Blake and his team did a great job installing my new furnace and ac. They were prompt, courteous and accommodating to my questions. Lakes has good people throughout the organization.

Needed to have my furnace looked at. Called Lakes Heating and Cooling. They were out to my home the following day. Zack was awesome as their technician. He serviced my unit, answered all my questions, and explained what he needed to do. Appreciated the experience as I had sporadic heat. Thank you, Zack and Lakes Heating and Cooling.

I had an emergency at my home where heating was lost on a winter day. I contacted Lakes and there was a technician here within hours that same day. Zach Woods is a very highly skilled extremely knowledgeable HVAC technician. I am an electrical engineer and licensed PE, so I recognize talent and knowledge when I see it. He worked very patiently for two hours to solve a very difficult problem with my geothermal heat pump. He was finally successful in pinpointing the exact faulty component and from there it was easy to replace it and get back in business. I can’t say enough about Zach Woods’ skills or the responsiveness of Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning. They are true professionals, and got me out of trouble as they have in the past very quickly.

I called three HVAC contractors out to give me an estimate. They were the only one who brought to my attention that the chimney my water heater exhausts into was not up to Ohio code. The salesman seemed to insist that Lakes does things right and simply will not conduct business any other way. I checked on the typical price for a chimney liner install by itself, and Lakes pricing for my new furnace, WITH THE CHIMNEY LINER, was STILL IN LINE with the other two estimates WITHOUT IT. The installer in charge who came to my house worked his tail off, and was teaching another. I believe he did a very good job and I trust their work will be reliable. The area foreman Mike, also stopped in to check his crews progress or needs, and was personable, and is appreciated by me as well. He came back a few days later with the fasteners needed to attach the furnace cover to the 2-stage Lennox I purchased, that for some reason weren't in the box this time. Lakes also provided me with a furnace surge protector, gratis, because I didn't have a dedicated circuit for my previous HE furnace, and blew two mother boards in it in only 6 months time. They ALSO installed a CONCENTRIC intake/exhaust PVC, which resulted in them NOT having to put another hole in my brick house for an intake pipe that was not installed previously, but should have been. The other contractors did not promise one.
Also, a VERY LARGE thanks goes out to the pro who climbed on my steeply pitched roof, THE MORNING AFTER 5 inches of snow fell, and STILL installed the chimney liner THAT SAME DAY. The only miscue was that someone removed a 3 ft. length of pink insulation from the joist sill, and took it with them as trash, even though I had RESCUED it once ALREADY, when I found it outside by the truck in an empty box. Put it back in my house on the sofa, but the chief installer must have grabbed it again on his final trip out the house when I wasn't looking!
Oh, one more thing. This homes owners financing application was NOT approved by Lake's third party financier, even though he has an EXCELLENT credit rating. I'm not sure why that happened, but has caused some extra lifting on this end....

Our technician, Joshua Lawhorn, was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He first asked if any questions or issues with our furnace. We were pleased his adjustment to the humidifier was perfect, no more moisture on kitchen windows. Joshua made sure to turn thermostat back to our setting, his wearing shoe coverings was much appreciated, as well. Highly recommend.

Zach is an extremely knowledgeable Technician. Very thorough and educated me about the process. He explained how our system works and described several upgrades that may benefit us. Excellent service. Lakes is running a very good promotion on the Service contracts. We are taking advantage of the deal. Based on Zachs high value service, we will continue our contract into the future.

Thankful for Blake and his team. They were able to come out on short notice and replace our furnace. Very easy to work with. And they do good work.

Our service technician from Lakes Heating, Brynn Laser, was very knowledgeable and professional. Brynn answered all questions in a courteous/professional manner. Brynn found a blower capacitor reading below spec and informed me the part was still under warranty, so I had it replaced, saving money in the long run. I highly recommend Brynn and Lakes Heating for your HVAC needs!

AWESOME to work with. Called them and they came out the next day. Nick quickly found the problem with the furnace and was able to clean the part and get it working again. I will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs.

Tom and the other gentleman (sorry, I didn't get his name) were great! They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and honest. They diagnosed the issues, and recommended a solution that was best for our situation, not just what could get them additional sales today. That is why I will DEFINITELY be calling them back when we can solve our problem in the spring.

Jake was incredibly professional and very efficient. He diagnosed the problem within five minutes and the repair was done in 10 minutes. Within an hour, our house was back up to the temperature. It was supposed to be in. We are very thankful. Great job, Jake!

Zack Woods has the patience of a saint! He worked in unpleasant surroundings to get my furnace up and running on the coldest day of the season (so far). He kept me informed of the steps he took. The entire process with Lakes Heating and Cooling was amazing. The initial phone call to set the appt was very efficient. The first technician to come out was Jake and he was very professional and helpful. Mickey then came out to give us an estimate (which was almost exactly what Jake told us). Mickey was awesome gave us a few options to consider. Once decided Denvir and crew came to do the new furnace installation. They were super efficient and completed sooner than expected. Looking back, all three appointments showed up on time and were very professional. The entire process was completed in 4 business days. I could not be happier. Highly recommend the entire team.

Jake was excellent. He always explains everything that he did. This time he did a maintenance check on my furnace for winter. I always buy the special package each year that covers the maintenance checks for my furnace (heat) and A/C which is a great deal. I did not pay anything today. Great company and great customer service.

Brynn and Maddox came out and performed yearly maintenance. Seemed knowledgeable and were friendly. They some good recommendations. They spent a good amount of time here, which made me feel like they took their time and did a thorough inspection. Overall it was a good experience

I've used Lake's Heating and Air Conditioning for several years and today was exceptional! Zach, one of their technicians who hadn't been to my home before, delivered outstanding customer service from start to finish.

He called ahead to let me know he was on the way, reviewed what the appointment would include, and work efficiently. He answered all my questions, explained everything he completed and emailed my invoice right away. I typically sign up for their maintenance plan, and today's service was a noticeable improvement compared to some past visits.

Mr. Taylor of Lakes came out promptly and restored our heat in short order. He checked a few other things on the furnace and made the necessary adjustments. I very much appreciate his professionalism and friendly nature. He explained things very well. Thanks again.

Nick was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Did his due diligence in looking over my furnace to try and assess the problem. Ran multiple tests to properly diagnose. Called on a weekend and they were very quick to come out.

Tom came out to my home to repair my kitchen faucet and address another issue I was having in the laundry room. The kitchen faucet was repaired and is working efficiently now. Hooray! I also asked him to show me the main shut off for the water from my well. He addressed the issue in my laundry room and work was scheduled quickly. Tom was very attentive to my requests and questions. I will be calling Lakes for future plumbing issues. I already you Lakes for my geo maintenance. Very happy!
