Dor Mar was extremely helpful with fast service, same day within hours. When David, service technician, arrived he greeted me with a smile. David was very efficient and explained and showed everything that was going on with our air conditioner unit. David was easy to talk with and he made me feel like I have known him for years. This made me feel that Dor Mar staff loves what they do and will care about ensuring they do the job right.

The technician was fantastic.
He came at a pretty late hour as a last minute replacement.
He was thorough, patient and gave me multiple options to help resolve the problem.
It gave me clarity on how to proceed.

The only reason I knocked down a * is because the options were beyond my budget and as such, decided to go a different route.

Scheduling was easy and the technician was prompt. But when he left, I discovered that the mulch near the exterior dryer vent was covered with dryer lint. Suggest you cover mulch when it is close to vent to prevent this aggravation.

Derrick Beneze came on a Sunday to restore our AC. He was extremely professional and walked my wife and I through everything and made sure we understood what was going on and next steps needed. Very communicative through the time he was in our home and made sure we had the best experience possible.

Good experience with Dor-Mar. My technician Steve was very friendly and helpful. He is knowledgeable in both electrical and plumbing and deserves a raise.

Chris arrived on time, was friendly, and quickly got to work. What I appreciate most of all though was that he took the time to give me thorough explanations of what was going on, what options I had, and what I should be looking for in the future should other issues arrived.

Rather than other professionals who "don't have the time" to explain things to those who are not experts in HVAC, Chris was patient and happy to boil it down so that I could understand and make informed decisions.

We had extensive work conducted by Dormar which included replacement of our water heater. furnace and air conditioning system.
The estimate provided by Garett was reasonable in light of today's high cost standards, and was the lowest of the three estimates obtained.
The work was promptly scheduled, and the two technicians completed the work in one day as promised without difficulties or mishaps. They also neatly cleaned up after installation. The equipment was only installed two days ago but is operating properly.

Company was quick to respond for an emergency call and got a tech out within a few hours. Derrick was great. Diagnosed the problem quickly, worked quickly, and friendly. Definitely recommend him or the company.

My 20-year old heat pump catastrophically failed on a Friday night at 6PM when it was 20 degrees out. Within 90 minutes, a young man named Jacob was at my house diagnosing the problem and explaining the details of the issue to the level I requested (which was thorough). He was incredibly friendly and patient, and walked me through all of the options for both repair and replacement. I opted for replacement.

On Tuesday, Steven and John showed up at 8:30AM with my new heat pump and furnace, only to find out that my hot water heater had blown out overnight, drenching my basement. Not only were they easily able to work around that, but they were also able to get me a new hot water heater and tank to install the same day. Steven followed up later that evening and fixed a thermostat issue that was keeping the new system from working, and he and John came back Wednesday to finish some auxiliary installation stuff.

Steven and John were both exceptionally friendly and clean and polite and professional. The installations are flawless and look better than they did before. I have absolutely zero complaints and nothing but compliments for the both of them. Even the ladies who do scheduling and customer service were great (Skylar was the one I interacted with most).

I gave three stars for cost because this was incredibly expensive and, I assume, the industry average. I didn't have the luxury of shopping around because I didn't want my family to freeze, so I went with what was available at the time. I'm not sure how most people would be able to afford these repairs, if I'm being honest. None of this, however, is any fault of the men and women with whom I interacted, and everything I purchased is working flawlessly.

Pricy but was very polite and quick at finding the issue and resolving it.

Provided a quote 50% higher than other companies. Skip them. Nice enough sales guy but they have to call back to central office to get any information on pricing

We called because our heat went out and they scheduled us for first thing the next morning. Fair price and honest, quality service. Will definitely use them again!
