I contacted Statewide for quote on replacing my roof. I was directed to the owner of the company, Terry. One day later I had my formal quote. Terry had the heart of a teacher and helped me understand all line items in the agreement and what I was receiving before signing anything. I signed the angreement and only a few days later, I had a new roof. Statewide was very competitive on pricing and the execution was excellent.

Brian Williams responded within 24 hours of my inquiry, arrived on time, and prepared a detailed proposal on the spot. Much appreciated . He thoroughly explained the roofing product options, noted recent hail damage and advised next steps for filing an insurance claim. We are very satisfied with their service so far and look forward to getting our new roof installed asap!

Brian came out very promptly on time. Did a thorough inspection of my roof found missing shingles on my roof. I also have a hole in my roof from a tree, limb statewide roofing specialist is going to help me go through the insurance to get a new roof.

No Integrity, Dismissive, and Unprofessional Roofer!

In March 2024, I hired Statewide Roofing Specialist to repair the roof at my office that had some leak spots. Terry Cribbs, the owner, came out, gave an estimate, and eventually did the repair. They finished the project within that day and was paid promptly after.

In August 2024, Hurricane Debby came through Winston-Salem and I noticed 3 water spots on my ceiling tiles. I sent photos and expressed my concerns and requested someone come out to fix the leaks.

After a few correspondences with Mr. Cribbs and a couple of times of "I will send someone out tomorrow, or this date" no one ever came out. It turns out, unless you get the 5 or 10 years extended warranty, which I did not, they will not follow up on their workmanship. Despite the NC roofer law, all roofers are responsible to repair any defective or improper labor of their work for up to one year. He did not honor this law after 5 months of the repair.

Needless to say, there has been no communication with Statewide Roofer since August.

I am posting this review so that if anyone is looking for a roofer, just be mindful that if you don't get the extended warranty, you might not get any responses from the owner.

Hopefully, now that I have posted my experiences, maybe you will have a better experience and they will honor their work as they should. As a 20 plus years of a professional business owner, I stand by my work and Statewide Roofer, you should stand by your work and words as well.

**Response to owner*** I paid you 100% of the balance. I will be happy to post your quote, paid check amount and check #, and email correspondences regarding the declined of the extended warranty that somehow you assumed I agreed to, to rejog your memory. You are not honest about the due amount of "multiple thousand of dollars" making this sound like it's a huge project. This repair was less than $3,000 dollars, which was paid in full as stated above, the warranty was less than $2000, which I declined through email. So multipe thousands of dollars is a bit exaggrated. Give me your consent to post personal information that I mentioned above and we will see who is dishonest, untrustworthy, and unprofessional.

Terry and Brian were helpful with fixing my family's roof. They were very kind and efficient. They took the time to explain the process and easy to communicate.

Brian came out here The same day I called to schedule appointment. He found wind and hail damage on my roof and he is assisting me. I’m going through my insurance to get a new roof did a very thorough job on explaining everything.

Needed our roof repaired after a hail storm. Terry and Brian came out and took a look and helped us on how to get it fixed. They answered all our questions and worked with our insurance company to get it fixed. They did a nice job with the repair and all debris was cleaned up in our yard.

After a friend pointed out a likely roof problem to me following a recent storm, I contacted Statewide. Within 24 hours, Brian Williams responded to me and made an appointment to evaluate my roof the following day. He did a thorough evaluation and made a point to explain the results to me. He spent a great deal of time making sure I understood both the issues with my current roof and the benefits of different tiers or levels of shingles offered with regard to how they would meet my needs. Brian is knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and responsive.

I also received detailed estimates for two options within 24 hours of the evaluation and Brian scheduled a meeting with me to go over the benefits of each in detail, as well as to provide samples and locations where I could view recent work. Statewide was highly recommended to me by people I respect and trust and my experience with them to date has been far superior to a past experience with another local company that really pushed hard-sell tactics.

I greatly appreciate Brian’s patience and the options he laid out for me and look forward to continuing to work with him.

We contacted Statewide Roofing Specialists in Thomasville, NC, based on a recommendation of a friend who had just had a roof replaced by them. They delivered on the glowing recommendation. We needed a quick turn-around to replace our roof, damage from several windstorms recent. Other roofers we contacted were weeks out, if they were willing to give us a bid at all. Statewide willingly brought their bid down to what our insurance company offered (plus my deductible) and for very little more, upgraded from 25-year 3-tab to GAF architectural shingles with a lifetime, non-prorated and fully transferable warranty on product and labor. They were here the first dry day after we signed the contract, finished the entire job in one day, did a great job, took extra steps to protect our house and did a fabulous job of cleaning up the mess that is part of the job - including running two magnets around to pick up all the nails that escaped from removing the old roof. This is a business that operates with integrity and delivers on their promise of excellent customer service!

Needed repair done on roof .called them and Brian came out same day .he took pics of the problem areas and had a crew out here in 2 days. They had repair done in no time and he even took video to show us repairs. He is very courteous, professional and definetly done a awesome job. If anyone needs roof work i highly recommend Statewide Roofing Specialist. Its hard to find a company who takes time to cover everything needed with you and take pictures to show you before and after job.

I contacted Terry from Statewide Roofing on 7-13-22 he came out the next day to give me an estimate and some knowledge on my roof. On 7-15-22 bright and early he was here getting the job done. Initially i thought i had a leak comming from inside my home but water was finding its way in my home thru the roof. I have a pretty good roof about 30yr life span but i have some spaces in my shingles. He filled the spaces in and also cleaned my gutters. After the job was done i had real pictures of the work. If its safe to say i found me a roofer. And he blew the leaves off my gutters. I will use him in future and also for some Gutter Gaurds. THANK YOU TERRY FOR ALL YOUR WORK 😎

Communication with Brian Williams of Statewide , and our insurance adjuster and us was very good. The team that came to install the roof worked smoothly and efficiently . I was stunned the roof was completed in 1 day. The roof looks fabulous. Our only complaint was how long it took to get the inside work completed. When it was finally done it looked great.
