Andrew came out to check our water pressure and to make sure there wasn't any leaks. Our water pressure has been down for the last week or so and we wanted to make sure it wasn't behind the wall. He also replaced our head, spout, and handle in our shower. He was friendly and knowledgeable and got the work done quickly and professionally.

Well it was no easy task what Jared and Andrew had to do but I’m so thankful they were sent out to fix this situation. Jared’s understanding , informative, helpful, kind , caring about the great work he did. There isn’t anyone I wouldn’t reach out to fix . Andrew was also so kind , caring informative and so helpful and understanding . We are truly grateful that this situation was finally resolved.

What a great experience! Our tank went out and had a new one installed with the hot water flowing within 24 hours!! No mess, perfect install and so friendly! I HIGHLY recommend J&J Plumbing! Alex and Adam L were so professional and friendly, explained everything and answered ALL our questions!!

I’ve used JEM Plumbing several times for residential work. They have always been professional and helpful. Kevin and Caleb replaced a cartridge in the shower valve. They did everything in a timely manner and provided me with good information for future reference. I highly recommend Jem for any of your plumbing needs.

Very prompt, courteous, and friendly service, but truth be told, J&J was in over their heads when they said they could come out and service my mini-split HVAC system. I even went so far as to tell them what I believed the issue was (a small leak at a schrader valve that caused my refrigerant to be low and prevent sufficient heat cycling). They sent out a technician to my home, and he said he thought it was full and didn't want to test it since the system is critically charged. They charged me a little over $200 for the call, but literally accomplished nothing.

Less than a week later, I had a more experienced individual come out to see the unit, and it turns out I was 100% correct. I was low on refrigerant and they added two pounds - my unit went back to functioning perfectly.

I appreciate their expedient service and friendliness, but they literally took my money for nothing even though I had properly diagnosed the issue for them in advance.

I would recommend you consider a different service provider if you have a mini-split system.

EDIT 01/08 - I appreciate the response J&J provided, but walking away from a system that's not functioning and doing nothing to repair it is not an "approach" that I would consider acceptable from my technicians.

I could go further into how the subsequent technician did not simply "top off" my system, but it's not really relevant. Truth be told, J&J did not know how to service my system. The technician they sent even apologized that they didn't know what to do and it was a more sophisticated system than they had seen before.

If the equipment is beyond the scope of what you're comfortable working on, that's absolutely fine and understandable. Going out, charging someone money to do NOTHING, is not.

Darnell serviced our furnace today, and we couldn’t be happier. He is polite, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and highly skilled. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel confident in the work being done. From now on, we would like Darnell to handle all of our plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. Thank you, Darnell, for your excellent service and for taking such great care of us.

Cade & Csaba were recently in our office for an estimate, we were lucky they told us they could get everything done right then and there! They even offered to do a few extra things while waiting to finish the job. They cleaned up after themselves very quietly and efficiently. We’ve used this company 3 times and we highly recommend them! Don’t hesitate to give them a call.

Jack was professional from start to finish. He was very up front with us to set expectations for an after hours call. He was prepared with all equipment necessary. He assessed the problem and found a solution for our situation. Respectful and courteous, he even cleaned up any debris before he departed. Would highly recommend this company as they were prompt and efficient in addressing our after hours situation.

Scott W an electrician from J&J Heating, Cooling, & Electrical was very professional and methodical in his troubleshooting and repair for my after hours service call. He offered solutions from total repair if he could find a replacement part to a temporary repair to get me through the weekend till he could find a replacement. With the help of his manager and a fellow co-worker he was able to locate a replacement part on a late very cold Friday night. Scott had my service restored and J&J helped facilitate this repair from Akron to Elyria to Lorain.

24/7 service when you need it! Dave R was an exceptional electrician and provided outstanding service during an emergency situation over the holidays. He was thorough, explained all the electrical work that needed to be done, carefully went over the costs, and answered all our questions. Top notch service. From the initial call to the end of service, everyone was professional, clear, and genuinely caring. Cade R worked with Dave in finishing up the install. Another fantastic employee of J&J.

Jared and Andrew were excellent. They installed our new water softener quickly and took plenty of time to explain its functions. More than that, they were probably the friendliest plumbers I've ever met. I can't say enough about the great service we got from J and J Plumbing. I highly recommend them.

Scott W. and Jacob were also phenomenal! They installed new electric circuits quickly and have made a world of difference in my workshop. Both electricians were friendly, competent, and made me realize right away that I had made the correct choice by hiring J&J to do the work.

I absolutely recommend this company! When I called Rachel asked what she could do to make me smile and she delivered!! I got lucky with a same day appointment which was my first smile. My second was Andrew Z coming out and making all my leaks disappear. He was super friendly, courteous, and willing to answer all my questions. Thank you Andrew Z and Rachel for making me smile and making a bad day better. I highly recommend and will be going back for any future needs I might have!

Excellent experience from1st phone call. Shanden was very efficient, knowledgeable and polite. He had to replace all drain pipes under my bathroom sink. It was not the easiest job. He was patient and made sure the job was done right. Explained everything as he went along. My drain has never worked this well. I would definitely recommend J&J plumbing. I will call them again.

Thank you for sending THE BEST plumber I've ever dealt with! Doug is personality plus and knows what he's talking about. He's straight up and honest. Doesn't try to push anything on me. Is well aware of the fact that I have a remodeling project in the near future so supplied me with the type of faucet I wanted for that project. Will not have to replace that component! Yahoo! As a first time customer I had a great experience with J&J. Scott C and Jake A were great; they were friendly and professional. I was impressed with how clean they worked. It was a big project and I felt the price was reasonable. Thank you also to Doug B who came out afterward to fix a very minor leak; he was super nice!

We needed a plumber the same day we called and at first they weren’t able to accommodate us but called us back (without requesting that) to let us know a tech had become available so that started the service off wonderfully. Jan was awesome and very helpful. He worked quickly and was kind and explained everything. We will definitely be requesting him with our future projects, we plan on staying with this company!

I called J&J on a day where the outside temperature was in the single digits and to fix the incompetence of another HVAC company. They came out to my house, same day, did not charge an inflated fee and the tech, Austin, was super friendly, professional and diagnosed the true problem quickly. Austin had my furnace up and running the same day even though the full fix required a part to be ordered. When the part came in a week or so later, Austin himself came back to make sure the part was installed properly and everything was working. I couldn’t be happier with J&J’s communication, fair pricing and Austin was a phenomenal technician. I will be using J&J for all things HVAC in the future - great job!!

J&J was a great experience through and through. My technician Darnell was incredibly friendly and courteous, from his phone call while on route to my home, to sharing small talk as fathers while he worked, to shaking hands as he left. He was very informative as well, giving me more knowledge about my home's furnace and maintenance.
Even in the current winter we're having, I was able to get service in less than 24 hours. I will gladly be calling J&J again for future maintenance and trouble with my homes needs.

Plumber was young and joyful as he arrived at the earlier end of our appointment window after calling for a twenty minute "warning". Patrick was attentive to covering, uncovering, and recovering his shoes as he moved through our house and back to the van to get necessary supplies as the job progressed. He also took care in taking before and after photos and protecting the carpet and flooring in or near the workspace. He used professional and family friendly language even when encountering "rough spots" or surprises ;-) . He fixed our issue thoroughly, yet efficiently. Thanks!
