I've been using Crawford Mechanical for years for our annual backflow test. They always show up when they say, and are in and out with no muss or fuss.

The most recent test, the technician noticed that our backflow is working overtime and recommended that we install a pressure reducing valve. The tech said that our water pressure is higher that it used to be due to city infrastructure improvements.
Normally, I'm skeptical about this sort of thing, but I'd been seeing the problems that the tech said can result from too much pressure.

The technician did have to move the installation back one day due to a part not being in stock. The actual installation was done quickly and professionally.

Both times I've had the team at CMS to my home they've been amazing - they're prompt, friendly, efficient, neat, and they do really great work. I highly recommend them!

By far the worst mechanical company in Ohio. Save your time with these idiots and go else where. Bill the owner has no respect for anyone and ruined my property. Do your research before going with a contractor that overpriced and adds 97 change orders costing a total of an extra 100k on my project and they don’t even show up!

I used Crawford Mechanical Services to unclug a main drain due to water back up. Technician came on Monday, as scheduled, used a short drain snake, at a cost to me of $ 354.00, but had water back up again by Thursday. Called their office early on Friday to report the problem. This company was charging full price again for service and would not warrant their work. However, they sent another technician late on Friday "just to look". The man didn't attempt to unclug the drain and only offered as a solution digging exterior pipes at a cost of $2,000. The man was rude, disrespectful, unpleasant and clearly didn't want to be there. Called Nate,supervisor to report but never returned the call. This company has very poor costumer service, will give you all kind of run around and will take advantage of costumers with plumbing problems. They do not have your best interest in mind. Be cautious and careful to invite them into your home.

CMS has helped us with 3 different plumbing service needs and, each time, they are knowledgeable, timely, and do quality work! They are now our go to service and we highly recommend them!

We went through the very long process of annexing into the City of Columbus to have access to city water to have difficulty finding a contractor to do the work. We reached out to CMS and they came through for us! They were prompt, thorough and professional! An A+ company with great employees! A huge shoutout to Shawn. Water heater originally installed by Crawford 17 years ago finally failed to heat water. Called and Mike and Sam showed up. After quoting several options I decided on a new Bradford White hybrid electric heater. They picked up new heater and returned to install same day. Less than 24 hours without hot water, great response, service, installation at a very fair price. Same as it was 17 years ago. Mike and Sam were great to work with.

I would like to give my two cents on Crawford. I am a supervisor of a large apartment community and Crawford is my absolute go to vendor for all my plumbing and commercial HVAC needs. Nate, Angela, Brett are amazing with communication and responsiveness, clear cut to the point quotes. I would recommend them to anyone (and have). Don't believe me? Give them a call, they will prove it to you themselves.

Crawford has to be hands down the best company I have ever hired!! They are here when they say they will be, they get the job done right the first time. They never try to "pad" their work, if they say it needs fixed or replaced you can 100% believe that is what is needed to be done. They always clean up when they are finished.

WOW! This is my first time using CMS. From the moment I called, Stephanie and Angie were so friendly and kind. Service response was on point! The team that was sent was quick and on time. They were extremely professional, fast (all done on my lunch hour) and very friendly. I strongly recommend CMS for all your plumbing needs.

Emily and Jess were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The only complaint is the cost. Emily and Jess have no control over this but we felt 4500 is way to high for a new on demand hot water tank.
