with LiveGreen Insulation was terrible from start to finish. The sales rep who came out was clearly inexperienced and carried an attitude the whole time, which made the appointment unnecessarily frustrating.

Their pricing was also way higher than other companies I received quotes from, and nothing about the visit justified those inflated numbers.

And based on the other negative reviews, I’m fully expecting them to respond by claiming I was “never a customer.” If that’s the route they choose, it just proves the point, deflecting instead of taking responsibility is unprofessional and unethical.

Take the feedback, improve your service and do better.

We wanted to seal the crawlspace of our new house in September, and I contacted five different companies to come out and give me quotes. There are a variety of techniques out there (encapsulated, HVAC open/closed, dehumidifier or not, etc) which was difficult to navigate. Chris from Livegreen came out and explained their process thoroughly yet simply, sharing pictures of what to expect as he explained. As well as being the most competitive price, we decided that the Livegreen method sounded like the one with the least amount of hassle/maintenance (no dehumidifier maintenance). The week before we moved in, Livegreen came by and cleaned out the crawlspace and sealed it. The team was professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. The crawlspace looks great and 3+ months on we are very happy with it. It is so nice to have a clean, sealed space under the house if you have the unfortunate need to go crawling around in there (our plumbers were very happy too). It supposedly helps with electricity bills as well, but of course we have no prior bills to compare it to. Nonetheless, we happily recommend the Livegreen team!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! First, their price was unbeatable (we got five quotes). Second, their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly exceptional.

We hired them to encapsulate our crawlspace—they installed a new vapor barrier, removed the old floor insulation, added foam board on the walls, installed a dehumidifier, and more. When the dehumidifier produced a slight humming sound, the owner came out multiple times to make sure it wasn’t bothering us. They even added extra insulation to reduce the noise—at no additional cost.

It’s rare to find a company that combines great pricing with outstanding service. I give them an A++ and would recommend them without hesitation!

Scheduling the job was quick and seamless and they had availability in just a couple of days.

Crew came out and were insightful and knowledgeable about what they were here to fix and how to fix it. The crew lead, Ivan, has ton of experience and made me feel at ease with everything.
