I would like to thank the owner of Rodas Construction for personally reviewing the work completed on my mom’s house and inspecting the roof leak. My mom mentioned that a team visited and surveyed the area. The owner apologized for any miscommunication, which we appreciate and have accepted. While I don’t completely agree with everything, I do appreciate that they took the time to come out.

This is a difficult review for reasons you’ll see in the attached images and has been edited. We’re generally grateful to have the work done which is why we stomached the effort dealing with disgruntled salesman, effort on our part reviewing and pointing out construction issues, and long time around the whole project.

That said, the radio silence in addressing noticeable and concerning roofing issue and additional out of pocket cost to fix is pretty concerning.

We had an excellent experience with the whole team at Rodas Construction! John took care of everything from start to finish, including coordinating with our insurance company so all storm damage—roof and interior—was covered. They scheduled our roof replacement quickly, and helped us pick the right shingle color for our home. The crew was professional and efficient, completing the roof and interior work all in the same day. This is a great local company that will provide thorough and reliable work. We highly recommend!

Rodas built a Master Bedroom, with Bathroom and walk in closet addition to our home in North Raleigh. Steve helped us plan the addition to flow with the downstairs of our house. He gave us a fair price to do the job. He kept giving the city documents needed to get Building Permit. Enrique is wonderful to work with on the construction of the unit. He is well liked and respected by all of the Sub Contractors. Between different phases of construction we never waited longer than a couple of days. Rodas does not cut any corners. I had some rotten wood on the back side of my house and Enrique insisted on repairing it properly. They sure did get it right. I heard someone in my new crawl space late one day. I went under there after workman left and he had cleaned it spotless and laid thick plastic on the Crawl Floor. I hated the metal track threshold on the French Doors. I asked them to remove it. They custom built me a new one out of solid oak--Picture attached.
Besides my dog barking for 4 months it was a smooth build, and a pleasure working with Rodas. All inspections passed quickly. Rodas does everything by the book. The office staff are very friendly and professional too. My wife and I are so happy with the new space. Check out the Pics.

We called Rodas Construction on a Wednesday and received a call back within 15 minutes. We had the pleasure of meeting with Chris on Thursday and was able to get a rough estimate on site. Chris noticed hail damage and took multiple pictures of proof, he then was able to submit a claim with my insurance company by the following morning. I was not available to meet the adjuster but Chris was able and walked the roof with my agent that same day. The adjuster verified the damage and by Friday Chris was able to schedule the roof replacement for Monday morning. Chris explained the option to take out a construction loan via Rodas with Medallion bank. I was able to complete the loan agreement in minutes and within hours it was approved with a 10.99% interest rate. Monday arrives and so does the Rodas crew at 7 am they worked fast and where friendly and accommodating. Chris called with regular updates thru out the day and really the entire process. We had alot of wood rot and the crew was able to repair it all and be done within 12 hours with the house roof and shed roof. Chris explained all the damage and what was done to fix the damage with detail. The painters showed up on Tuesday to fix some existing soffit damage and paint where it was needed per our contract. On Wednesday our new gutters arrived with leaf guards. The whole process was so very easy and if I had a complaint it is that we did not find Rodas Construction and Chris sooner. Thank you for all your work and attention to detail, we look forward to our next project with Rodas and Chris.

This review may seem unreal, but I assure you it is true. My wife and I had been planning our renovation for years. We had some bad experiences with contractors previously so we were very skeptic coming into our renovation. That being said, the team at Rodas construction is extremely professional, honest, timely, and the work is very high quality. We were guided through the process by Steve and when construction began, Enrique and his team were diligent and timely. Also, when our inspector came to review the framing they had stated the framing was some of the best craftsmanship they had ever seen. The inspector brought me outside to show me just how well they had set the plane of the wood. You won't find better craftsmanship, professionalism, and honesty in a construction company. I would use them again and recommend them anytime for any project.

Rodas delivers quality product.

My wife and I wanted to add a four-season room, deck, and patio to the back of our house. We worked with Steve, received a competitive quote, and decided to go with Rodas.

All the trade teams were excellent and friendly. One example - we noticed that the framing team spoke extraordinarily little to each other. The lead would call out a measurement, his teammate would make the required cuts, and they would smoothly install each piece. They were the proverbial “well-oiled machine.”

As the work progressed, we decided that we should really replace the wood soffit on the house. Enrique worked up a very reasonable quote and the team replaced all the wood soffit with vinyl and wrapped the remaining wood with white aluminum. The result is spectacular and provides a visually seamless integration between the new room and the existing house.

In every job of this size there are hiccups along the way. Enrique and his team addressed every one of them with a quality result.

My partner and I are building a straw bale house and had little success with other contractors to help us with the framing and roofing part of our build. Rodas Construction not only took on our job, but they have been with us with every change and “speed bump.”

Everyone has been really great to work with : Janice, Larissa, and John in the office, Israel, Sammy, José, Josue, and many others with the framing and roofing, and of course, Enrique.

It is a rare pleasure to be able to work with a construction company of such integrity. They all take a lot of pride in their work and it shows.

We will definitely be using them for any and all construction work we have in the future. We can’t recommend them enough!

We are happy with the outcome of our addition - it looks great. Appreciated the skilled contractors that did a great job with the detailed work and listened to requirements. Took a bit longer than expected but was worth the wait and we weren’t in a huge rush. Also nice folks to work with.

Accomplishing jobs that most cutting companies would not attempt

I do not like anytime you call, you have to go through an answering service. You can barely understand the person answering the phone, then they have to call you back. Spent 15 minutes relaying all my information (company name, email, phone number etc), even though I am already an established customer. Need a receptionist who can look me up by business name. This answering service seems to be newer,as I used to call in direct. not a Fan.

We worked with Nathan from REX on replacing our roof back in November. He was knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. When we did have questions he was very prompt and thorough in replying. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again for any repairs.
