Outstanding General Contractor with an attractive new set of offices on East 8th Street in downtown Cincinnati, near Arnold's restaurant. Many of their office managers and field staff have been with them for a considerable period of time, a valuable asset in a GC handling a great many local clients.

They rebuilt our large deck and installed a set of stairs to a third floor loft area.

I attempted to get an estimate from them. They said they work in Cincinnati according to the website and then I was told by someone via an email that they do not operate in my area. But yet the website literally says Cincinnati as an operating area. So ya wouldn't recommend as they start off by lying it would seem.

I sent a message for a quote to finish a basement. Steve called and without coming out to look at the project we discussed finishing 1000 sq ft he just said oh it will be 70,000.00 insane sorry glad we just had a call very scary wow.

Steve Barber did an excellent job. He was present on the job to make sure every aspect was completed on time and to perfection.

My husband called to get a quote and to see what time someone could come out. We were looking to do a smaller deck, but was not sure with our yard size if a much bigger one would fit. We are open for suggestions. The man said he would stop by at 4 today. The man never called my husband back. My husband called him and asked if he was still coming. He basically told my husband it wasn't worth his time or his crew time to do that small of a deck. He could have came out and atleast looked and given us ideas on what we could do. That could have been a much bigger deck then we even thought could have worked. Just so unprofessional!

We had three major remodeling projects completed by Steve Barber Construction. All of the jobs were completed to our satisfaction in a timely manner and without any surprises to our budget for the projects. By using Steve Barber, you get the advantage of his experience and professionalism.

Steve Barber completed a porch project over ten years ago on my 1930s bungalow. The project was well done in a timely manner, and Steve worked hard to carry out our preferences and specifications so that it matched the architecture of the house. The porch has aged well and still looks great. More recently he has done smaller jobs that I have been happy with, including storm door installations, and a temporary handicapped ramp that can be stored away when not in use.

I love my deck!! Steven Barber Construction last week completed a deck replacement for me. I wanted to keep the same design but needed the old worn-out pressure treated wood replaced with the Deckorators Voyage composite. There were lots of issues with the existing deck when it was initially installed 10 years ago but the crew (Mike and Bill) came out and did an incredible job. The lower tier was not built square initially but they made it look square when they completed it. Lattice work on the sides is absolutely beautiful. The crew was very considerate and hard-working.

One of the big plus’s with Steven Barber Construction is the responsiveness of the owner, Steve. He either calls or texts very quickly so you don’t feel neglected. Steve also suggested a railing and color of railing that works perfectly. He was a great guide in helping me make the best decisions.

Bottom line – I love it my deck and highly recommend Steven Barber Construction.
