Was absolutely in heaven when I went to Straders for the 1st time and bought my first $49.99 plant ! What a beautiful love she is ! HUGE ! Unfortunately it has mealy bugs 🐛 and is slowly dying. I didn't even know until a plant mom came to visit and informed me. Now I'm off to Google "How to kill mealy bugs" as a new plant mom I suggest new plant parents shld have a "sick" checklist before purchasing

This has been my houseplant store of choice for as long as I can remember. I LOVE their itty bitty $3 plants and have raised a ton of them to full size. They've recently upped the price on their houseplants - I understand some are rarer and I like the selection, but it feels like casual plant lovers have been priced out. Still giving 5-stars because I love this store so much and the staff is so nice.

I’ve been to all the Strader’s and this one is my favorite. The workers here are so kind and informative and the house plant selection is wonderful. They also have a “Rare Plants” shelf that is fun to check out. Overall just really enjoy this location and I recommend it.

Turned the lights off the inside 20 minutes before they closed. Couldn't finish my shopping, so I didn't buy anything. Guess they don't appreciate customers. Certainly will not be back at this location!

Huge store! I was like a kid lost in a candy store! The location is very well organized, with beautiful arrangements and displays to inspire. The place was very busy. There were plenty of employees available, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. They had everything I was looking for (in season) and a lot of plants that I couldn't find anywhere else.

I am so glad that I live close and frequent this location. They always have such a great variety of houseplants at a great price and that are healthy. The staff is always friendly and willing to chat plants and make recommendations. I have been to other locations and this store is priced well for some of the plants that they are selling. Highly recommended for my crazy plant people.

I’ve always enjoyed going here until today, I have in the past purchased items and used my membership with Franklin park for a small discount since they partner with garden centers and no employee has ever given me issues until today with the discount, the woman working the counter was obviously new so she had a gentlemen come over to help and the line grew long, he was very rude and so matter of fact stating “we don’t do that here nor have we ever” and that’s fine if that’s the case but I’ve used it in the past so what has changed? The center itself is wonderful and has great products but the interaction I had today alone… I might be looking elsewhere since they have someone working there who is rude, short and presumptuous.

Lovely location, but the manager is terribly rude!!! I think this is the nicest Strader’s in terms of quality and variety. I work in Grove city so I often will stop in on my way before or after work to look for a particular item. In the past two weeks, I have stopped and asked simple questions and the manager, Al, has always been extremely disrespectful , and talks to me like I’m a complete idiot. My questions were simple that I wanted an expert opinion. … not Google as I’ve heard him tell other customers. He acts very irritable if you ask questions and acts like you, the customer should know the answer.
I took a picture of my plant that I had questions for him to Oakland, and they were extremely friendly and more accommodating and helped me solve my plant problem. They didn’t talk to me like I was an idiot.
If you continue having this man talk to customers very condescending, you will quickly start losing customers. If you read some of the comments posted here on Google, you will see some complaining of him.
There’s pricy ($1000+) fountain I asked my husband to buy me for Mother’s Day from this location and we will not be purchasing it as we will take our business to Oakland. -
It's a nice place. Can be a bit expensive but overall not bad. The people who have been there for a long time are very kind and helpful. The others are 50/50 if they are going to be nice or rude. Overall, I recommend the place. I go there every year for my summer flowers but they are hit and miss for vegetable plants

Beautiful place love the koi fish and the trees throughout the store

Large selection of flowers. Extremely busy that day. Older staff not very friendly or helpful, seemed to be bothered by my questions. Pointed me to the area of the flowers I was looking for.....BUT the Younger staff was extremely friendly and helpful helped me carry what I found, helped me get a cart. Also helped me with the pot needed to plant the flowers. They also helped with the posting soil.

I took my 8 year old grandson with me for a little spring shopping 🛍. He loved all the wonderful treasures. He helped me pick out several things for my yard.

We stopped here on a road trip, it's so much nicer than the pictures tell! Beautiful place, everyone works hard to take care of each and every plants 🥰
-
Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are a little high but selection is nice

Got our Christmas tree here (among other plants and items) at a great deal! The other Strader’s might have size or quaintness, Grove City has both and the absolute best people you could ever want to do business with! (The pic is the Strader’s fireplace, wish it was mine!)

Made our flower beds amazing and we only spent $30! It was fill a pallete for $20 bc we mixed and matched!! Cheaper than Walmart where we normally shop.

I bought my annuals this year from here and they are doing amazing, I also got the same plants at home depot and from another nursery. The ones from here are triple the size of the others.
I also bought 2 Easter cactus from here, they are doing very well too. Friendly staff and great selection. -
Been going here for years. They have a great selection of plants and other garden center needs. I've never had any problem with staff or management they have always been helpful when I've needed them. I can just go there to walk around and look at everything.

Plants are priced higher here, compared to other garden centers. The veg plants were in bad shape and that's what brought me to my most recent visit. Unfortunately, my search continued... Just didn't want to have to go the big box store route.... Maybe next year 🤷🏽♀️

Great selection of plants in very helpful associates, able to answer all my questions.

Owner awkwardly stares at people from in the corner. He often shuts lights off on you and shoos you out the door before they even close. Plants and pots are never on sale and crazy overpriced
