Chris and Rodrigo finished our fireplace install and I could not be happier. They are both incredibly friendly and professional and walked me through every step of the process, even pointing and correcting some code issues so that the installation was completed safely. The entire experience with Mr. Smokestack was great and a special shout out to Chuck for bringing some additional material out to the job site so that everything could be completed in one day.

Excellent service from Mr Smokestack! Greg and his colleague came out to service/clean our gas fireplace. We moved into our house and have had trouble getting it to work. Greg was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. He explained everything that he was doing and went over how to maintain it for the future. They did a fantastic job cleaning the fireplace and cleaning up the area when they were done. We will definitely continue to use Mr Smokestack and Greg in the future!

Had a new fireplace installed during a renovation by Mr. Smoke Stack Chimney. Greg, the tech who installed it, was very knowledgeable. He made sure to thoroughly explain how everything works and the remote functions. Nearly 3 years later Greg came back to service the fireplace and was able to ensure the fireplace was still suitable for use. 5 star experience with Mr. Smokestack and specifically Greg. I would highly recommend this company for new installations or chimney cleaning services.

We have used Mr. Smokestack a couple times and they are wonderful to work with. We recently had Logan come out to clean out our dryer vent, inspect and sweep the chimney. He was very thorough and notified me of some of the issues he found during his inspection. Highly recommend using this company.

Logan and his colleague cleaned my gas fireplace and checked for gas leak and carbon monoxide leak. The gas fireplace is 26 years old and has never been cleaned. The pilot light was not staying lit and Logan diagnosed that I may need to replace the gas valve if this persists (he provided quote), but everything is working now. The two technicians made the fireplace look brand new and did excellent job cleaning up. Logan did a great job explaining everything to me and showing me how to light the pilot light again if necessary. I highly recommend.

Our technician, Greg, gave us a great overall assessment of the work needed to bring our neglected fireplace and chimney up to speed. He actually saved us a bit by changing our work ticket to match what “eyes on the ground” had discovered rather than my own assessment when I made the appointment. Greg also did a good job of explaining what work he was doing as he was doing it. I have a better understanding of the benefits of proper maintenance.

Mr. Smokestack provided me with a turnkey installation of my new fireplace insert. It was not necessary for me to hire separate contractors to perform electrical, gas, and insert parts of the work. The teams were professional, considerate, courteous, and just plain easy to work with. I would not hesitate to contact them should future needs arise.

I really appreciated their punctuality and clarity of explanations (without condescension). The resulting report was well documented with photos and explanations. Before finding Mr. Smokestack I tried using another chimney sweep service, which was not transparent and made me feel like they were pulling a fast one on me. I've been using Mr. Smokestack since 2016, and have had 2 homes inspected and serviced. Most recently, my in-home tech was Greg and he was phenomenal! From texting and arriving on time, to providing thorough explanations of everything he was seeing-- we really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail (including using a drop cloth and wearing booties in the house to protect our floors). Had Logan from Mr Smokestack come to inspect and sweep our chimney and also to clean our dryer vent. Logan was very pleasant, did a thorough job, and showed us pictures of what he found in the chimney. Also recommended what needed to be done to make it safe to use. We are considering converting to gas anyway and he explained a little about those options as well. Overall, a good experience!

Greg and Randy were fantastic. They were courteous and professional. And they troubleshooted the problem with my gas fireplace and it's working great now. And my three legged Rescue dog Miracle is very happy to be able to curl up next to the fireplace on a cold day.

We've had Mr. Smokestack out a couple of times now, once for a chimney inspection and cleaning, and once for a chimney crown repair. They're not the cheapest, but it's true we get what we pay for. They provide great communication from the time you book an appointment until the job is done. Their crews are on time and do excellent work.
