Outstanding service from start to finish. My air conditioning went out at 2:45 PM on a Friday and my wife went into labor 15 minutes later. I called for help from the delivery room at 4:00 PM, and was greeted by helpful reps who were able to send a technician to my home by 5:30 PM. At 7:00 PM Eric called to let me know the unit had been repaired. As a new father, it was a huge relief to know my family would return to a comfortable home.

Made us feel very comfortable with our options, came across as trustworthy and not someone taking us for a ride. Very knowledgeable, very respectful. Great service and helped take care of our furnace issue!

Delaware Heating and Air responded quickly to my need for repair of my furnace. They set up an appointment and the technician arrived when he said he would. I am bad with names, but I think his name was Mitchell (Sorry if I am wrong). He was professional, courteous and friendly. Very knowledgeable of his craft. Found and repaired my issue quickly and proficiently.
I would definitely use them again.

DJ was great. Arrived on time and was in and out in less than an hour. Luckily nothing major, but regardless took the time to explain what he was seeing and gave a few suggestions to help mitigate the problem in the future. Very friendly, nice and personable! 10/10 would recommend!

Scott was personable and arrived when expected. We felt that he was knowledgeable regarding our furnace.
He was here for just under an hour, no parts were needed and the bill was $403.00!
We were shocked.
That is a huge rate for labor!

Will showed up on time, clean uniform, very technically informed and diagnosed my problem and even discussed some repairs that maybe could wait but I went ahead and did them.

Fantastic experience. Our AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year. They were able to come diagnose it within a few hours and replace the entire system within 24 hours.

Scott Peterson was the 5 Star technician who came to our condo to troubleshoot why our ac and furnace not working. He rather quickly discovered that a safety switch had been tripped in the furnace and fixed the problem.

DJ was here and ready to go this morning and was thorough and efficient. While inspecting my furnace, he noticed what appeared to be a possible leak that was happening from an exhaust pipe from the roof. I will now call a roofing professional to inspect and repair. I was impressed with his service and attention to detail. Five Star is and will only be my choice for furnace/AC service.

We have been in our house for only 4 years and our AC went out yesterday. I called this morning at 7:30am and got on their schedule the same day. FYI - the other company's sticker that's plastered all over the furnace to call for help, failed to even call or text me back. By the time Matt showed up the temperature in our house reached 85 degrees, and with 3 kids this wasn't fun to experience let alone work in (WFH status). Matt was super friendly, answered all of my questions and we even signed up for the annual service plan because it was affordable and we were already looking for help with our water heaters and electricity. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and looking forward to working with them over the next year.

Great service, tech was knowledgeable and informative, worked quickly.

However, came to find out I was charged $270 for what realistically at most a $60 part (invoice listed AC dual run capacitor 45/5, cheaper models on Amazon for $20+/-). Labor charges I can understand, I don’t have the knowledge to operate or tune an HVAC unit; but being overcharged for parts is pretty upsetting.

Do your homework; get a diagnosis, research best options before moving forward with this company.

We give one star because the company upcharges their parts substantially! A dual run capacitor that should cost less than $60 cost us $285. The company also charged us $236 for a little wire!!! This is on top of the $99 service call. I almost didn't call this company because one of their reviews complained about overcharging for parts (see review above). I wish we would have paid another company to come and give a diagnostic before agreeing to letting this company do the work. But I didn't realize that we were paying so much for the parts. Live and learn, I guess.

Scott, David, and team did a fantastic job. Very happy with how thorough their explanations were. They left everything clean and ensured it was functioning properly. The furnace was missing a harness initially, but the team stayed late and picked up the missing part to complete the job same day. Great work!

Mitch was extremely kind, professional, and thorough in his assessment of our heating and cooling units. We are fully electric and have had difficulty in finding technicians who get to the root cause. We appreciated that Mitch really committed to finding the source of our issue and not just trying to put a temporary fix in place that could have resulted in more issues down the road. Mitch was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining to us in layman’s terms what was happening. He provided transparency with work needed and cost involved so we could make the best educated decision for how to move forward with getting parts and repairs completed. We are also very thankful that Mitch was able to get to us same day we submitted our service request. It put our minds at ease to know what the problem was and that we could get it fixed without needing to replace our units completely. Mitch is excellent!
