I would highly recommend using American Leak Detectors of Columbus for any project that fits their expertise. The lead technician always kept me informed of what was happening, answered any question that we had, was careful to treat our property with respect and care, and the price was very reasonable for how complicated the project turned out to be. These guys are real professionals.

We had a water line leak that had frustrated another plumbing company for over 2 months. American Leak Detection was able to locate the leak within an hour and came back to do the repair. The team at ALD was on time, courteous and paid close attention to detail. They listened to our concerns and explained the repair process as it progressed during the day. We really appreciated the extra effort----laying plywood across the yard----to minimize damage to our front yard. We would highly recommend this company!

I'll be first to admit that I agreed to $640 for them to come out and find a leak in my front facing brick siding.

What I didn't plan on was a mess being left, images of someone else's house being sent, and days between communications trying to get this resolved.

I've reached out and explained the situation. Days later I received an email saying that their team cleaned up the mess. I immediately replied to their email sharing details. I also asked for the photos of my house as part of the report and a partial refund. I've had no response back.

Polite and friendly tech showed up on time (which shouldn’t justify a shout out but anymore it does) and got right to work. Found the problem spots quick but checked all around to make sure. Very happy with his work.

The techs, Steve & Scott came to my home on Aug 4 as part of an insurance claim. The source of a leak in my laundry room was quickly detected. Steve was very efficient and thorough. Needless to say, no more leak. I waited several days just to make sure. I anticipated a big mess with much damage to may walls. Surprisingly they only cut out a couple small areas in the drywall. What I appreciated most is that Steve completely answered every question to my satisfaction. The receptionist I spoke with on the phone was professional and worked within my schedule. Hope I never need them again, but if I do this is the company I will call.

Great job by their tech, Scott, of patiently walking me through their diagnosis of my problem. That done, we are now reviewing solutions to not only fix the problem but to be sure it doesn't happen again. Thank you Scott.

UPDATE: 8/16/23 - ALD came out and made the necessary repairs and completed several checks to ensure pressure is holding. I am pleased they responded quickly. :-)

8/15/23: A little over 90 days from the repair, and the repair they did of sleeving the line from my kitchen to the main connect just blew!! Perfect (sarcasm) And I have an inspection with the city in the morning to confirm all leaks were repaired. Guess I'm failing that now. What's the point of immediate service when you have to leave a message and wait for them to call the next day!

ALD was recommended by Muetzel Plumbing due to the leak not being visible and there were no signs of water damage. ALL of their employees were very helpful. The technicians were always timely and broke the news of my major leaks (I had 4) in a manner that made me feel comfortable about the process. I would highly recommend them!! THANK YOU ALD!

I'll start with the office...the woman who set up my appointment for a pool leak was very knowledgeable and professional. In fact, she was candid enough to suggest that I may not actually have a leak due to the the small amount of water loss. I know my pool and was confident of I had a leak. Scott, the technician, came out today and accessed a bunch of different tools in hopes of finding the leak - his determination never diminished and he found the leak and sealed it. Now, I'm not 100% confident that the leak is solved but time will tell. I received the invoice and was happy to see that they include a guarantee to come back and do more testing if the leak continues. At this point really happy with Scott, the office, and the professionalism. Highly recommend (BTW - Omni Pools recommended American Leak Detection letting me know they are solid)

Chuck and Tim performed a smoke test to determine where the sewer smell was coming from within my house. Leak was found. Crew provided detailed report for my plumber to repair/fix. They were great. They answered all questions and provided pictures as well. I would definitely recommend and hire again if necessary.

The guys found the leaks in our vinyl liner and repaired them. They were very efficient. They also checked all our plumbing and blew out the lines. Our pool now flows better than ever an looks great!

We needed to have a new water heater installed. I contacted American Leak Detection and worked with Steve West and Steve Wolf. These guys did an exceptional job!! They were very attentive, professional, and got the job done with high quality workmanship in a very reasonable amount of time! I recommend them highly for any of your water related needs!!

Steve came out to perform a leak detection this morning. He was on time (actually a little early!) which is always a plus in my book when it comes to technician arrival windows. We appreciated not having to wait a long time. He was professional, kind, and worked efficiently. He was able to locate the leak within an hour and also gave us a quick fix so that we aren't losing money between now and the repair. Just waiting on the estimate for a repair now - but the leak detection service was a great experience and we're grateful for the peace of mind that other companies so far had not been able to provide.

UPDATE: while we didn't end up having ALD repair the leak that they detected, I wanted to share that Steve's detection was right on point. When the repair crew got into the floor, the leaking pipe was right where he said it would be. Literal X marks the spot. THANK YOU!

Friendly, on Time, and priced right. Steve was great to work with today. He found the leak was a pleasure to talk to, gave me advice on the next steps to take in repair. The price is exactly what they quoted on the phone. Excellent company for quick leak detection in hard to reach places.

Had a leak at an Airport that needed located. Contacted American leak locators and they got this scheduled in after hours, due to air traffic. They find the leak within an hour. Definitely will use them again for any leak in the future.

This is a beautiful property with AMAZING staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast is good and the staff is the most friendly hotel staff I've ever seen. Sonwilling to go above and beyond.

The Technicians (Cory & Tanner) arrived promptly for the appointment and came prepared to get the job done. They were professional, courteous, and respectful of my property. Oh! And did i mention efficient?! They were in & out in less than 1.5 hrs which included a run to a Home Depot. Upon completion of the leak repair they tidied up, went over the details of the repair in depth and showed pics they took of the completed job to submit to my Homeowners Insurance if I chose to file a claim for reimbursement. A1 service! Would highly recommend this company and will be a repeat customer if/when needed.
