On time when promised, Zak was here for estimate...gave me a date of June 20th. The crew was on time, finished in 1 day taking out a 200 year old white oak that was dying, when they were done, it was like they were never here...no leaves, no branches and very little sawdust. I would absolutely recommend them to take out any tree....

Richard's Tree & Crane Service did a magnificent job removing a large 23 year old dying willow tree from our back yard. Honest, courteous and professional from start to finish. They did a thorough job, grinding the stump and a large exposed root that was several feet long. My property was cleaner when they left than before they started - LOL - that's how well they cleaned up.

Outstanding work! I wish I had called this company years ago. The quality job they perform is exceptional. I had 3 large trees taken down and the whole team worked like a fine oiled machine. Their precision and high standards are the best.

Couldn’t have been happier with Richard’s Tree Service! We had 3 large trees cut down and 10-15 stumps ground at a vacant lot where we are building. Because of all the rain we had to postpone getting the trees cut, and Peggy and Rich had awesome communication with us the whole time while we were waiting for dry weather. They fit us in right as the ground dried up so their big trucks could in without getting stuck. Even with it being an empty lot, the crew still cleaned up all the leaves, little sticks, and clippings. They were in and out quickly, efficiently, and were very nice when we met them. 5 stars, thanks Rich!

Best company we have ever dealt with. The owner is wonderful and the guys that did the tree work were friendly and amazing doing the tree work. Everyone that we dealt with was extremely professional and excellent at their job. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM AGAIN!

Had Richard and his crew out to take down huge oak tree spanning over my house and neighbors. From estimate to removal to cleanup every one was awesome to work with! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get trees removed and or trimmed! Truly transformed our yard!

Zak and his team did a great job removing several trees at our home in Bay Village. They showed up as expected, worked diligently to get it done, and were conscientious with the yard. They also took out an additional tree that we didn't realize was dead and they took care of them all in one pass, which was very helpful. Thank you!

So happy with this company! We had a tree fall on our house Memorial Day weekend - we could not find any other tree service that would even answer their phones during the long holiday weekend EXCEPT for Richard's Tree & Crane Service. They came out ASAP and removed the tree - and did a quick, clean, professional job. Wouldn't use anyone else!

Had two trees removed end of July and the price I was quoted was great out of a half a dozen other places I’ve been quoted. They are very fair and everyone is super friendly ! We will definitely use them in the future they did an awesome job !

They had to cut and crane it over my garage plus had to deal with phone and cable lines across the driveway. They did a fantastic job! Best service ever. The crew on the job was friendly and courteous. Had 3 trees taken down. One was a 70 ft. oak. Fascinating to watch the choreography in action with one man up in the tree, another working the crane and several others getting fallen limbs into the chipper . Every member of the crew working smoothly and safely to get the job done. Highly recommend this company. Zach and Stephanie patiently explained the project beforehand. Very happy with the work done. Arrived at the initial appointment on time and showed up to do the work when scheduled. I was not at home when the work was done, but my retired neighbor, who watched the work being done, also said the workers did a professional job.

I had to have my tree cut down because it was tearing up my sidewalk, but I was very nervous about doing it because I live on a busy street, The tree was close to the house and power lines ran through it. Richard's Tree and Crane service came in to do the job and let me tell you they were fantastic from start to finish. Initially they were very professional and quickly came out to do an estimate. I easily made the appointment with them- they were happy to work with my schedule. They called to remind me of the appointment and let me know about what time they would be there even called the day of to let me know that they were on time and would be there in 30 minutes.
I found them to be very responsible, efficient and hard-working while removing the tree. They worked together like a well oiled machine and knew exactly what to do with no wasted time. In less than an hour the tree was down and chopped up. They were extremely careful of the powerlines that ran through the tree as well as making sure my tree did not damage my house which was close or get close to any cars that were passing by. They ground the stump They cleaned up everything extremely well and left me with very little work which involved filling up the hole a bit that was left. I am thrilled to recommend them to anyone Who needs tree service. I also want to mention that I did not have to be home at any of the times they were there for the estimate or for the tree removal and that they were willing to except payment by mail after the job was done. I was able to be home and was glad I got to see how well they work together to do a beautiful job. I am really pleased with Richard's Tree and crane service and I highly recommend them.

Impressive operation from start to finish and a level of professionalism that you can only get from a local family-owned and operated business. Peggy was quick to answer the phone the first time I called, eager to answer all of my questions, and accurately managed the various projects my neighbor and I wanted completed. Zach was all smiles, very polite, and I knew I had found the right company to do the job after meeting with him during our estimate. Richard is an expert operator and it was impressive watching how he and his team worked in unison. The entire crew was constantly working to keep our property clean and the pride they have in their work was obvious from the very beginning.

As for the job, we had a 150' row of huge, established trees removed between our house and our neighbor's house. Each and every tree was hoisted over our house and precisely laid in our front yard, all while they were working directly under our power lines. They did the job in half they time of other estimates and if all that was not enough, they also beat our next closest estimate by $500.

Their team is impressive, their equipment is impressive, and they turned an otherwise daunting task into a pleasant and worry free experience.

We don't have any more trees, but we have already recommended Richard's to a bunch of our neighbors and will continue to do so.

This is the 3rd time I have used Richards. They are extremely professional, courteous and respectful. The price was excellent. Great cleanup. Like they weee never there. They dis exactly what they said they would do. The estimator, office staff and crew were great.Highly recommend them.

Only rating a one because I cannot go lower. Disaster through and through, did not finish the job after claiming there was metal in the tree (spoiler alert, another (a real pro) company came in and finished the job). Much more to say, but the pictures below are sufficient.., how they left the job and how someone else finished. Yep, no imaginary metal anywhere to be found.

Richards removed this giant oak tree this morning. Couldn’t be happier with their professionalism, timeliness and cleanup! We have already scheduled with them to remove 7 additional large trees. Definitely recommend Richards Tree Service if you need trees removed!

From beginning to end top notch professional service and unbeatable pricing! Zak came to our home to provide an estimate. He was on-time and very knowledgeable. He made recommendations and provided tips on things to keep in mind related to Oak trees. Who knew you couldn't just trim oaks anytime of the year, certainly not me! We moved forwarded with a plan to remove 3 large pine trees, 1 huge sugar gum tree, and trimming of 3 huge oaks. Certainly this was going to be an all day project in my mind.

Boy was I wrong, Richard and his crew (including convoy of impressive cranes & equipment) showed up ahead of the 8am scheduled time on our project day and got right to work. Now comes to coolest thing I've seen in a long time. My husband and I watched from the window as Richard manned the largest crane we've ever seen with ease as his team harnessed in the sugar gum tree. Before we knew it the base of the tree was getting cut with a chainsaw and just like that the tree was gone!! Richard & team did this 3 additional times and in less than 1.5 hours all 4 gigantic trees were removed. Impressed is an understatement.

As the team then moved onto trimming 3 remaining Oaks we watched in awe as our yard was transformed by the best in Northeast Ohio. When all was complete they went around and picked up any remaining sticks/leaves. Richards Tree & Crane Service went above and beyond our expectations. It won't be the last time we use their services that's for sure. Thank you for a job well done - We'll be recommending you guys to everyone we talk too.
