These people took 60,000 of my moms insurance money after a fire in March 2025, did no work about 1,000 spent on electrical wiring and has KEPT 60,000!!!!!They have NO contractors license to operate in NC !! DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAMMERS!! These people lied until fired in JULY it’s now September 2025 and STILL REFUSE TO HIVE MY MOM Back her money!! THIEVES!!! SCAMMERS!!!! LIARS!!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!!!WE have hired a lawyer and they still refuse to return her money!!! They lie about what a 212 .00dollar dumpster cost trying to charge 2,000 some dollars for a dumpster they sent to property AFTER THEY WERE FIRED!!!! ALL CHARGES ARE LIES AND HYPER INFLATED!!! They steal from elderly old ladies and take advantage of elderly!!!! It forced me to give a star. They deserve to be out of business and Zero stars!!

If I could give zero stars I would! This place is an absolute joke. They constantly gave us the run around. Then they also stole 5k from us saying that we owed it to them, but we talked to our insurance guy and he said that we did not owe them that money. Mind you we already paid them close to 17k for just having the floor in the house re-done. And they were supposed to do the laundry room but after they ripped the floor all the way out to the ground they said they couldn't do it, but still took the 5k. They also said they were going to put new insolation under the house but never did.
All in all we paid them over 20 thousand dollars just for them to do the floor in the house only to have them not finish the work, and steal our money.
It's also bad when this place can get in contact with your insurance when they need it but we can't.
Stay away from this shady company.
They will find a way to take your money and not finish the work!

Chris Williams was the ServPro Representative that worked on my property. He was very professional in each and every interaction. He communicated directly with me through every step of the process, so I always knew what to expect and what the next steps would be. He was quick to respond anytime I had a question, and did so so in a friendly and polite manner. His main concern was doing his job completely and correctly so our property could be restored as soon as possible. We did meet some challenges and holdups dealing with an insurance adjuster. Which Chris navigated with grace. I appreciated him and his crew, Korie Hambie, for the work they did on my home. And would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of this service.

Miranda and her team did excellent work for my mother’s house! She helped us with the adjuster, walked us through the process and made sure we were taken care of the entire process. Thank you Servpro

After seeing this review the manager, Austin, reached out to us. He said that they have changed the staff at the office recently and he wanted to make things right by us. So he sent another team and they have cleaned up the area to our satisfaction. So I am changing th review to 5 stars.

Mitigation job was done poorly. Sent pictures to the office email to show them the shoddy work. Was told they will call us back. It has been weeks and we haven’t heard anything.

Called looking for a free estimate for our home mold and water damage project. Was told $300 to to access the mold issue and $600 to identify the water issue. This was just to come out. We have already recieved free esitmates and we are looking at several thousand dollars of work, including demo and restoration. We are comparing prices, which is the smart avenue to take on any project. A company this large should be offering free estimates instead of over charging just to come out and identify. If a company is willing to overcharge this blatently just to identify a problem then they will overcharge and scam the customer on the main project too.

During one of our worst moments, ServePro was truly there for us. Justin Bennett helped us navigate our house fire restoration with empathy and professionalism. He was always punctual and followed through on everything promised. Miranda Carey took exceptional care of our belongings and when they were returned, they were as good as new. Both Justin and Miranda treated us like family. Justin went above and beyond for us. We had no idea how to pick up the pieces or where to begin. With Justin’s guidance we were able to get our lives back to normal in less time than we expected. ServePro is more than a company. They are friends that you never knew you had.

We had a house fire Jan.15 of this year. We had no clue how to handle the situation. Three months went by contacting builder/contractors with few answers or advice on what to do next. Then a miracle happened a friend of friend on Facebook told us to call Betty Vanhoy at Servpro. They immediately came to the rescue. James Otterberg inspected planned advised explained and organized the whole process much to our relief and what was left of our sanity. The whole team is professional experienced friendly quick and will help you with any question you might have. They also deal with the insurance people which is a plus.

Gavin & his team were prompt, professional & very knowledgeable about what needed to be done with the water damage to my bedroom ceiling. He explained the process, answered all questions that I had & even helped with an issue I had outside with my gutters. He let me know they have a contractor that works with them & also gave me an estimate about when the restoration would start. I would use this company again and will also recommend them to friends & family.

Just needed a piece of siding popped back in and secured, and after a little scheduling back and forth, came out and fixed it perfectly! Great folks here, and great service! Will use again!

These guys scheduled us for an appointment time that they did not uphold. I didn't find out they would be a "no show" until I called them. After I called, then they told me they must cancel. They rescheduled us for another appointment; once again, they never showed up or called. My wife then called and sent a text to attempt a rescheduled appointment; however, once again, they did not call us back. However I gave them one star because when I met the crew they were very friendly and even cleaned out one of my gutters while doing the estimate.

Colby’s team is awesome. They take the time to explain the repairs and even go above and beyond to check other things. They checked my gutters while replacing some roof shingles. Thanks again guys!

I own Secore Construction and we do a lot of things, but we don't do gutters. We contact Colby's home repairs whenever we need gutters. They are very professional and never let us down.

I had a recent injury and was unable to fix a recent issue with my gutters due to a broken foot and wrist. Colby came out within a few hours and fixed the issue for a reasonable price. I would use them again for other services I need.

Colby's home repairs has done numerous jobs for my parents,Roof worh,Gutters replaced and some wood work.They won't use anybody else.Very professional and quality work.we highly recommend them for any and all your home repair needs

These guys are 100% professional, timely, and most importantly they keep an open line of communication before and during the the entire process. The grounds of my home remained clean and debris free of old nails, old shingle pieces, and wood shavings which is VERY important to me as I have a 1 year old who loves the outside. I highly recommend them for roofing and gutter work to anyone!

Not good. Tried and tried to get him to do work. Gave me a quote and then never showed up again. Called and called. Missed appointments and missed expectations. A lot of excuses. Ended up spending 33k with someone else to do the work. Wasted my time and energy. Seemed like a real nice guy tho.

Had our gutters replaced along with gutter guards. Very professional folks, quote was exact and reasonable. The installation perfect. Left sight spotless. When it is time to replace our roof they will the folks we call. Thank You

Tried to get Colby's home repairs to perform some work for me at my house. Tried calling the number listed on the website, but did not get an answer, and his voicemail was full. I sent Colby a text explaining what I needed and he responded asking for more details. After responding, I could not get Colby to text me back. I moved on to another company.

I only had a few minor repairs and a few patch jobs needed, and considering what I needed wasnt a major job or a rush, these guys still worked with my unpredictable traveling schedule, worked me in between stops of their bigger jobs, took the time to answer every question, and took the time to check a few extra things before leaving the house and charged less than a few other big names on pricing while leaving seamless, clean repairs.

Like most people, before making a call I read the reviews, and kept an open mind that there will always be someone who isn't satisfied with anything. I'll let everyone know that they were the first in line returning my call. It's up to each individual to form their own opinion of how a business or service provider meets their own respective needs. My expectations were more than met, by his crew and himself.

When its time to replace my roof in its entirety, they'll be getting that phone call too.
