Construction Company reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

Blocks streets and side streets so residents have no parking, horrible unorganized company. They are doing more damage than good to neighborhoods, causing unnecessary traffic. Blocking 2 lane streets that residents live on without proper notice or no parking signs indicating duration of delay.

Never heard of this company until they randomly show up at my house. After a failed attempt to get access to my back yard the guy decided to knock on the door. He said he wanted to look at our meter, I'm sorry, who are you and what are you doing here? We said absolutely not, he would not be allowed in our back yard (again, no clue who this was or what they were actually doing here). He then asked us to take pictures of our meter and Duke equipment.
NO.....we don't use Duke, very few in my part of the neighborhood does. So he leaves but not before spray painting something on my curb.
WHAT THE HELL RLA? -
Had to let the company do my gas line, they dug a trench in my yard was supposed to come back and lay grass seed and hay and I haven't seen them in over a week. Why Colerain township decided to contract with this company I have no idea.

Driving thru Harrison Ohio RLA was set up working, they was very polite and professional concrete job looked great!

Totally garbage company. They’ve been doing utility work near me and they’ve made the neighborhood and surrounding streets a mess. Uneven pavements, plates sitting in the road for excessive periods. Flangers not being present or doing their job when they are. They also can’t manage traffic to save their lives. Also, good luck if you need to contact them over property damage.
They also show up unannounced and do what they want when they want. Dig up what they want where they want. Won’t even tell you or ask you. Pretty sure that’s illegal
They also love blocking mailboxes and driveways. Must be a hobby of theirs. -
This company is doing gas line replacement in our neighborhood on behalf of Duke Energy. They do the absolute bare minimum. When they replaced the line in my yard, they drove a big excavator out on the wet grass putting track marks and ruts in the yard. Meanwhile all sorts of trash and metal was left in the yard and they forgot to paint the meter. While they did come back to fill in dirt, they didn’t pack it down or hit all the areas they destroyed. They put cheap seed on top and an absolute minimum amount of straw. I had to go out and spend $100 on seed, fertilizer, and top soil to get it back to where it was before they came in. Now I am watering my yard twice a day in July just in the hopes that some grass comes back up. I wonder what that water bill will be? Furthermore, my wife ran over something metal in the road and popped her tire. I’m sure it was just a coincidence that all the RLA trucks were parked in the street...NOT. I, however, was one of the lucky ones. People who had nice concrete sidewalk torn out in front of their homes had it replaced with cheap looking blacktop. This company is single handily trashing my neighborhood.

They hire people who can’t drive and try to run you off the road when they are in the bigger vehicle. Idiots. Should’ve let him hit me as he was in the lane that ended!!!!
-
No flaggers, doesn't plate 90% of their work. Literally took their dump truck and trailer with a mini and went through schoold drop off DURING drop off hours to do a Uturn. Trash.
-
RLA was very professional and easy to work with. Great team of individuals.
-
Great work from jeff Holloway and the crew!

They simply couldn't put a piece of cardboard in between the house and that pipe instead of getting spray paint on my house. Update they came back and took a wire brush and got the paint off.

Removed a section of my driveway in front of the garage door, without permission or notice, and then poured new concrete, rendering the garage unavailable on the weekend of my wedding. I wasn't home, but there was a car in one of the two garages.
Still haven't heard when I can drive in the concrete. -
Blocked my driveway at 5:30 pm and let me pull into where he was working. Tar was all over my wheels and now my car is very bumpy and keeps making noise where the tar is hitting my wheel well. He had plenty of room to park between houses and not block anyone’s driveway. When I asked him why he was blocking my driveway and let me drive onto his mess, he told me to complain. Could have cared less. Tried to call and talk to someone and they aren’t taking calls. Probably because they hear it a lot from the previous posts made on here.

Call them on Monday morning and within 2 hours a crew was out here.
The ground had settled and they added more top soil, grass seed and straw. The crew did a great job and I really appreciate their service and promptness to the issue. Thank you! -
Terrible company. They hire rude employees, Can barely redirect traffic and they’re very messy when it comes to rebuilding whatever they are rebuilding.
So today I was going down a road they were on in Delhi on greenwell ave and I got a bolt stuck in my tire. I know for a fact that I did not go down any other road that day. First time I drove my car that day and that road is apart of my commute to work. Went down that road and I guess they had a bolt laying in the road. Drove over it and my car had a flat tire. Still does
I call there company showed them pictures of it the hole on the tire and the bolt and they said well how do you know it was one of ours. Well I know for fact it wasn’t mine and I was driving down a road you guys were on and it didn’t have the problem before that. So I’m now out of a brand new tire and had to deal with a rude support person today.
If your township or community hires these people they barely do there jobs and rarely clean up behind there selves so good luck hiring these people -
Duke contracted them to move my gas meter from the basement to the side of the house. They left trash in the yard, didn't wear boot covers in the house.
In the process they drilled through my downspout drain. In order to fix this they had to dig another hole which destroyed my flower bed, flowers, and the corner of my yard. They did a very poor job fixing the damage they did to the yard, did not replace my mulch or even throw down grass seed where they absolutely destroyed my yard. Basically they showed up, messed up my yard and left me with the mess. -
I was cut off by their driver and then when I passed him ( yes he cut me off them slowed down) he flipped me the good ol bird. Very poor drivers very poor office management including Mark who says he is the top of the office. After speaking with mark I do not feel like any disciplinary action will take place. He does not act like he runs an office where he oversees people. He needs some customer service training. You see these guys on the road watch out they are dangerous.

Shawn,Adam and their crews did an excellent job on the Elvin Lane gas line project. From communicating what they were doing and the impact to my property to the restoration of my yard to probably better than it was when they started. Very personable and professional.
Thank you

I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and dedication of the team. From start to finish, their restoration crew went above and beyond to get the job done efficiently and with incredible attention to detail. They were punctual, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work.

John Hydan and his crew did an excellent job on replacing our gas line he explain what they were going to do they did a amazing job!!

Duke Engery hired them to do work in our neighborhood. This is how our yard was left after work was done on our NEIGHBORS yard. Not to mention their inconsiderate parking on a curve in the street (no way to see if anyone is coming the other direction) with no Flagger. Followed by surrounding the cars parked on the street which led to the gum being stuck on the side of my car. And their lunch trash littering the street after they left. I would give 0 stars if possible.
