Amazing service. I travel typically and so it's really difficult for me to have any type of electrician work done usually, but surge was able to help me with amazing customer service and was extremely flexible to help match my tough schedule. The work was done perfectly and everything was left clean and organized for a competitive price! I also spoke to the owner over the phone who was very polite and personable when handling my scheduling issues

Had an emergency breaker outage for our water heater and John came over very quickly to install a new breaker. Professional, courteous, and very reasonably priced. Happy to have an electrician in the area that I trust to call!

We moved in to a house of crazy electricity! We were replacing some outlets and found out through John that half of our upstairs was not grounded! One of the rooms we use as an office, so that was very scary. John was so responsive and fit us in so quickly to his schedule. Even when we found another outlet was not working, he can right away to make it right. I will continue to call him for all out electrical needs!!! Highly recommend!

Surge Electric has done work for myself, ex wife and others since 2003 from small to large jobs. They recently did some minor work for me so I feel I should reaffirm my satisfaction. The owner is the cleanest and most considerate of any trades persons I have ever dealt with. Not only is his work professional but he is mindful of your property using clean tarps and even wearing paper covers on his shoes so as not to track dirt in your house. In the past he has done major rewiring to include a 50 amp service and wiring to a shed in my back yard I turned into and office, Installing electric for my hot tub and too numerous to count electrical upgrades. Twice we have called Surge Electric with an emergency and both times they have come through for us. Once John came out on a Friday afternoon to fix a problem with our panel. Today, we had flames shooting out of an outlet, which almost started a fire. Brian put us first on his list. Did the job quickly. We were very appreciative.

I could not have been more pleased. When lights went off on the first floor of our two story home, John worked us in with a visit within 48 hours. He is a 5-star professional electrician who arrives with a well-equipped truck so he has what he needs at his fingertips.

In two hours, he replaced a nonworking GIF, replaced a blown circuit breaker, installed replacement LED bulbs in the second story outside lights up in the eaves and replaced wrongly-installed outside receptacles on the deck. The price he charged was very fair.

No question about it – he rates 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. He’s also been recommended by Angie’s List for the past eleven years.

Had a 14-50 plug installed in my garage for EV charging. They were able to get it installed quickly and no issues with permit / inspection. The work was done well and efficiently. Will definitely reach out for any future electrical needs.

Chatham Electric came out to my small healing arts studio to trouble shoot a problem that other electricians were unwilling to look at.
