We have used this company for many years. Great service. Know their business. Always friendly and willing to answer any questions. Kevin has kept our air conditioner going for longer than we had hoped. When it finally bites the dust, we will be buying the new furnace and air conditioning unit from them.

These guys did a great job, and saved us a ton of money. The first company we called did the bare minimum and told us the whole furnace needed replaced. Kevin knew the furnace company, made phone calls to confirm we had a warranty and replaced it. In total it saved us $2600 having someone more willing to make a phone call then sell us a new furnace.

He came within an hour of receiving my call because we were freezing. He fixed the furnace immediately for the price of a service call which was very reasonable. I will certainly use again if needed.

Steve McNutt opened up shop on a Sunday to get us the pump we needed to keep our domestic hot water system running in our hospital. Top notch service from a company that knows hospitals can't shutdown. We can't thank Steffens-Shultz enough for their dedication to businesses and service providers in central Ohio.

On 7/16/2019 a truck with this company’s logo was intentionally driving 15 miles under the speed limit with no one in front of them to slow down traffic. They were looking in their driver side mirror while doing it. Very unprofessional and uncalled for.

If you want to pay double for an incomplete job and poor customer service then this is the company for you. I wish the ratings went lower than 1 star to express my dissatisfaction. I have contacted multiple other HVAC professionals since their visit and received quotes for half the price. Their poor workmanship caused my roof to leak! When I contacted the president of the company, Rod, and sent him proofs from another contractor he hung up on me! Stay away from these crooks!

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY OF ANY KIND I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. In the hot days of summer, when you want your air conditioner to work, call any other company besides Mid-Ohio. I have had them back to my property for the better part of this summer, only to have the air conditioning system still not work and have a screaming lunatic, (owner Rod Burkett), claim that his company did nothing wrong and bill for 4 service calls. On two scheduled appointments, their technician didn't even show up. Poor customer service, poor management and very unprofessional owner.

Some HVAC companies make it so complicated to get a tech out, get a quote, get service scheduled, etc. These guys were able to do all of that in one day and restore our heat so my office didn't freeze to death. Very straightforward and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I'm SO disappointed with this company. I called and scheduled a diagnostic appointment for our AC condenser unit, and told them exactly what was wrong. I understand that they need to confirm it, but the next day after service I received a bill for $900 and all they had done was confirm exactly what I had told them was wrong.

The diagnostic was so expensive because they had to fetch a ladder for access to the roof, WHICH I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE AND TOLD THEM WAS REQUIRED, but they went ahead and billed me for the extra time and overtime spent going back to their office to pick up a ladder. Also, their billable rate is exorbitant; I've been a structural engineer for over a decade and can't believe they're charging more than engineering billable rates.

The following day, I received a @$12,000 quote for a brand new system, but they made me wait nearly 2 weeks for a repair quote. I reached out many times asking for the repair quote, and one day was put on hold 3 times in a row for a total of 45 minutes. I was told it took so long because the condenser unit was old and the part numbers were hard to read, but I took a brief look at the photos and was able to locate and purchase the part online in less than 15 minutes. This whole ordeal felt like a shakedown, especially because I had made it abundantly clear that we wanted to repair and not replace the unit. What a sham!

The repair quote was for $1,100 but I realized what I was dealing with and so I went ahead and did the repair myself. It took less than half an hour, and the cost of parts was $170.

I will NEVER work with this company again. I recommend calling Sears Heating and Cooling if you want to work with good, honest, and helpful people.

Unprofessional.

Literally the worst most unprofessional service out there. The good reviews are from people he knows. Do not use this company. My mother is suffering at home with cancer and he replaced her furnace less than a year ago. It has broke down at least four times. Now he is refusing to come and fix it under warranty. This is absolutely ridiculous that he would leave an older woman in this position.

Made a service call after hours on a Monday. They got back to me in no time. Had me scheduled for Tuesday in the am. He told me every step he was taking and was as friendly as could be. Very affordable and even helped me, cleaning my a/c unit and giving tips on maintaining it the whole time. If I need an HVAC service again they will be my first call.

Major W company. Super professional. Came out on a Sunday. Went above and beyond for me. Seriously!
