Purchased 3 mini splits with 1 making noise since install. Was advised would get better but didn't. Several texts with no correction of the issue.
When purchased S. Buss told me if I purchased units on my own he wouldn't warranty tte units. He doesn't warranty the units purchased thru him.
I wonder how the manufacturer feels about Buss Bros misrepresented or not standing by their word with companies equipment.
Not impressed. He was more worried in telling me his own heat was out as if that helps.

Our furnace went out just as the weather has begun cooling down and I was referred to Steffan by my friend and realtor. I can't praise his work enough! Not only was he super responsive but the work was fast and looked super clean when he was finished, he also worked with our budget to find the right solution!

Omg Steffan saved us. Our realtor (and friend) recommended him to us when our heat stopped working. We knew we needed a full HVAC replacement but thought we could get a cheaper price than what the “bigger” company recommended. Steffan came through for us and was so fast and efficient. He really treated it like an emergency - we actually needed our electrical panel replaced also (for some reason, the HVAC was on a different one than the main) and Steffan was able to do that for us also. We bought our house from HUD after they flipped it, and their renovation team did a really sloppy job. Steffan fixed it all up for us. He even paid a complimentary visit a few weeks later when we thought we had a problem with something else. I’m so grateful for Steffan’s timeliness and efficiency. We’ve already thought of future projects we would like his help with. He is a trusted contractor for sure.

Solid dudes. Great craftsmanship. Everything was clean, square, and installed like they care. Fully diagnosed and replaced my ac unit in under 20 hours. Came out at night and installed the next morning. Solid example of the small business that you give your money over the big chain. Fair, honest, and quality work.

When I realized our AC was out while setting up for my birthday party at our home later that night, I panicked.

I called Steffan Buss and he was over within just a few hours to diagnose the issue - the AC was dead.

He was back first thing this morning to replace the entire unit. He was kind, knowledgeable, and takes so much pride in his work.

While buying a new air conditioner wasn’t on my list of birthday wishes, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to handle our situation!

What’s to charge premium pricing but doesn’t do premium quality- left scrap metal in from yard, left all trash around outdoor unit, and here is how Buss Brothers Mechanical installs condensate lines in a basement from a coil. The line doesn’t even reach the floor let alone a floor drain. Would not recommend to anyone. Call Atlas Butler is you want to pay premium price and actually receive quality service.

I hired Buss Brothers Mechanical to install a Navien tankless system and immediately had a strong gas smell in my home. A combustible gas detector, soapy water test and a licensed third-party contractor confirmed an active gas leak, a missing shutoff valve, no sediment trap, and improper gas line reductions and more.

They stopped responding after the safety issues were found. I had to shut off gas to my whole house for 24+ hours in 35° weather until someone else could come out.

I understand making mistakes but this is not a case of an oversight or accident. They should not be allowed near this type of work.

Travis was very honest and knowledgeable and suggested repairs in various categories of expenses. I have recommended him to others in my circle and trust him for getting the job done.

Our furnace went out on a Saturday before Thanksgiving. We were assigned New View Services through our home warranty. They came out on Monday the 25th and looked at our furnace. They spent about an hour in our basement. They said we had a cracked heat exchanger. We paid the fee contracted through our home warranty to New View Services via PayPal. Travis told us he would research the parts and we would hear back by noon the next day (26th). We did not hear back from them or the warranty company. We called our warranty company to get an update and they said that they spoke to New View services and were waiting for some information. It’s now Saturday the 30th and still nothing. It’s 30 degrees outside with a real feel of 17 degrees. It’s 52 degrees in our home. We spoke to our warranty company 3 times. They could not reach Travis at New View Services. When we called them and their phone goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full.
The warranty company did tell us that he never called in to report the diagnostic. It’s absolutely abhorrent service to do this to a family with small children not only just before a holiday but during the cold season. Not reliable and untrustworthy.
