Best Chimney did a "cleaning" and provided an estimate for some fairly extensive repairs on my firebox and flu. I called another chimney service provider and that tech showed me just how poor of a cleaning job Best Chimney did. I was shocked to see how easy the creosote flaked off with just a brush of my fingers. Very poor service and a complete waste of money. Be careful if you engage this company.

From beginning to end, contact with and professionalism of staff was excellent. We started with a chimney inspection: professional and thorough. Major work was rebuild of chimney above roofline and ceramic sealing of flue. Other work included power washing and silicone sealing of outdoor weather-facing wall. All work is excellent and done exactly as it was proposed/quoted. I would absolutely use BCC in the future and recommend the business to others.

In my opinion they are the best. Very professional, on time, do excellent work and explain in detail the services they are providing. We just purchased our dream cabin in the woods and the chimney needed a good inspection which they provided. Now we are all set for winter and many a cozy fire.

This was the first time we have used Best Cincinnati Chimney; we had used American Chimney in the past. When I tried to call them this year, I was directed to Best Cincinnati Chimney. The gentleman was very nice about explaining that he had bought out American Chimney when the owner had retired. I was surprised by how quickly I was able to get an appointment set up.
"Sam" was on time for the appointment and jumped right in. Once he was done, he showed me pictures of some problems that he found as he was cleaning. The main problem was that the current top 2 chimney flues needed to be replaced with one new flue tile because the original flue file was the incorrect size 11" x 11" from when the house was originally built and should be at least 12"x12". He also advised that some old mortar needed to be ground out and replaced with new mortar. He said he would have an estimate sent to me. If I accepted the estimate, I would be contacted to set up a time and date. This was all done in a timely manner even though it was the New Year holiday.
"Tony" was the technician that came to do the repairs. He was very pleasant and knew what he was doing. He kept working steadily only taking few times to warm up in his truck - it was very cold out there. When everything was finished he showed me pictures of how everything looked. Before he left, he made sure I would be able to open and close the flue.
We will be sure to have Best Cincinnati Chimney back next year to have the chimney cleaned again.
