Great place to do business. I needed a hot surface ignitor and they had it in stock. Greg was super friendly and got me the part I needed.

Had a technician named Justin. No heat problem. Came out, diagnosed the problem, identify the problem part, order a new part, came back a week later, installed the new part and the furnace is working again. As a former service technician myself, (retired), I was impressed with the knowledge and troubleshooting skills this young man had. This company will definitely be my go to from now on! PS: shout out to the girls in the office who set this service call up, great communication!

Thank you for taking such great care of my family. We recently purchased a home that needed a new furnace, water heater and to have air conditioning installed. After getting some other quotes and talking to other companies I was starting to wonder if we made a bad decision of purchasing the home we did. Thank you Rick’s Affordable Heating & cooling for helping us love our home again. We enjoyed the process starting with Ian coming to the house and talking with us about the different options. Dylan, Nate, Spencer and Braden (maybe? I’m sorry I’m bad with names) were amazing executing everything we wanted done. Never in my life have I had anyone come do work on my home and leave it cleaner than it was before they got there but this group sure did. They put down tarps to prevent rain water from being tracked in our home and cleaned up every area they worked in or walked through. They walked us through the process keeping us informed every step of the way. Went above and beyond offering things to temporarily heat our home while the unit was down. They were always on time and nice to have in our home. Thank you for making this process enjoyable and giving us so much more room in our basement. Would recommend to anyone looking to have anything done on their home. Not photographed is the beautiful new air conditioner due to it raining outside right now.

I had a fantastic experience with Ian. Our old thermostat had stopped working, and he quickly helped us get a new, smart one installed. He recommended and installed a model offered by Rick's affordable membership program. The whole process was smooth and professional—highly recommend!

I recently had heat issues with my furnace. Ted was the tech that came out the day I called. After inspection, he explained the problem thoroughly and gave me a quote on the repair. Per my request, I also asked for a quote for a new furnace. Debating on the two quotes I decided to go with a new furnace. Ted was very knowledgeable and great customer service.

Fast forward three working days, Dylan and Taylor were at my house installing the new furnace. Both technicians get a great job! They were able to do the installation smoothly, effectively.

Called this week about our furnace going out and stressed how urgently we needed to speak to someone about installing a new one before the temps dropped too much with the winter storm heading this way. They said they would email me their quotes and estimates of the total cost and heard nothing. Not a single email or correspondence at all. We ended up going through someone else that actually made us a priority and would recommend you steer clear from this company if you need something done quickly and efficiently.

My furnace stopped working this past Friday evening. I called this company at 9pm and someone came out within the hour. They assessed the situation and scheduled an appointment the next day for a possible repair (my furnace was very old with the possibility of parts not available).
The next day, the tech tried to find the parts needed but they were not available. (Again, my furnace was 40 years old)
I decided to have my furnace and ac replaced (also OLD). An appointment was scheduled for today Monday. The tech let me use 2 space heaters that kept my living area comfortable while I waited for the install.
Today was the day of the install. I was really concerned that it may not happen because of the winter storm. (This was not an issue for them)
The techs (Dylan and Christian) arrived at my house first thing today. They installed the furnace and central air unit. The techs were friendly, proficient, and left the area clean.
This company made a very stressful situation bareable. Thank you!!

Last week, left a message through Google to get a quote for my furnace that stopped working on Saturday, Jan 31st (possible variety of reasons, thing is a beast from the 80s). Didn’t expect a response until Monday. Got one later that day from Rick stating he was the owner, and wanted to set up a time to call and get an appointment for a quote the next day, Sunday Feb 1st. I told him anytime after 10am, since I work nights, and would be home and awake after then. He said that works and to have a good night.

Received no call the next day, despite slightly ruining my sleep schedule to do so. Left another message through Google that I was concerned I hadn’t received any call or update despite being told I’d get one.

Never received another message, nor did I ever get a call. Would give a more accurate rating of zero stars for no service, but have to give at least one to make a review.

Thank you Ricks Affordable Heating & Cooling for the excellent service and decorum! Jackson Broach did a great job not only with the cleaning service but was extremely patient and kind to my three year old son who was very interested in his work. If you are looking for a family-friendly company paired with top notch work we highly recommend this place.

I had my furnace start acting up and not heating when it was -4° outside. I called for service around 12:30 am. Rick himself answered the phone and literally headed right to my home. My diagnosis with AI was completely wrong and Rick had it diagnosed correctly within a couple minutes. Since I needed a part her was able to keep the heat on and schedule me for the part install the next day. The previous companies I called had me wait quite a while only to tell me they were too busy to come out. Rick rocks.

I had a very dirty furnace because my previous renters had forgotten to use a filter. Justin removed the blower and took it to a car wash to clean it. He did a great job cleaning the furnace and made several helpful recommendations.

Christian and Dylan were fantastic technicians. They got everything up and running in a day and were able to answer all the questions I had. I'd recommend Rick's to anyone looking for minor HVAC work all the way up to a full system replacement.

I had the opportunity to meet Ian Montgomery. First off, let me tell you he was ON TIME! When I opened the door he greeted me with a smile. He was very pleasant and even took the time to educate me on air filters. As home owners we think we know what we're doing. We are so wrong! Trust the professionals!! Justin was our technician. He was polite and straight to the point. He diagnosed the problem and installed a new blower motor in our furnace in 1-2 hours. He also gave us an estimate on a furnace and A/C overhaul quickly. Nice young man. Will call Rick’s again in the future.

As always very great service at an affordable price. Very knowledgeable technician who had the furnace up and running in quick fashion.Justin was very thorough and checked everything that was a possibility and didn't just start changing out electrical parts that could have been bad. I have recommended Ricks to several people and will continue to do so. They have a great service plan that I would also recommend to everyone

Jesse, jacob, and Tyler installed my new furnace yesterday .They did a wonderful job in less than 5 hours. If a problem arose they kept me informed throughout the total process. Poor guys even had to get on my roof and freezing temperatures and didn't complain one time. They cleaned up their mess when they were done took the old furnace with them . I was very impressed with their professionalism. When the weather is like it was yesterday, my back door lock freezes and I can't shut the door. One of must have been messing with it. And when they left and I shut the door it locked perfectly. I don't know which one did it no one took credit for it but whoever did thank you so much. These guys went above and beyond and I'm so glad I came across Rick's affordable heating and cooling. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. Bravo boys job well done thank you
