We've used All Knight for 20+ years. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable technicians who aren't looking to price gouge or anything shady. Highly recommend!
-
I cannot say enough good things about Jim and All Knight. They are the preferred contractor for my home warranty company ABC. Jim is friendly, knowledgeable, and has been a great service provider.
-
The technicians arrived much sooner than I had expected. They were courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The cost was reasonable. It is so nice to have reliable heat again. Definitely will use again for maintenance and repair.

Terrible Communication. The technician came out to provide an A/C quote and was very friendly and professional. I requested an emailed copy so I may properly compare quotes. I have called in repeatedly for a copy. After two weeks and eight calls to the office, the only communication I have gotten is "I'll pass your information forward and they will get back to you."

Had an ABC warranty claim when my heat exchanger cracked. They came out replaced the furnace with in a week. No questions asked. Great Service. No complaints.

Owner Jim is smart, knowledgeable, and helpful from past experience, although he will try to soft sell you something new and perhaps more modern before he starts what is asked of him. Recent experience with another employee, however, was not good.
1) He had not the slightest clue how to diagnose a tricky problem (immediately changed the conditions under which the problem had been occurring, then waited a fairly long time for the problem to not occur, then gave up and handed me a $114 bill;
2) He has pretty much no technical know-how
(a) did not understand what a degree day is -- suggested running the furnace all night to save gas;
(b) could not be convinced that a furnace reset was not the same thing as a thermostat reset.
(c) enormous know it all attitude.
3) He moved so slowly that he might have had nothing to do and all day to do it, but pushed to get the bill paid and left in a big hurry.
Barbara the operator is nice but doesn't know a reset from a headset, so it's very hard to dictate a description of a problem. -
Late this past Friday evening during our "breaking records" heat wave, our condenser stopped working. I spoke to the answering service for All Knight and within a short time April called back. When I told her how my elderly father was on hospice at home now, she said she'd do her best to see if she could get a technician out. Jaime came and quickly found that the capacitor wasn't working. He replaced the part and we were cooling rapidly again! All Knight has consistently come through every time, and we've been more than pleased since we purchased our Trane system through them. Thanks, April and Jaime!

Great company that won't oversell you on an HVAC system. Used them for a cheaper rental unit and they looked around for a decent furnace that had a good warranty. They ended up getting me a quote that was 2/3 the price of Care.

We were forced to use these guys because ABC Warranty only offered this one service company. They came out 5 different times and couldn't figure out what was wrong with our A/C, replacing something different each time. It finally broke down for good after short periods of not running and we had no air conditioning for 3 days during the hottest period of the year. They replaced every part of the unit finally but left us with an A/C unit leaning and about to fall off its stand with misc wires coming out of the top.

Very few contractors left to trust with your hard earned money. Have been doing business with them for years and there is no question I would ever call anyone else. Immediate service assistance, professional and polite from phone call to completed job. Do yourself a favor and call them at least for assessment and quote before you call the big commercial franchise companies

The blower on our 26 year old furnace went out. They came out the next day and replaced the motor in just under an hour. Didn't try to sell us a new furnace or anything else. Very personable and friendly. I will absolutely call these guys for all my future HVAC needs.

I have dealt with many heating and cooling contracts when I was manager of engineering at PPG so I'm a good judge of quality service. All Knight Heating & Cooling is an honest and quality company. Jim Holstein is so friendly and gives you good advice on how to save money and still have a quality heating/cooling system. Jim and his son installed our new furnace in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. These guys are so courteous. Thank you Jim.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Exceptional customer service!! Jim the owner came to our rescue when we were without heat in the dead of winter. Jim worked hard to get us heat until we could get a new installation. His staff is professional and polite. The installation was throughly done and we can’t be more grateful for finding such an excellent team to take care of us! Thanks again!!!

Local, honest, and family owned! All Knight was sent out by my home warranty company. My 1987 AC unit stopped working. The home warranty decided to try to fix the unit instead of replace it. The fix did not work but All Knight did everything they could to make it work. After all attempts failed they fought for me with the home warranty company to get me a new unit. They did everything in advance they knew the home warranty company would bulk at or possibly give them the ablity to deny the claim. Every tech that was out was amazing. My 4 year old son even got to “help” which made his day. They were thrilled to let him “help” them. On the final trip out for replacement the owner, Jim, was one of the installers. Yes, the owner of an over 20 year old business is still actively involved in the field and not just a figure head. The office staff was just as amazing. Paige was a huge help on getting this all done. I could go on about how trilled I am but I’ll stop there. All Knight will now always be my go to for HVAC! Thank you Jim for running such a great business!

On one of the hottest days of the summer so far, the air conditioning in our new home stopped working. I was eventually able to tell that it was something wrong with the outside unit, which didn't appear to be coming on at all and was making a faint humming noise rather than it's usual heavy industrial sound. I spoke with my home warranty company, who kindly took the claim and said they'd be referring it to All-Knight, who would call me back within 24 hours. The home warranty company additionally noted that it's "a busy time of year" and warned me not to be surprised if it would take All-Knight a couple of days to get out to my house. I settled in for a long, hot wait.
I received a text message from the warranty company additionally giving me All-Knight's phone number, and decided to take the initiative myself. I called and was put on hold---remember, this is one of the hottest days of the summer, and I'm sure All-Knight was busy. However, when Barbara picked up, she was friendly, polite, and apologetic. She was obviously a little flustered with how busy it was, and it took her a couple of minutes to get everything with my home warranty claim straightened out, but continued to work on it. When I asked if there was any chance of paying for "emergency" or "expedited" service, she seemed somewhat surprised; she said, "We'll obviously be there sometime this afternoon" and I was dumbfounded---and grateful!
Barbara called me back about 12:30 and told me the technician was on his way. I was again amazed, only to be more so when Jimmy knocked on the door about 5 minutes later. I explained to him what was going on, he briefly felt the air coming out of a floor vent, said "it sounds like the capacitor", and immediately got to work. I saw him working on the unit for a short time; at one point my wife even thought he almost threw a piece of it. However, he came in a few minutes later and said "you're all set!" I asked him about it, he said he replaced the capacitor, and mentioned "just had to deal with a couple of wasps"; apparently his flailing with a piece of the machinery was his trying to fight off stingers! He was amazing friendly, refused any additional payment despite his pain and trouble, and was gone.
The AC has worked beautifully ever since.
At my previous home in another city, I was a very satisfied customer of a national chain of HVAC specialists. However, this local company has quickly won me over. They weren't absolutely perfect, but they were so much better than I could have imagined---and had much better timing than that national chain would have been able to do here. (Not to mention they were also thrilled to work with my home warranty company.) I wholeheartedly recommend All-Knight, and plan to use them for all my needs in the future. -
My home warranty company (ABC) originally sent out a different organization to look at my furnace. That company declared it dead and wanted to do a full replacement. I called All Knight for a second opinion. They concurred that there were issues, but they checked the manufactures warranty and found it to still be covered. Instead of paying $1000+ dollars to have a new but inferior unit put in, they went the extra mile to ensure that all new parts were put into the existing two stage furnace at no cost to me. Very impressed with their knowledge and help.
-
All Knight came out and fixed my furnace within 2 hours of my call. They didn't over charge, fixed the problem and correctly diagnosed a problem with my fireplace in passing. Highly recommend!
-
If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. They (all people involved) were very professional, and they were reasonably priced. I would call them for any problems heating and cooling related. They installed a new furnace and A/C for me. They even did follow up phone calls to make sure everything was okay. Very hard to find good contractors with good work ethic and these guys are better than good!

These guys were used to repair my air conditioning and install a new thermostat last September. Everything seemed to be working fine; that is, until the coldest day of the year occurred, and my heat wouldn't work. It was 4am, and my house was quickly getting cold. I was worried about my pipes freezing and the well-being of my daughter, my dog, and myself. I made an emergency call and another company came to repair my furnace. They discovered that my emergency heat wire (white) was never connected by the All Knight tech last year. I contacted All Knight in the morning, and the owner basically told me to beat it. Horrible customer service.

Coldest day of the season and our heat went out about 1am. Sent an email to our home warranty company who put us in touch with All-Knight via text message. I called about an hour later and had a tech there within 2 hours. Within 20 minutes the heat was back on and the repair was covered by our warranty company.
With that said, I would 100% use them for anything we need in the future, not just if we have another repair that is needed. Professional, pleasant, prompt, and got the job done quickly. Very happy with today's repair call, both in regards to our home warranty company and with All-Knight. -
Called in the morning around 8am and talked with an answering service which is perfectly fine. Received a call from All-Knight around 830am explaining they would have some one available early afternoon or depending on his morning schedule late morning. Tech called just after noon and was at my house within 30min after the call. Diagnosed my issue quickly and resolved my flame sensor fault without issue. Since no new parts were used I was charged the service fee and he was on his way. He did check the entire furnace out and used a sniffer to check for CO and for any gas leaks as I thought I smelled it faintly near the unit that morning. Couldn’t have been more personable and professional, will certainly call them back in a couple years when my 18yr old unit is up for replacement.
