Reviews of local pros in Akron, Ohio

We were getting quoted to have our A/C, furnace and whole house humidifier replaced. After reading google reviews I contacted Aaron. He was able to come the same day to discuss options. Aaron presented a very competitive quote. The whole process from the first call to install was very smooth. Aaron and his team are professional, courteous and pay great attention to detail. We really enjoyed working with Novak Heating & Cooling and would highly recommend them to our family and friends.

Ron & Aaron did a great job, we’re on time!
Completed the job replacing our water heater in a few hours. Very neat & polite.
Would recommend them!

Aaron was very informative on the phone and answered right away on a Saturday evening when my furnace broke. He took the time to walk me through some basic troubleshooting steps and was upfront about pricing and options. I scheduled an appointment to inspect the furnace and Dun Jie came out the next day, on time and super professional. He walked me through the fix (flame sensor as always) and showed me some steps I could take to fix it in the future. I’ve had nothing but trouble with Blind & Sons and Jennings but Novak was the exact opposite. I’ll be using them again for all my HVAC/Furnace needs in the future. 10 out of 10!!

Just had an AC installed by Dylan & Ephrem with Novak Heating & Cooling and they did a great job - on time, done quickly, and very friendly alltogether. The pricing was the best of the quotes we got and ultimately I'm happy to go with a local business instead of a national chain.

Also thank you for the coffee giftbag! Akron Coffee Roasters is one of our go-tos and it was a pleasant surprise to get some beans for them.

Aaron and his team were very responsive. Had an emergency situation with two dangerous furnaces that needed to be replaced. Responded same day and came in with the best quote. Removed and replaced both units the next morning and gave me all of the registration paperwork already submitted. Outstanding.

Just last week, I had Novak Heating & Cooling replace a furnace and A/C unit at my house. They arrived on time, performed an awesome install, and the price was very reasonable. There is no doubt that I will use them again! Edit: Just this week, once again, I had Novak Heating & Cooling install two mini-splits in my mobile home and addition. They arrived on time handing me a bag of coffee and a coffee mug. I have hired other service companies over the years, but I have never experienced the kindness and compassion from anyone else. From the owner to his employees, they are a great group of people and very meticulous with their work. Thank you again for your great service! I will be recommending them to all of my family members and friends.

Clay and Dun Jie were both friendly and efficient. They diagnosed the problem and had the system back up and running in no time. They didn’t try to oversell us anything, went out of their way to get us the lowest price possible. We are extremely happy with their knowledge and expertise. Our home is warm again!

Would like to Thank Novak Heating and his employee Sarah for coming in this freezing cold to figure out my heating needs. They were informative, helpful, and friendly. I recommend to anyone. It happened to be my thermostat but they checked everything. Thanks

Dylan & Ephrun was amazing i got all my system from them reasonable price and super chill and professional

Aaron is very honest and goes out of his way to provide the best customer service possible. There are very few contractors out there like this anymore. I would trust him again and refer him to anyone else looking for HVAC services without another thought!

Ron and Clay from Novak Heating and Cooling were on time-very early AM, got down to business and completed the task in less time than initially stated. Both guys are down to earth and friendly. We are very happy to have found Novak Heating and Cooling. Professional company, hard workers and reasonable rates. We can already breathe much better after having our vents cleaned. Do yourself a favor and get this done in your home; especially if you suffer from seasonal allergies. Yes, we have had them out again for this service after they replaced our furnace. Not sure why my name shows up differently but I am same person who submitted review four months ago!

The whole crew at Novak Heating and Cooling were amazing. The owner was very helpful in helping us make a decision along with very competitive pricing. The technicians Ephrem and Dylan couldn’t have been nicer and answered all questions asked. Very happy with our new furnace installation.

Dylan, Clayton and Ephram did an excellent job on installing my new furnace and ac. They were very knowledgeable and professional on this installation. I highly recommend Novak heating and cooling. The service, pricing and communication was above outstanding. Thank Aaron and crew for everything!!!

Amazing Company, amazing crew. Furnace went out on coldest day of the year, Aaron was out the next day. Very transparent and honest with issues being experienced. Conclusion was a new furnace was needed. Aaron got me over pricing that night for it and had it ordered and arranged for install in under 48 hours. Class act guys and company. Thank you Aaron, Ron,Juston and Ephrem.

The Novak crew from start to finish were very knowledgeable and helpful. After our AC went out at home, it felt impossible gathering so many quotes and gauging experience from all the different companies in Akron. After an extensive search and about a year of waiting and researching, we came upon Novak Heating & Cooling and were very pleased with the various replacement scenarios offered, product comparisons, and working with us in person and over the phone to get our AC replaced. They were very fast with getting equipment ordered and installing the system. I also greatly appreciated the follow up to make sure we were happy with how our new ducted min split system was performing. Everything is working great and I cannot recommend them enough!

Great service. First time using after my long time Vendor tried scamming me on two new furnaces. Novaks had me up and running immediately with a simple fair price fix. When my old vendor told me it would take weeks for a replacement part. Novaks is me new hearing and cooling vendor for my houses.

Second time I've used Novak, and they came through again!
Woke up to a house that was 53* because the furnace motor quit. They got someone out to us within less than 15 minutes, and they came back within an hour to install a new motor. Always friendly, helpful and did the job well! Thanks, NOVAK!

So happy that I went with Novak Heating & Cooling for the replacment of my furnace. They did a great job, at a great price and I couldn't be more pleased.
The locally-made gift at the end of the job was a nice touch!
I highly recommend this company!

I called for furnace maintenance as winter is coming.... Aaron was very nice and they were out that week! Ron was the technician who did the work and he was very polite, punctual, and knowledgeable. The service was so good, I decided to pull The trigger and purchase a central air unit! These guys are fantastic and I couldn't be happier!!! Ron and Dylan came out 3 days later and installed the AC unit. I have air, everything is nice and clean and install beautifully and these guys are just amazing!

Aaron and his team recently installed a 5-zone Mitsubishi heat pump system in our old Lakewood home and we could not be happier. He and his team are professional and personable. They do a great job of talking you through the process and consulting you as needed. They were extremely efficient in their install, despite encountering some tricky circumstances which are typical in an old home like this. The experience was excellent, the install looks incredibly clean, and the pricing was very fair. We absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work!

Novak Heating and Cooling are total pros. I believe in trusting the experts, and Novak is entirely trustworthy. They are fast, knowledgeable, and dependable. Grateful for them getting our house warmed up with a new furnace in time for Winter.
