I had a back up in my septic line and some plumbing that needed to be rerouted. Dennis came out on time and very professional. He found the problems right away and gave different options very reasonable quote to fix the issues. I will be having them do the work for me.
UPDATE: The work has been done and couldn’t be happier. Dennis and his crew fixed multiple problems for me and they did it quick and were very neat. Would highly recommend.

I am honestly surprised at having to write this review. Avon Lake Plumbing came highly recommended and had great online reviews. We received an estimate for work needed in August. Due to our highly hectic and busy schedules (and after seeking out other quotes to complete our due diligence), we were finally able to schedule. We called about 2 weeks ago and secured an appointment on Friday, 11/19/21. We had lines to be replaced in our basement, as well as something to be fixed on our H20 tank, and a toilet and bathroom sink drain fix. On Thursday, 11/18/21 they called to say they couldn't come Friday due to an emergency. We understood and accepted an appointment for today, 11/23. I phoned yesterday, 11/22 to ensure we were still scheduled for today between 10-12. We rearranged our schedules as well as other scheduled work at our home for this. The woman in the office said "absolutely. You're still on schedule for tomorrow. We will call when on our way". Today at 9:30am (30 min before the beginning of our appointment window), she called to say they can no longer come and they will have to re-do the estimate since it has been longer than 60 days since the estimate. I asked her to phone my husband to explain to him. She did, and ended up placing Dennis on the phone. He actually told my husband that it wasn't on "his" schedule to be here because he was somewhere else, that we probably "can't afford the work needs to be done" and that we "wasted his concrete guy's time" (we saw him at a neighbor's house putting in a turnaround and asked if he could give a rough estimate on our house for the same). The quote given in August does not state anywhere that it expires after a certain time. Further, we are completely confused since we are basically begging to give them our business and they are doing everything they can to not take the business. Finally, when is it ok to insult someone? They canceled on us twice, then insulted us! If we were simply told we needed a new quote, we would have gladly said "no problem" and moved forward. Yet to cancel on us twice then insult us when asking to update our quote is unacceptable. I'm just in shock. We've never been treated like this! I hope this is an isolated incident because I would hate for others to be treated this way.

Was very professional and although he had a rough time trying to snake the drain (an older one) he tried over and over until it worked!! I was very satisfied.

Paul found and repaired a gas leak where a gas line for the outdoor gas grill was hooked into at the meter. After disconnecting that line he tested all the lines in the house and had everything working safely. Very knowledgeable, courteous and all at a very good price. Will definitely call them for all my plumbing needs.

I’ve been using Avon Lake plumbing for the past 4 years. Just had the my shower/bath pipes replaced. They did an excellent job. Very happy with the quality of the work and the fairness of the price. Thank you!

Dennis removed the object in our drain pipe easily and quickly. We have used Avon Lake plumbing for various jobs for our house and are always happy with the service.

Avon Lake Plumbing came and replaced 2 of my toilets and were able to get me on their schedule THE NEXT DAY!!! Not only that, but they were in and out of my house within an hour and a half and were very clean. Even took our old toilets with them and the boxes the new ones came in. I would absolutely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. I will be using them in the future for any plumbing needs. Fast and efficient!

Called about a leaky faucets in our shower. Dennis came out and determined he needed to order parts. When the parts came in, he called and repaired them efficiently. While he was here he repaired two outside faucets for us.

When he was going to be an hour late, he actually called to tell us! I have never had that happen before. In my experience, plumbers either don't call if they are going to be late, or don't show up at all. Thank you Dennis.

Had a clog in my main sewer line that was causing a very slow drain. Dennis was able to unclog it in a timely manner. He was very professional and very nice to work with. Only took him 1/2 hour despite having to use the water jet as well as the mechanical cutter and having to go in through a couple access points. I couldn't be happier - will definitely use for all of my plumbing needs going forward. Highly recommend.

Paul, the assigned plumber, arrived on time. Paul was polite and professional; thoroughly explained the process and and how to correct the issue. Paul cleaned up during the entire process. All issues rectified. Very happy with Paul’s service; would recommend Avon Lake Plumbing. I have asked Paul to return to discussing replacing an older water heater. Nice job Paul

Felt like a friend by the time he left the 1st time; and didn't hesitate to call AL Plumbing the next time there was an issue. I understand that Dennis has owned the business for approximately a year. I wish them well and pray the business prospers. Avon Lake plumbing is amazing! They came out to inspect and repair my French drains and basement/foundation needs. I had two other companies come out. The first two companies stated I needed 25,000-30,000 worth of work completed. Denis at Avon Lake Plumbing was the only one who stated that the work was completed but just simply needed a few extra things.He was upfront, honest, and kind. Denis, Paul, and Kristen have been great to work with and I will be contacting them for all my future plumbing needs!

Our hot water tank took a poop, and I called Avon Lake Plumbing on a Saturday! Right away, Dennis took care in understanding the problem, what kind of tank I had and needed. He assured me he could help, which he did. He was highly knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and solved my hot water issue. I had used this service in past and called because my garbage disposable malfunctioned and was still under warranty [no fault of the plumber.] However, I made appt, after 2 hrs late, i got lots of excuses why they were late. Came out and verified it was a malfunction in the product and it was still under warranty. It is now 5 wks since that initial visit, and my calls have gone unanswered. Would not recommend this service due to the poor customer service. ​​

Dennis from Avon Lake Plumbing came out and disconnected a gas fireplace for us. They were right on time. He was very professional and courteous. Great service and great rates. The only local company recommended by Columbia Gas. We will definitely use Avon Lake Plumbing for any future projects.
