I have Used other carpet cleaners but not anymore. I will only use Downey from the Columbus area. They do such a great job and have such good attitudes .

The carpets looked good, but...
The technicians did not use footwear coverings.
Then they walked on the hardwood floors which left numerous footprints from the cleaning solutions on their shoes.
Also, they did not use corner protectors for the woodwork. The hoses were dragged along the corners to reach the rooms. When I asked if they had corner protectors in the truck, the answer was yes. And yet they didn’t bother to use them.

Chris did an excellent job getting stains out. He was efficient, took care to do his job quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Downey because of the service and the quality of the work.

The first time we used Downey Clean, the carpets looked fantastic. However, the carpet was saturated with water and took over 24 hours to dry. We had them back last Saturday to do the whole house. Again the floors were saturated with water, but this time they look like crap. They dumped the dirty water into our toilet and left it absolutely filthy. They scheduled a recall visit for Wednesday, after 4:00pm. At 7:00pm, they called to say they couldn't possibly make it and rescheduled for the same time on Thursday... It is now 7:10pm, they aren't here, and they haven't called. Lesson learned. This company will never be returning to my home!

Zach was our technician and he did a really nice job. He was pleasant and very informative. Carpet dried quickly, was not overly wet. Smelled wonderful, we were very happy with the results.

We have had them clean carpet and tile, plus an "emergency" call for a grandchild's fruit punch accident. The experience is top notch from start to finish...pleasant (human) scheduler, polite and knowledgeable technicians, fair prices. Will recommend and use them again.

It's always a delight to deal with Downey Clean. The workers are always on time and very respectful, efficient and thorough. We don't use anyone else for carpet cleaning, upholstery shampooing or hard surface cleaning and waxing.

I've been using Downey Clean for years now. Their employees are always diligent, respectful and effective. They also have the ability to work in unique conditions, like when I lived on the 6th floor downtown, or on my nature stone flooring. I will always continue to use them for all my cleaning needs.

My experience was wonderful! The man who did the cleaning was very nice and efficient. The house looked great and smelled good, too! There were some pretty bad stains that he was able to remove. Amazing! I would highly recommend this company.

For many years, we have so enjoyed John Gerhardt arriving to clean our home carpets and couches. So very sadly, we learned that John passed away in July 2019. We will miss John, his professionalism, his smile, his enjoyable conversation, and his unbelievable work ethic! RIP John. But, this Monday we were delighted to meet Zach Thompson who was not only cordial, professional, but worked extraordinarily hard to provide us a great carpet cleaning job! Thank you, Zach! I use Downey Clean a few times a year and each of the technicians are polite, non judgemental (we have dogs) and do their very best to make the carpet look like new. There's no pressure for add ons and they're on-time every time.

Young man did a good job cleaning our carpet & stairs. Family room carpet had a couple dark stains and he removed them. He had vehicle trouble and was very courteous about keeping be informed as to what time he would arrive. Professional in attitude and appearance.

I noticed a dark spot on the carpet that appeared the next morning after cleaning. Downey sent out a person to reclean the spot, which came right out. I am very pleased with Downey's excellent customer service and will definitely use them again!

The Downey representative was courteous and thorough. We have pets, so we have special needs for odor control. The Downey rep provided special treatments that worked great and have continued to control pet odors weeks after the cleaning. We've used Downey before, and we will continue to do so. Highly recommend them!

Called exactly at the time they said they would on the morning of cleaning to tell me what time they would arrive. Cleaned my three bedroom carpets better than they have ever been cleaned. Got out pet stains and deodorized the carpet. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again!!

It's all about the Downy cleaning process. I watched the three steps they take in cleaning your carpets. I had some very dirty carpets it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. When they were done, it looked almost like it was just put down from the store. In my opinion, Downey clean is better than its competitors.

John and Tyler were exceptional. The care they took was extremely professional and efficient. They were here and gone before we knew it and left our carpet like new. We will have no hesitation in inviting them back into our home again. We are very satisfied.
