Darnell installed a humidifier for me. Was super kind and personable. Work was completed professionally within a timely manner. Price was well worth the service provided.

We had an emergency with our well pump. Brad was out within 30 minutes. Quickly assessed the issues and got it repaired right away. Very thankful for the 24 hour service.

Thank you to Ron and Ben for the fast prompt service. They were able to get our sink fixed quickly and cleaned up without any mess left behind.

They came and charged a $165 dollar diagnostic fee to quote. They didn’t diagnose anything because I told them exactly what I needed done. So there was no real diagnosis. The quote they provided was also overpriced and not accurate. They quoted $870 to replace a shower valve that I had already bought. So it didn’t even included the material.

Almost $800 for a simple toilet fill valve replacement that took 30 minutes. Not an emergency call. For that price I should have got two brand new toilets installed. 2 stars for doing the work on time.

Update: Customer rep called and we were able to come to an agreement.

We enjoyed having them remodel our bathroom. The walk through was indepth and answered all our concerns. Estimate and what we paid was fair, even with the added work that needed to be done on our very old house. They made sure to ask about placement of safety features we needed and how we function in our bathroom. Chip and his team was considerate of our house and time.

My sink was leaking, called H Jacks and within the hour they were. Larry and Dylan were super nice and courteous and did a phenomenal job! Thank you!!

Came out quickly on a Sunday for emergency toilet back up. Ken was pleasant, efficient and considerate. I was very pleased

Called them out to confirm the issue with my water heater , while here attempted to tell my wife our tank was out of warranty and needs a gas valve quoted 900 dollars or a new tank. I called another company, this company proceeded to tell me that my tank had warranty till 2027 and helped me in submitting the claim. They also quoted me the same repair for 500 if i did not go through the warranty claim. I feel Jack's were taking advantage of the situation and fed my wife a flat lie. Would NOT reccomend.

Highly recommended for sure Chip and Steve were very polite and respectful and gave me a lot of information that was very well needed and pricing was reasonable for install thank you guys!!!

Steve and Larry came out same day as I called on a Sunday morning with my toilets being clogged. I have a wife and 8 week old newborn at home and this needed action right away. I called John Langer, the man, and he brought Steve and Larry out same day about an hour after I called. 5 star service. Larry & Steve, 5 star service in being professional as well as helping get my house unclogged.

Ben and Zach did a wonderful job with plumbing repair. They were knowledgeable and were able to fix the issue quickly. I didn’t feel like they were trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and get me to pay for services that weren’t truly needed.

In October, I contacted H Jack to replace my hot water tank. The tank itself was fully covered under warranty, so neither I, nor H Jack paid for the unit. I coordinated directly with the manufacturer, who had the replacement ready for pickup the same day.

I understood I would need to pay for labor, and H Jack quoted me just under $1,500 for labor only (receipt attached showing the tank was provided by customer). While I felt the quote was high, it was an emergency situation, I was home alone, and I didn’t have a clear understanding at the time of what a reasonable labor cost should be. Given the urgency, I accepted the quote and paid in full.

Afterwards, I mentioned the replacement to colleagues and family and was consistently told that the amount I was charged was significantly higher than typical for the same service. Many people I spoke with paid less than I did for both the tank and labor combined. I also called around for quotes after the fact and was repeatedly quoted $500–$600 for labor only for a similar replacement. Edit: This was the exact same tank already in the house, this wasn’t a tankless conversion. This is also in a completely open basement, so the install was not difficult or restricted in any way.

H Jack had two technicians on site, and the work took approximately three hours total, including cleanup, which works out to roughly $500 per hour. While I acknowledge that I could have researched more beforehand, the pricing felt especially concerning after noticing that although the reviews are mostly positive, many of the company’s one-star reviews describe similar situations involving women who were home alone during the quoting process. My father was present during the work itself, but not when the quote was given. Plus, I believe the responsibility to charge fairly and ethically should ultimately fall on the company itself.

The technicians were polite, professional, and completed the work well. However, I cannot in good faith recommend a company that over charges at this absurd level for a labor-only water heater replacement. I am not seeking a refund—this review is simply meant as a warning to others: research extensively, get multiple quotes if possible, and if a price feels too high, speak up before agreeing. Trust your instincts.

Our main drain got backed up due to roots, I got quick and great same day service from Ron and Ben. They were polite, patient, explained everything, and got the job done.

I just had Phil come out to my house and snake out my sewer drain. He was fast courteous. I think he did an excellent job. And I appreciate and we'll be using this company. Anytime I have a plumbing issue.
