Costco has a Heating and AC partnership with Lennox . I signed up at Costco TWICE Schmidt Heating sent a representative out TWICE to give me an estimate on replacing my 25+ year old HVAC system .... the first time was in March and they just ghosted me... so i signed up again.. got another appointment to get an estimate... that was seven days ago.. and THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN ME AN ESTIMATE..... i WOULD NEVER use this company...... if they do such a poor job of getting an estimate to you..... image how they would be after you actually paid them for a service...RIDICULOUS...

Schmidt Heating and Cooling is a great company operating with ideal core values and employees whom back it up. Their consult, transparency, and execution made for wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

Guys showed up on time and did a great job. They even gave me some suggestions on how to improve the airflow in my basement. I made those changes myself and now the whole house is cooler and it has reduced the overall humidity in my home by about 15%. Great job!

Research the Better Business Bureau - Buyer beware.

Left details through Schmidt's website. Set up a day and time range through email. After that, nothing. The day of, I checked email and thought I had not responded to a question on timing when in fact i had already responded - twice. Time was set for 10am to 2pm. Came and gone, then got an email saying "we have you down for tomorrow." Okay, one day wasted that I could have had someone address my issue. I emailed back, sounds good, what time? Again, nothing. No response. Have no idea if they are showing up or not.

Update: No call was made until the second day (TODAY). It was one call, that was returned within 10 minutes. You've stiffed me one day. If you're stiffing me for a second day, you can owe me $120 in small claims court. You'll pay me $60 for stiffing me yesterday and you'll pay me $60 for the frustration caused today! Plus court and legal fees.

Less than three hours from first call to cold air on a Saturday. Very responsive and reasonably priced. Mark was super professional, diagnosed our issue (bad capacitor on the outdoor unit), swapped it out and we were back in business. Explained everything he was checking as I looked over his shoulder. 5/5 would use again. Didn't really have a go to for heating and A/C. We do now.

Very happy with the service from Schmidt. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and my AC was fixed the same day. The price was reasonable and I felt like they were honest and fair.

Professional, knowledgeable and competitively priced. Don’t consider any other company if you have a hot water or steam boiler. These guys are experts and understand hydronics systems.

Andy was superior technician and got my two Carrier AC compressors rolling again very quickly.

A lot of HVAC companies claim to be “experts”. Schmidt only employs experts. I have been using them for years and can’t say enough positive about them.

Last fall Schmidt was able to help me out in a pinch over the Thanksgiving day week/weekend replacing a furnace for a fair price. I once again trusted them late winter to diagnose a problem with another furnace. They wanted $953 plus the $60 service fee to replace an inducer motor that they said is no longer made for that unit or $2,100 for a complete system replacement. My hvac buddy said thats highway robbery. I was able to purchase the motor for that unit locally for $160 and my buddy installed it in less than 10 minutes. Insane! Schmidt lost me as a customer and I'll throw them in the pile of dirt bag contractors. I have no issue with a company that tries to make a fair buck and is honest doing it. This was just plain old price gouging! Don't Trust Them, find someone else.

First and foremost, their price quote was in line with market prices for the item we wanted to purchase. Simply provided a product and service in a timely manner in return for a timely payment. Best way to do business.

The installation crew was experienced, professional, courteous, and completed their work in a timely manner. The next time I need a similar service, they will be the first & probably the only firm I'll need to call.
