We purchased a house from the builder, and Shagvac installed the HVAC system for us. They are friendly and knowledgeable.

They helped explain how to check the filter. One of our room has a further run on AC, They helped rebalance the AC and now this room is much cooler.

They answered our questions professionally and provided tips on how to maintain these machines. Very happy customers!

I would be remiss not to tell you how much we love our new heating/cooling system just installed by Shagovac heating/cooling. The ability to be able to actually control what temperature we want, and in each room, has never been this good since we moved into the house in 1994. Thx so much Shagovac. Also, I have no idea how in the world they did it for the price they did, because I feel like it should have been a lot more. But if I have learned anything by working with Shagovac is that they are not just consummate professionals but also extremely fair. I cannot thank the people at Shagovac enough for all they did for our family. Highly recommend!!!!

They stood us up for the estimate appointment. I foolishly ignored that warning sign and made an appointment for the work to be done based on the fact that they installed the HVAC system in our new construction home so they should be familiar with the configuration of the system. My wife rearranged her day to be available and to have the space ready for them to work. They didn't show up on time for the appointment to do the work (the crew who was supposed to do the work was AWOL and the owner showed up 40 minutes late after multiple angry calls from me) and then left immediately after arriving to "go get some equipment." Why didn't you bring the equipment needed to do a basic job like installing a vent? He then tried to blame me for the problem because I didn't give them enough time to do the work even though they said it would be plenty of time when I made the appointment. I will never work with Shagovac again.

A Shagovac service technician visited our home to see whether we needed our ducts cleaned - and advised us that our air cleaning system is doing its job so there would be no benefit to having them clean the ducts. They don't talk you into unnecessary maintenance. I love their integrity!

Although they may take a few days to respond, especially when backed up with calls, they are very efficient at repairing heating systems, especially older furnaces! Highly recommended . 5 stars ⭐️

A/C stopped working overnight earlier this week. Called Shagovac next morning. Receptionist was very pleasant, scheduled service for same day. Ian arrived 1:30, quickly diagnosed problem, installed new fan motor, checked remainder of system, including coolant level. Completed work in about an hour and restored 20+ year old system to like new.

I got home from a camping trip to a 90° home, made a call to Shagovac and had someone actively making repairs within an hour. Great people, fair pricing and impeccable timing. Shagovac has a new customer and now I have a reliable HVAC company, not a bad day after all.

I was having issues with my heat. The furnace would kick on and off but it never stayed on long enough to warm up the house. I called Shagovac heating and cooling since they are a great local family business owned company with a great reputation for their customer service and value. They offered to come over right away (on a Sunday night) but due to my schedule I was not available until Monday afternoon. The technician was prompt and on time. He was very courteous wearing foot covers as to keep my house clean. Once he checked and tested the furnace, he explained what the issue was and fixed it promptly. I definitely would recommend Shagovac Heating and Cooling to my family and friends.

Second time using Shagovac. Impressed by the fact that the owner himself comes out to quote the job. Fast, responsive and professional. Will continue to recommend them! Quoted on one day and they came out the next day and put in our new central air unit! Loved the whole experience.

Technician's are nice and knowledgeable. Fixed my furnace water line in minutes. A few days later it started acting up again. I called them out and a technician came out and cleaned my drainage pipe and they didn't charge me for the second visit.

The company had to come back a third time. I was told I needed a new furnace. I had to finance the new furnace and AC. The company was great helping me get the financing. The installers were amazing. All I can say is read your paperwork very well. The were going to charge me 13% financing when the bank gave me 0% APR. I had to argue with them to get this extra $1200 removed. By the end of the day they had removed it and it was all settled. The office people were nice and the installers were great. Just read your paperwork, so you know how much you are supposed to be paying.

I'm so late with this review, but we had a fantastic experience with Shagovac Heating and cooling. They serviced our furnace several times but it was getting old and on its last legs. When the furnace finally gave out, we called Shagovac. They assessed the situation and within two days delivered and installed a new furnace and air conditioner. We had forgotten to ask about an Aprilaire so the installer contacted Hugh, the owner, and Hugh promptly delivered the unit himself. Everything has been working beautifully. We also purchased a maintenance contract and they call us promptly every 6 months to arrange an inspection. Service and personnel are exemplary. We highly recommend Shagovac. Kudos to a company who is service oriented, courteous, and highly skilled .
