Our furnace was red-tagged a week before Christmas and initial estimates from another company seemed high. Ben from Bernard offered a comprehensive range of fair options and was incredibly helpful and responsive while answering our questions, and they were able to get the work done efficiently and to a high standard before the holiday. We had a great experience all-around and highly recommend Bernard to anyone in the area.

Other places wouldn't give me a appointment till the following week. My furnace was not working and the temperature outside was in the low twenties during the day. They came out the next day and fixed it. Jared was up front and transparent with me. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. He was kind and took his time to explain things to me. I am not going anywhere else for these services. I am sticking with Bernard!! Great Company and Great Work!!

After meeting with Anthony, we chose Bernard's to replace the original furnace in our home. Bill and Hayden called to say they were on the way, arrived at the expected time, kept us involved and informed with the process and progress of the install. Great attention to detail in their cleanup process. They gave me a "tour" of the new furnace and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. It was a pleasure to have these talented craftsmen as guests in our home. I would highly recommend them and will use them when our AC needs replaced. Thank-you, gentlemen :)

Contacted Bernard Heating & Cooling to replace my 30 year old HVAC system. Communication and response was excellent throughout the process. Bernard provided estimates for three different system configurations. Opted for a Lennox variable capacity system that has exceeded expectations. The install crew were considerate, competent, and at times entertaining. After the installation, Bernard sends a technician to do a final inspection and system turn-up. I particularly appreciate that they also did technical system performance tests. Much like an ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) in my own telecom industry. Replacing an existing HVAC system is a significant undertaking and investment, but well worth it.

We were having problems with our furnace on the morning of December 22nd(2025)Within 2 hours of calling, Bernard’s was there. Very friendly, he patiently explained what was wrong and helped us to decide NOT to get a new furnace because it only needed to be repaired.

We lost heat durning that cold weekend & Bernard’s H&C was the only company to call back and show u early Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the furnace was on its last legs so the next morning Travis & Billy show up and replace the furnace and air. I contacted them when I woke up and my furnace had quit. Under 60 degrees. They immediately responded and sent a tech out before noon. He had the diagnosis and went ant got the needed parts. It was fixed and toasty by dinner time. Professional and reasonable. I will be using them if ever necessary. Thank you!

Wonderful & expert service by a technician who showed up at the end of a long day in sub zero temperatures with a great attitude. He was happy to stay as long as needed to diagnose and repair any issues. I signed up for the annual service bc he explained it so well. He is perfect for his job!

Last week with zero degree temperatures, one of my rental furnaces stopped working. As a landlord, I do much of my own repair and maintenance work. So when I called Bernard heating and spoke with Jared the service technician, he went the extra mile and reminded me to test a bit further on my own, but would he would try to hold a surface spot open for that afternoon. Within a few hours, I had the furnace up and running and am very thankful to Jared and Bernard heating for their approach to helping people first.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received! My furnace stopped working during a snowstorm, and the team still came out to help. Logan and staff were very courteous, professional, and made sure a plan was in place before he left to get everything back up to speed. It’s rare to find a company that truly goes above and beyond for their customers, but they definitely did. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of furnace repair —you won’t be disappointed!

I will honestly never use another company. They are professional, knowledgeable, reliable, kind, always respond immediately, and ALWAYS get the job done and do it right the first time. They are so helpful and respectful. Their prices are fantastic. They have done a lot of work at my business and their quotes are always lower than the competition but their work and professionalism blow the competition out of the water. I wouldn’t expect that from a company with the lowest quote. I can always rely on them to show up and take excellent care of us in an emergency! Best of the best!!!

Barnard Hearing and Cooling is fabulous
and worth giving them the opportunity to work on repairs or installs. I have been using them for 3 years for my yearly maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. They are accommodating and always punctual. When I have needed a repair they are quick to respond and help.

We had an appointment for a furnace check. Our furnace is 27 years old and has given us a great run. Jared was our tech and spent over an hour doing diagnostic and visual inspections. What he found was troublesome. Moisture leaking onto key components and a 6 inch split on one of the vents that if not replaced could have led to CO2 poisoning. He photographed EVERYTHING! Jared was patient and very eloquent in explaining the situation and our options. The guy knows his HVAC! We are moving forward with a replacement furnace that will be installed next week. Jenn makes scheduling pleasant and easy. Highly recommend Bernard Heating & Cooling.

Extremely pleased with my experience from the initial review and quote options on the spot from Anthony. I had several other quotes from others which made my decision on Bernard’s easy. I got a good competitive quote from the start on a high quality Lennox furnace and ac. The install went seamless. The team of young professionals ( Travis, Logan, Bill, Leo) who did the install were professional and polite from start to finish.

I had them install a new furnace and water heater at the same time. Everyone that I dealt with was professional, friendly, efficient and most of all responsive. They were responsive to my requests, my needs, my issues and my schedule. Immediately after the installation of the water heater, it was not working and they jumped through hoops to rectify the situation. It was discovered that it was bad from the manufacturer and they made it right the next morning. They were not the lowest price (by just a bit) but they had better products and included some extra work like sheet metal and piping. I would highly recommend Bernard Heating and I will use them again for any future HVAC work.
